I bought a vintage jacket that needed the buttons reinforced, this was the only Taylor I could find on a Saturday that was open. When I initially called for pricing and to confirm time, I was quoted $20 and they close at 5 o'clock despite the website saying they closed at five. When I got there, I confirmed the pricing again and was told to come back in four days. When I came back, I found the price was actually $25 because they had to add anchors to the back of the buttons. I have a feeling that these people do whatever is necessary to get the job done without consulting price change first, thankfully it was only five dollars extra. The pricing to me was reasonable, even with the extra five dollars. The work seems good, the buttons are secure now. I appreciate them going the extra mile to secure the buttons. read more

As a historical reenactor, when I need an alteration, it's never a typical request. I brought in an old wool sack-coat and asked for the following: 1. Add a button hole to create a hightened gorge/replace all buttons with 100% horn. (Horn buttons provided by me) 2. Close back center vent and hide seem. 3. Remove old polyester skeleton lining/add full structured lining with cotton broadcloth. (Fabric provided by me) I am blown away with the quality of the work. I've had some bad experiences with other local tailors, but these folks were a joy to work with. They not only understood my ask, they absolutely delivered on the job. While definitely pricier than other places ($42 to take in jeans vs $22 at another alterations place I took them), they do a GREAT job. I actually brought my jeans here after dishing out $22 at the other spot and getting them back with the back seam crooked and bumpy. Sew Perfectly had to first straighten the seam and smooth out the bumpy fabric, refit me, and then take them in a bit more, so I do understand the higher cost. In the end, they fit great on my waist, the seam on the waistband is hidden behind a belt loop, and there is no more bumpiness. I'm very pleased and will be coming back in the future! read more

I took my Ralph Lauren suit here and they altered the waist and did some hemming. When I got the pants back, there were holes and clear loose threads. I am appalled at the lack of care of my suit and the improper fitting. I have taken plenty of my wardrobe to other tailors and have never had an issue as damaging as this. Although timelines are sometimes iffy (a quoted week turned into three), the work and price are amazing. Sew Perfectly is perfect. The service and work here are second to none. I've had pants, dress shirts, and suit jackets altered so far and the finished products were exactly as expected. When adjusting the length of my shirt cuffs, she noticed that I was left-handed due to my watch being on my right hand. As such, she made the diameter of my right cuff a bit larger than the left one so my watch wouldn't bunch up under the sleeve. Gotta love the attention to detail!
