    Ovaltine Crema

    T. Castle is an interesting addition to the Mountain View boba scene, with a Taiwanese twist. The interior is bright & pretty clean, with a few seats for dine-in folks. But it's best suited for takeout. The service was also good; my orders were made on time & the staff are friendly. As far as the drinks, they are fine but don't particularly stand out in terms of quality. The Oreo Brulée Milk Tea was a bit lacking in flavor & creaminess. At least there are some unique options, like the Ovaltine Crema (which I find amusing to classify as a "tropical" flavor). The Egg Puff Waffles are the highlight for me. They are made hot & fresh. I enjoyed both the Oreo Crunch and Cheesy Puff. I don't crave waffles nearly as often as I crave milk tea, so unfortunately I don't see myself returning very often. But I think T. Castle is worth trying at least once in case you find something nice.

Little walk in kiosk order type place off Castro selling tea drinks and the egg waffle hot dog as their gimmick to get you in the door. Ordered at 630 pm on a Sunday with no line and one couple in front of us. There were two people working but 15 min later still not served. I fear this place may not last in this spot very long so try it soon. CA egg waffle - served with imitation crab and mayo - the toppings did not have very much flavor so ketchup was needed - sweet sauce is hoisin but sweetened - overall pretty good but the ratio of carb to meat is off given how big the egg waffle is - should try the corn next time - self sauces available: ketchup, mustard, hoisin, sweetened soy sauce HK MT - Based on previous reviews got 50% sweet since it sounds like they're light on the sweetener syrup (this is great actually). - Flavor was like a creamier tea. Maybe a little smokier? Neither a plus or a minus, just different slightly. Oreo Soft Serve - Just a plain vanilla soft serve with Oreo crumbs and a single cookie. - Standard basis of comparison is the Mc flurry and wifey says this one tastes better so that's good.

Stopped by during lunch to grab an egg waffle and drink with my coworker! I believe this place took over Cafe 86 which was originally at this location, I thought the interior was very cute and would be a nice place to hang out with friends for a quick bite/drink. We ordered on a kiosk and our order came out fairly quickly. I got the Oolong Tea Crema and my coworker got the Hong Kong Milk Tea. We both enjoyed our drinks, I do wish their tea was a little stronger since I couldn't taste as much oolong as I usually do at other places. My coworker and I shared an egg waffle, we got the mixed flavored one (chocolate chip and Oreo crumbled), it's a solid egg waffle! I'm very curious about their hotdog waffle and may come back to try that.

Decent new hong kong egg waffle spot with sweet and savory options, as well as multiple egg waffle wrapped asian fusion hot dog (beef franks) options. Food: - Generally enjoyed the savory egg waffle options with seaweed and pork floss, and salted duck egg you rarely see elsewhere, average egg waffle otherwise - Milky soft serve, more vanilla than milky compared to some other spots Service is a bit slow with what seems like just one guy hectically sweatshopping every order during soft opening. However, also 25% off during soft opening until end of the year 2025. Instagram: TianTianEats

Summary: Okay for the area, but... Details: This little block of Mountain View continues to disappoint with its eating options, and has largely convinced me to just eat elsewhere, given the choice of meet-up locations with South Bay friends. T Castle is yet another milk tea shop addition to the area, and to their credit, they're probably even one of the better options, while also offering up a smattering of other food options that you won't find elsewhere, like egg waffle hot dogs, and soft service. That said, if you're looking for good milk tea, and don't mind going 10-20 minutes north or south, you'll have much better drink choices with, say, Molly Tea. But if you insist on something within walking distance after eating in the neighborhood, again, they aren't the worst choice, with tea drinks that have decent tea notes, and aren't overly sweet. Their default non-dairy creamer isn't great though, so you're better off with one of the real or alt-milk options. Their egg waffles are on the denser and less crisp side, and their soft serves are all the same milk/vanilla base, but served with different types of toppings. Unsurprisingly, the brown sugar boba was way too sweet for me, but it was hard telling how much of that was from the brown sugar vs the soft serve itself (I think it was a bit of both). Also, as mentioned by some other reviewers, they might still be figuring out some of the kinks since opening, as our orders also had mistakes in them (i.e. boba in the no-boba milk tea my friends ordered) Realistically, probably a three star for those in the area, but for someone as far as myself with better options in-between, I can't see myself coming back. Accessibility: Small cafe with not much seating in general, but a couple of which are accessible. Space itself is pretty spacious and easy to get around, and you order from a tablet kiosk like in many other similar places these days.

Decided to stop by because I was in the area and I was enticed by the egg waffles. It's a rather cute little shop with some seats inside and a very minimal layout. Lots of variety on the menu though from savory and sweet egg waffles to various teas, smoothies, and so on. I ordered the Hong Kong silky tea and the jasmine green tea with crema. I ordered 50% sweetness because that's what I usually do at every milk tea shop but I would not recommend doing that here unless you don't like your drinks sweetened at all. The tea flavors were great for both drinks nonetheless, especially the Hong Kong milk tea! It's not often that I come by a shop that sells this drink so I was glad to see it on their menu. As for the egg waffles, I got the original and the salted egg flavors. They're very soft on the inside, wished they were a bit more crispy on the outside but they both had a nice subtle sweetness and egg flavor. The salted egg flavor had small bits of the egg yolk throughout the waffle which was interesting but I think it could've used a little more salted egg overall. I believe they're in their soft opening stage right now so all menu items were 25% off which runs until Dec 31st if I'm not mistaken. Service was a bit slower because it was just one person but I didn't mind waiting and they were nice. Would like to come back and try the other drinks!

Came here to try some hot dogs fusion with egg puff waffles. They did not disappoint. My favorite was the California since it was like a mix between a street hot dog with the onions and mayo and California roll with the masago and crab imitate. Super flavorful. And their egg puff was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Also got So Hot as the other savory and their Strawberry cream puff ice cream for dessert. I also got a Red Guava Crema for a drink but forgot to take a picture of it since that's how good their hot dogs were. Not even sure if I should be calling them hotdogs. Inside is nice and cute and the service was quick.

Fun spot for drinks and egg waffles. They have a variety of egg waffle options both sweet and savory. We tried the corny hot dog egg waffle which includes a large hot dog, corn, cheese, and drizzled with mayo I think?

No onion for my order but this is in my hot dog

Walk in only one person working, small store about 4 tables. We order in the kiosk because she seems to be busy. Egg puff are a little sweet and no very crispy a little too chewy. We put no onion but the hot dog has too much onion, even on the box it says no onion. Hot dog itself is good not very salty. We also ordered Hong Kong milk tea and lemon tea with grapes but didnt take pictures because it didn't come until we finished. Employee also didn't call us to pick up after drinks on counter.

Cozy place. Love the mango sago came with the mango popping boba, what a plus. Puff dog looks great, will try next time

    Virgin Piña Colada

Drove by this cozy place couple of times and finally stop by and give it a try. This place does not disappoint! This drink I've got, virgin pina colada tastes just like the original but without alcohol. I also saw their menu has a egg puff corn dog, will definitely come back and try that!

    Front Kiosk

The bubble waffles, drinks, and soft serve are delicious! They have a wide variety of egg waffles (savory and sweet), and their soft serve is really good, and different than other places (you just have to taste it to find out). Service is good, and the owner is really nice. The ambiance is a light, inviting mood. They also have free wifi here so you can work here (like you would in a cafe!). If you do get the milk teas though (I got the jasmine green milk tea), I would recommend 100% sweetness, as the teas aren't that sweet to begin with. 10/10 Would recommend!

It sounds like a lot, but it actually works really well together. The White Champaca tea is on the mellow side, the Jasmine whipped cream adds additional floral aroma and extra creaminess, the sago gives texture without overpowering the drink, and the little bits of pecan add a nice surprise crunch. My husband's favorite is the Peach Oolong. I've had my fair share of peach milk teas over the years where they can be too sweet and the peach flavor tastes straight up like chemicals, but this has to be the best peach-flavored tea I've had so far! It has a fruity taste that doesn't overpower the flavor of the tea leaves. When I first visited last year, they had a "Fresh Oat Milk Tea Series", but I'm sad to say that it's not on this location's menu anymore. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---A M B I A N C E -- I'm diggin' the woodsy, warm, Asian-y aesthetic they got going on! Tea and merch are displayed on the walls, and pink is definitely their signature color, so expect to see pops of it here and there in the decor, cups, and to-go bags. This location has a decent amount of chairs and tables, but let me tell you, this place was hella busy back when it was the only Bay Area location. We learned the hard way that the parking lot gets packed. Sometimes you'll get stuck in the super small lot because someone isn't even in a spot -- they just have their car parked with the hazards on while they run in to pick up their drink. Other times, cars are waiting and signaling for a parking spot while other cars are on standby waiting for people to leave after grabbing their drinks. The gas station behind the shop clearly got tired of it too because they put up a bunch of signs saying they'll tow if you park there just to visit Molly Tea. I highly recommend parking down the street near the apartment sidewalks or across the street and taking a little stroll to the store instead. Honestly, it just showed me that no matter how tiny the lot was, people still made the effort to slide through for drank. Fair warning though -- definitely expect to wait and chill. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- S E R V I C E --- I will say, the staff handles the busyness pretty well. Lines are usually at or out the door, and they're receiving online orders simultaneously. There's another boba shop in the Bay that has a similar layout and process as Molly Tea, but that other chain feels like workers on an assembly line with deadpan faces. I feel like the brightness and warmth of Molly Tea is emphasized even more because of the friendly staff and their willingness to help with your order even after it's received.

Somehow, they always get it just right in terms of sweetness. The best part is the "three stack straw" which really brings out the taste of the tea. Drinks were being made and served to order minute by minute, and the overall wait time was ~ 15 minutes. While the seating here is comfortable and can be relaxing, make sure to plan ahead, as the sun can be quite the nuisance at the right angles!
