Orange and jasmine tea together is such a unique combination, really brilliant idea. GREAT JOB WOW TEA! I would definitely come back for this. Fresh tea was okay, but it was a bit too bland for my taste. Gelatos I tried samples of the pistachio and sweet rice milk. The pistachio was 10/10. The sweet rice milk was not for me since I'm not a fan of rice in desserts, but it might be great for others. The interior is really nice, and the parking lot is available. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait a bit, but it moved pretty quickly. Came to Wow Tea after seeing it on instagram. It's located in a little business park so it was actually pretty easy to miss but I liked that there were a few parking spots dedicated to the lot which was convenient. Looking over the menu, I was really drawn to the orange jasmine tea since it was such a hot day. My friend loves peach so the peach milk tea really caught her eye and my other friend immediately took to sampling the gelato and reported back on the two that piqued her interest. Overall, I personally enjoyed my tea the most, it was refreshing and the tartness of the orange was actually quite enjoyable in contrast to the floral jasmine tea. For our other choices, the peach milk tea got a little heavy and the peach flavor wasn't quite as robust as we would have liked. The gelato also could have been much more tea forward but as is, the texture is actually really nice! I think we just expected a little more pop. Overall, Wow Tea is a nice addition to the Palo Alto area. Some of their combinations are quite unique and I could definitely see myself returning to try more! This location of Wow Tea Drink is located in downtown Palo Alto. Parking may be hit or miss in this area, as it is mainly street parking, but there is also a parking garage nearby. I like how it is bright and modern it was inside. Ordering is through the kiosk inside. I was looking for a cream top drink I had awhile back at their other location, but I guess they do not have it because their other location did not have it recently either. It seems like they have a smaller menu, so it took me awhile to pick something. Anyway, I ordered their Mochi Rice with Boba and The Best Jasmine Green Tea Latte with boba, but as I was waiting for my drinks, their gelato intrigued me, so I went back to order their Sweet Rice Milk Gelato. Regular sugar and less ice was good for both drinks. The mochi rice drink was good, as I enjoyed the rice mochi a lot, but the drink was just decent. The green tea latte was just okay, as I felt like their tea and choice of milk did not go that well together, so it tasted more like a sweet milk than a tea latte. The gelato was so good, the toasted rice with the texture was perfect. Overall 4 stars for my visit, as I would say their drinks are maybe 3 / 3.5 stars, but 4 / 4.5 stars for their gelato - if I am in the area again, I would come back for that gelato, but probably not their drinks. read more

Stopped in for a little sweet treat after dinner. We tried their gelato, which comes in three flavors: dragon well pistachio, qilan olive oil, and sweet rice milk. Our favorite was the pistachio. New specialty tea house in Palo Alto. I saw this last week when I was at the area but didn't stop by. It is pretty good size for tea store. It was busy when we arrived. The store has plenty seating area. There's other store in Cupertino. You can order online or via the touch screen kiosk. My advise is to order online as it took a while to order using touch screen kiosk. They have tea drink and gelato. Only this location has gelato. For tea we ordered Wow Orange jasmine tea We order dragon well pistachio gelato snd Qilan o Oolong olive oil gelato. As it is busy store, it take a while for order to be ready. The tea was refreshing and the gelato was very unique as I never had these combination before. The gelato were not very sweet which is perfect. Overall the tea and gelato were good. read more

I've been going to the Cupertino location for a while, so I was really excited to try out this spot for the gelato! We got the Apple Qilan Oolong Tea Latte, Dragon Well Green Tea Latte, and White Peach Guan Yin Tea Latte. The fruit drinks both had good flavor, but the aftertaste, I was not a huge fan of. It felt like when someone where's too much perfume that it just lingers a little too long. The fruit aspect of the flavor tasted a bit "perfumy" for a lack of better words, so much so, you could still taste it even after drinking the Dragon Well. I really enjoyed the Dragon Well, probably one of the most fragrant and perfectly sweetened green teas I've had. We had light sugar and light ice on all of the drinks we got. The gelato we got the dragon well pistachio and sweet rice organic milk. The DW pistachio was super flavorful and I would get it again, the sweet rice was not my favorite. It didn't have a strong flavor and the rice texture was stiff yet chewy. But, both were flavorful and not overly sweet, so I appreciated that. There is a decent amount of space to sit down inside and outside. There was a slight wait, maybe 20min after ordering, and we went on a Saturday afternoon. I really enjoyed their milk tea flavor. I did my hw (aka read through the yelp reviews of their other location), and ended up choosing lapsang souchang black milk tea. It was great - I should've chose a lower sugar level though since it was just slightly too sweet for me. Maybe 50% next time. I did like that they didn't give me too much ice. Price wise - I'd consider it a splurge, but I do think the taste is comparable with the other popular Chinese tea brands that are known for milk tea (Molly tea/ moon tea). We went through the parking lot entrance that led us straight to the underground garage, but I did notice that there were outdoor/ground floor parking lot right next to the store. read more

I came here specifically for the gelato! It's rare to find a gelato tea flavors that aren't just jasmine or matcha so I was pretty excited. Strong tea flavors and creamy texture. I really enjoyed the dragon well pistachio flavor and the combination meshed well with the sweet rice milk gelato. The olive oil gelato was nice but I couldn't detect the olive oil in the flavor profile. The sweet rice milk gelato was the softest of the three and had bits of rice in it. Because the gelato was so tasty, my partner and I ended up ordering another. You order at a kiosk and service is pretty fast. The mochi rice gelato is very nice- it's a sweet milk flavor with hard and chewy mochi rice inside. 4/5 Jasmine tea - fragrant jasmine with soft chewy and fresh tasting boba. 5/5 Oolong milk tea- rich, lingering taste complicated tea leaves. Tried the jasmine tea latte, osmanthus oolong tea latte, dragon well green tea latte, and apple qilan tea latte from here and liked the osmanthus oolong tea latte most for its floral aroma. Dragon well green tea latte has a strong tea taste without being too bitter/astringent. The jasmine tea latte is similar to Molly Tea's jasmine milk tea. I passed this place on my walk down Sherman Ave earlier in the week and saw that inside decor and boxes were lined up by the window, plus some signage. I didn't have time to really pay attention to the name or even if there was an opening date. Today, I saw several people walking around with drinks with a blue sleeve. I remembered that this place had blue decor and I figured that it must be open now. My friend and I decided to check it out. Yes, its open! Well, they are in their soft opening stage. Certain drinks are 12% off. They have a screen on the left hand side where you can order. I'm thinking....and just a suggestion but maybe having another screen for people to place their order. This will be beneficial in the long run to avoid lines especially when they are in full open stage and with the summer approaching. The decor is simple, super clean and great little area to lounge while enjoying your sweets. I ordered the Wow Orange Best Jasmine with Boba. So good! and refreshing, especially on a hot day like today. Both the orange and the jasmine was not overwhelming. When I placed the order, I was able to choose the level of sweetness and the amount of ice that I wanted. Also, if i wanted to add on boba. You can become a member of their rewards program when you place your order. Their door entrance is more on the Sherman Ave side, right across from Starbird. I am soooo happy that there is another food/drink location in Palo Alto's Cal Ave. area. I wish them all the luck and hope that they can stay open for many, many years!! This is a very cute store that we have to give it a try. There are seating space if you want to hangout for a bit. Since we have already got drinks from another place, we decided to try their ice cream. We got 2 flavors in one cup. If I remember the flavors correctly. They are jasmine tea and earl grey tea. I like their ice cream and my kids like their drinks. Service is rude and non existent! Both times I came the service was bad so I don't think I will try another time. Today I ordered online for pickup in store. Although I asked for a late pick up my order was ready 25 minutes before the requested time. I ordered a iced jasmine tea latte with oat milk and it was so delicious. The store was quite busy but we got our drinks actually quite quick as you can easily order from the digital screen. The packaging for the drinks are sturdy and however a really nice design, there is a lot of seating and the store is very bright. read more

I got the dragon well mochi rice with matcha cloud drink. Not much of a cloud so not sure why they gave me a dome lid when there was no whipped cream or ice cream. It made it hard to mix the drink because the straw was too short. I took off the lid to mix but by then it had matcha and milk near the top of my straw so it was sticky... the mochi rice is kinda cool but man was it expensive like $9 it's also really loud inside but I guess that's to be expected when they have to make drinks. It's nice inside but some of the table choices is questionable because why is it so high for I would bring noise cancelling headphones if you want to work or study there. Bathroom is quite nice too hehe. I would just get tea next time or try the gelato. read more

Really enjoyed the Jasmine Milk Tea and found that less sweet was the perfect sweetness. Was not a fan of the Peach Oolong as it had an artificial flavor to me. Also bummer that the boba weren't ready even after 45 mins or so after opening and there were no other topping option. The ambiance was nice and smelled floral.
