I got my first haircut at T Hair N Nails today. I had heard that Tina is quick and that the price is right. Indeed I found that to be the case. I had a picture for a long inverted bob. Tina proposed that I go for a few more layers than the picture showed and I deferred to her experience. I think it was the right call because of the texture of my thick Asian hair. When I stood up at the end and she took the cape off, I felt like there were *too* many layers in the front, so I mustered the courage to ask if she could adjust it. She did a few quick snips and immediately it turned out the way I wanted. I appreciated that she blowdried my hair to get all the loose hairs out, and she used a straightener (no product) to simply style it. All without extra fees like the other places would charge. I'd recommend this place to everyone! This is my first Yelp review (yep, that's how good this was) and it probably took less time for her to cut my hair than for me to write this review. ;) It might be helpful to know that parking is in the back since it's not immediately apparent when you drive by. read more

I've gone in twice for haircuts and they are speedy and well priced. Tina is a professional, highly skilled. I plan on future haircuts here for a long time coming. Prices are on a sandwich board on the street, and I've always found street parking. On the second visit, she told me her credit card machine was down, but fortunately I had cash. Today I took my two children in to get a haircut after pulling into the parking lot and calling before business hours. Tina give me a time and then we came back she was finishing up with someone else she was very friendly and I felt comfortable in her shop. My daughter has really Tangly thick hair and cried through the experience and Tina was very sweet with her. The shop itself was not clean enough for me to warrant a pedicure, The haircuts turned out great though! Tina was so friendly and easy to talk to. I usually get shy around in public area. She made me feel so comfortable and reachable. I think we became good friends now. I had a highlight full foil, haircut and eyebrow wax. She offered me very reasonable price for all services. I don't think you can find a better here than anywhere else! She worked as a salon technician for 18 years so she did everything within less than an hour and half. Time went by fast. My color, highlight and eyebrow were just perfect. She gave me lots of layers with bang and it's easy to curl my hair. I usually get itchiness or skin irritation or damage hair after or during coloring but I didn't feel any strong chemical smell at all. She had two walk-ins came in during my appointment and she handled all by herself and managed cleaning too. She was so professional and provided great customer services. I came back next day to do coloring to blend well with my original hair color. It was amazing how it turned out later. I got pedicure while I was waiting for toning my color. She designed a beautiful flower on my first toe with extra sparkly top coat for my toes. I was relaxed with warm foot bath and massage chair. I love her and I highly recommend her. I just wish her business goes prosperous and I want to come come back for my hair retouch or mani/pedicure. read more

(Shampoo is additional) Friendly salon owner who seems to enjoy her work and appreciates her customers. Worst haircut I've ever had. I went there for a trim .I told her not to cut my sides too short because it would stick out and I didn't part my hair. And to take about an inch off.Wow.She cut it so short I looked like a que ball.I only had a little tuft on top.she trimmed my beard a little and charged me an extra 5.I looked terrible. I feel bad for giving 2 stars because the owner, Linda is soo nice. She cut my hair a couple months ago because I needed a cheap fix from another place that i went to and paid $45 for. It was not a bad haircut at all for what I paid here ($20 for cut, shampoo, and tip). But when my boyfriend went here a couple days ago to get a close fade...he ended up going home and shaved his head. It was the only solution to fixing up her haircut. Although she provides cheap service, I don't recommend coming here if you're a male lol. But after seeing how horrifying my boyfriend's hair turned out, I'm scared to come back here too. read more

I didn't get an updo or a cut, just a conditioning treatment but... I've had a few conditioning treatments in my day and this was by far the best!! Linda, the girl who took care of me, gave my head a massage!! Omg!! OK, I must admit that I love my head being rubbed, so this was a very nice surprise and it felt so good. I got a wonderful haircut here. I'm a picky old lady and often not happy with haircuts. This was VERY inexpensive and VERY good. However, I would not recommend any nail work here. I went home and removed the polish. She didn't deal with my cracked cuticles at all. Go only for the haircuts! read more

Exceptional customer service. She does everything on her own and does a great job of it. I got highlights from her and she gave me the best, most natural looking highlights I have had. If something is off or not exactly how you want it, she will go out of her way to make sure you get exactly what you want. Now i can not speak of their quality of work because i never made it that far. I bought their special off Groupon for a hair cut, shampoo, and highlights. The Asian lady who is the manager refused to honor it. She said it's only good in October and i told her i'm holding the coupon and it does not expire until March 2014. still months away. She said no and offered a much more expensive package. I asked her why then put offers on Groupon to get more customers only to bait and switch when customers come. She said she does not care and told me to deal with Groupon. So i called Groupon and they refunded me my money and told me they will speak with the manager to get her to stop doing her shady practices. Will never try to make business with this salon again. read more
