I'm sorry I hate to do this especially in my own community where this was a good idea to open a boba place here .. I tried it the first time during spring break and had the milk tea which was good .. Today I decided to go after work because I was craving boba . I arrived at 12pm and the place is dead which is good because students are still in school. I ordered the mango matcha latte with boba and popcorn chicken. I got my drink first and waited for my popcorn chicken. I didn't wait long because I was the only one there. I got my popcorn chicken and decided to take a bite of one while I was going into my car I realized that this wasn't like any popcorn chicken. The meat was raw in the inside I started breaking few pieces and most of them were raw. I went back inside and told the lady what happen and she said sorry the fryer must not be hot enough. So she went back to make me another one . As I waited I couldn't believe this was happening and hopefully the next batch is better. She came back and gave me a new batch with the same bag I used because I put the same ketchup packets inside she said and apologized again . As I was leaving I'm breaking a few pieces the one I was breaking was well done... until I got home I decided to cut all the pieces in half . Half of the order was not cooked all the way again and it seems like she dumped my 1st order back in the fryer cuz one of the old pieces that was and still raw was in the bottom of the bag. I can't believe it and I'm not the type to make a scene . I just hope I don't get sick anytime soon and I won't be coming back. Plus my drink was warm by the time this whole process took place .. I'm sorry things like this turns me off and I wouldn't recommend getting the popcorn chicken here. It would've been nice if they took time to cook it since I was the only one there or have gotten a refund for my trouble .. $14 dollars wasted like I said I hate to do this but the community has to know and hope Thub can do better with their product read more

So far not so good. Hours listed on website are wrong. Also on door. There is a sign you can't see with I guess their new hours. Went in a 1030am and tapioca was not yet ready. She said another 10 to 15 minutes. If you open at 9 or 10 should your stuff not be ready?? I will try again in a couple weeks and if better I will update the review. Just thankful we have a drink spot w appetizers and food. Drinks are hit and miss, give them an opp to improve their staff skills and operation. Kids come here quite a bit. Chicken Briyani is good here and hits the spot. Mild was not as flavorful but it came with a light curry sauce on the side. Medium has a good amt of heat and was perfect, portions were generous but chicken was more bones than meat. I recently tried Mountain House THub for the first time a couple months ago and it's become a regular place for me now despite living in Tracy! I ordered the Crème Brûlée the first couple times and they were super delicious and reasonably priced (includes boba) and tried the Mango Matcha Latte with Boba today. My sister ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba. I'd rate the Crème Brûlée as maybe a 9/10 (mix it together to make sure you're not just drinking the warm topping straight) and the Mango Matcha Latte a 6/10. It wasn't green and didn't really look like the picture but did have a bit of matcha and mango taste. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea is about an 8/10 but my sister said she'd probably order the Crème Brûlée instead. There's also only one size (except some drinks only come in a smaller size). I've had the Passion Fruit Tea before with Lychee and was not a fan. Definitely try this place if you're in the area! read more

The quality of the Boba drinks (warm, not the best taste) and cupcakes (not fresh, red velvet does not taste like red velvet) are not good. For the Boba, you don't get any options to choose what you want in your boba. i.e. less sugar. Even though we live in MH, we won't be coming here and will instead drive to Tracy or Livermore where there are better tasting Boba and snacks. If the owners are reading this review, please make sure to remind your customers to throw their cups and straws in a trash bin. Walk the Cordes park and school, you will see a lot of it thrown in these areas and littering our neighborhood. Not your fault, but reminding your Customers will help keep our community clean. read more

I actually really like the Boba they use a lot. Got a Thai milk tea really enjoyed it. Also got an order of samosas that were tasty even if they aren't made fresh. However good the product might be tho I won't spend my money where I am not treated right. 1215 afternoon not busy. No one in front of me in line. 1st time here. Hired girl was busy making drinks I can clearly see. But then a middle aged Indian woman came from the back and looked at me at least 3 times. Saw me standing at the register but didn't offer a hello or even a smile!! She looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to place my order! No saying we will be right with..welcome in! Nothing ! I was able to check this place out on Thanksgivings as many boba places in Tracy were closed. The location is really neat and the inside is well-decorated. The girl taking my order was super welcoming and helped me decide what sugar level to choose. I ordered the Creme Brulee & the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The Creme Brulee drink itself was very nice, the accents of the caramelized sugar adds a nice touch. I ordered the Brown Sugar at 80% and it was still pretty sweet to my liking. Drinks were pretty good but now let's talk about the boba. Super inconsistent in terms of chewiness. I had some pieces that really were chewy and nice, but the majority of it was super hard, as if it was left over night or it wasn't cooked properly. If you guys are able to work on that, it'll definitely be one of MH's hidden gems. read more

It was maybe the best boba place ever. I live in the bay area so I have been to enough boba places to know that this was awesome! There are Indian snacks and coffee and tea and of-course boba. We tried the samosa, veg puff, muffins , black coffee and mango matcha latte. I would rate all of them 5 stars. The samosa was crispy and so fresh and perfectly spiced. Veg puff was Soo buttery and crispy too, perfect Indian puff. Mango matcha latte was probably one if the best drinks I have had. There was no rush all customers were being treated nicely and the lady there who owns the place was soo sweet. Customizations were allowed so you can have a drink without ice and no one made a face or asked you questions. I would definitely recommend the place! read more

It was nice in the beginning when they opened the place now their is young kids and sometimes they make the drinks definitely even though I always ordered the same drink. I explained the drink looks different than the original but they didn't like it and gave me back the drinks with unhappy face even though I was very respectful and asked help with please and thank you. I love Boba teas and we were happy to find this gem at Mountain House. We ordered Matcha Boba Tea, Slushy, Samosas and Egg Puffs. Honestly, as an avid boba drinker, I really liked the quality! My mistake was not reducing the sweetness of the drink - I got a strawberry matcha latte with oatmilk and boba, and it's comparable to high quality boba places such as boba bliss. I went here for the first time tonight and i was pretty excited because i have been waiting for a tea place to open up in mountain house. The vibes inside are pretty nice, there's enough seating to do work while having a drink, and lots of staff. However, when i walked in most of the workers were just looking at me and I was waiting for them to take my order. I ordered the Thai tea and it's pretty good I would give it a 3.5 stars, but only because it's a little too sweet and does not taste like thai very much. With the amount of crowd that showed up, they did a fabulous job with maintaining calm and made sure all the orders were carried out. Today was their grand opening. Drinks and food were great. They were not very organized. This place is across from the local high school. Be aware that the high schoolers know some of the workers. They will use these friendships to get their drinks first before other paying customers. Said high schooler had already gotten 6 drinks even though I had paid for my drinks way before her. She had the audacity to request 4 more until I decided to speak up and have them complete my order before hers. My other 4 drinks were just sitting on the counter melting waiting for the fifth drink. They should be following the numbering system on the receipts but they haven't smoothed out the process. I only recommend going there before 11:30am or after 1:30pm. Avoid the high school crowd if you want to be serviced in a timely manner. read more

Came on opening day and expected some hysteria...and it was absolutely nuts, with a line out the door and down the sidewalk quite a ways. My fault for unknowingly coming during HS lunch hour. So I came back an hour later.... line was still out the door but I decided since I had 45 min, I'll give it a shot. They were advertising 20% off on opening day ONLY....too bad you have to sign up for their frequent flyer program to get that deal, according to the very clearly stressed man at the register, and after already waiting in line for 20 minutes and the line still going out the door and all the hysteria inside, I didn't want to make anyone behind me have to wait that much longer while I signed up for my 20% off. The checker didn't seem to want me to sign up, either. So that was a big disappointment. Then it was another 35-40 minutes to get my drink!!!! I had to tell the workers behind the counter that I was about to be late back to work and needed my order. I got it within about 15 min of complaining. Taro milk tea was tasty but I'd never wait in a line there again. I'll come here if I REALLY need a fix and don't want to drive into town. This place has potential to be great once they work out the kinks. read more

THub is amazing in all respects! Their coffee is off-the-charts great quality. No need for Starbucks when you have THub in town. The owners are friendly, attentive and work their tails off to bring this little slice of heaven to our town. I, for one, am grateful to have this fantastic gem right in the midst of MH. All coffee drinks, popcorn chicken, and samosas are personal favorites but can't wait to try out the rest of the menu. Those who complain about the wait should probably not try to hit up the only game in town right when the neighboring high school is getting out. Try them and you won't be disappointed! read more
