They built this TJ's right after I moved from the neighborhood and state! So wish it was there when I lived in Bridgewater Commons. They have a great selection of small furniture, like benches, occasional tables, shelves, chairs and outdoor patio sets. There are so many beautiful pieces in home decor, lots of kitchen gadgets in housewares, and everything you need for the bathroom and bedroom. The decorator pillows and throws are the best! Then there is the clothing section, jam packed with the latest trends and basics. As I was walking down the aisle, the mannequin caught my eye with her long brown panther duster calling out my name! I couldn't find one in the racks so I stripped her of the jacket figuring I deserved it more than her! LOL Panther prints are so on trend this season. Wore it to NYC and in every boutique I visited, the sales clerks raved about the duster. When I got home to Portland, I wore it to dinner, the theatre, shopping and got compliments everywhere. Oh, and the best part, it was $29.99 and it's machine washable. Now that's a score. As with all TJMAXX stores, don't pass up the jewelry counter. They have high end and low end with lots of nuggets hidden in the cases. If you want a fast pick me up, there are always sterling silver earrings for under $16.99. I bought a thick sterling bangle that looks like six separate bangles but is actually just one; for $70 it makes quite the statement. Checkout lines were long but as usual, I amused myself with all of the spontaneous purchases that surround the line. Picked up some "Drink Up Witches" cocktail napkins that seemed an appropriate hostess gift for the gathering I was attending that night! When I visit New Jersey, I stay with a friend in my old neighborhood. Translation - I will be back! read more

With this type of store, it's frequently hit-or-miss based upon the availability of specific items and inventory. Standard items for a discount venue, sometimes it's just fun to wander around and check out what's in the store. Staff is helpful, but at times, somewhat scarce. The lines are usually long at the checkout, so make sure that you are not in too much of a hurry!!! Happy shopping! read more

This store is great, friendly service. Great deals on clothes from last season. But, they dnt always have alot of different things in stock. They have gorgeous pocket books. A lot of top brand products. In the back they everything for your home. .amazing gorgeous candles, lamps, huge mirrors, sheets, blankets .Anything you need for a new home the def have! The staff has always been very kind to me . Its fun to pop in there just to see what they have new on the store. This season they have a ton of Under Armour apparel from last season at great prices. Watch going on the weekends because, the lines can be pretty long. From household supplies, make up, face care, purfume, finess, the site goes on. I have it 3 because a lot of times they dnt have a big section or they dnt get alot it. I definitely would say check this store out read more

I like HomeGoods, but to me when they put HomeGoods with TJ Maxx or Marshalls closer to where I live, there's really little to no selection. The only thing I could remember seeing were pillows, and bedsheets, ans some other small stuff. I would expect to find some nice home appliances as well There might have been some other stuff, but from my quick look around I didn't see anything that I really needed! read more

I have been coming here for a while it's a tj maxx and homegoods in one and always find good buys from clothes to home goods . I always have the best luck when I'm on a hunt for something for my home or something for the kids. This locations is pretty large and has a good assortment of just about everything. The line is crazy here on almost every time I come in luckily it moves fairly quickly . It's usually the ladies I see here on a mid day occasion. We love to shop read more

Unfortunately, this store doesn't allow even exchanges for defective products unless you have a receipt. We purchased gloves a couple of weeks ago as a holiday gift and they had a tear in them, as we found out when the package was opened. I do understand not providing a refund if no receipt, but an even exchange for an undamaged item should be allowable. Poor business practice to which we're not accustomed. We will shop elsewhere. read more

Well, I got to the store 15 minutes before opening and many of the "close" parking spaces were taken. Apparently, the employees take them, which somehow doesn't seem quite right to me. I don't mind walking and would prefer that my car be safe. But, now I know when I come later why I'm always parked quite some distance away. Apparently, the employees are allowed to take these spaces. Seems odd to me, but, guess it is what it is!!!!!! read more

Great selection and usual finds like other tjmaxxs that I've been to. But something has to be done about the bathroom situation it smells and it's not cleaned, there was poop today on the toilet seat and an employee came in and started gagging like the rest of us in the restroom and she said herself she is disgusted but to my knowledge didn't do anything about it. This is the 3rd time I've been here and the bathroom smelled like a sewer I know it's not only the employees fault and people are disgusting and have no class but cleanliness should be a given and someone needs to monitor the bathroom. read more

I feel like I just left a funeral. These are the most miserable employees I've seen in a long time. Not rude, mind you-just incredibly depressed and depressING. Management must be terrible here for this kind of morale. And what in the heck is going on in the back of the store?? The first time I came in 2 weeks ago, I assumed they were just re-stocking or renovating or something. But no! Once again, messy (an understatement) and half-empty shelves coupled with 2 clearance sections that make any garage sale experience feel like high -end shopping. Good God, people, clean up the store! There's a scratch and dent type section for furniture and the pieces are all stacked up on top of each other-scratched, cracked, split, broken, or just downright hideous as in turquoise or Kelly green tables. The wall art section? One lady looked at me and said, "Looks like they don't really want to sell anything!" The housewares clearance section is worse, which is hard to believe. Honestly, any one who gives this Homegoods more than 2 stars has never been to another Homegoods. On a side note, I was the only one on line and there were eight people behind the counter. Only one was working the register. ONE. Out of 8. They were all looking at me blankly while doing some menial job as if they were zombies. Finally someone sauntered over to ring me up. I love Homegoods and especially this one that has a TJ Maxx along with it. I love looking at the food and baked good sections of Homegoods. I use Tj Maxx for the jewelry and hand bags. When I need to get a gift for someone I go to Homegoods, TJ Maxx or Marshalls to get their gift. read more

This Homegoods is combined with a TJMAX , which was conveniently nice. However, the back section of the store where the Home goods is located is extremely cluttered , quite messy and unorganized. This is why I gave it three stars. If you're a person who likes for shopping to be organized, in order, and straight to the point - this store may be unsatisfying for you, has it was for me . read more

It's a BIG no for me. I love the store, but I'm tired of shopping there and getting pressured into getting one of their cards. The managers are rude and I've noticed even to their employees. Other than that the store is great but I will definitely not be shopping here again! read more

We went shopping at Tj Maxx Home Goods Sunday evening, Sept 2nd, 45 mins before closing time. We were searching for a box with cover. We found one that was really broken,: one handle missing, one fastener. Completely bent, dent all over and we could not close the top because the box was twisted. There was no price tag. It was just a simple tin box. We figured it could be useful if fixed up a little to use in a classroom. We figured we would ask the manager if it could be donated for school. Paul, the manager was more interested in getting the customers out of the store for closing time. We asked how much and he responded 12$ without any hesitation. We were shocked because of the condition of the box. We said, " oh we thought it could be donated for school". He said, " No, we don't donate anything." We were so surprised when he added, "it's already discounted." He was clearly uninterested in reconsidering the price. His tone was sarcastic and final. He was so unfriendly, that we just said" Good luck selling it". And he, said "thanks!!" in a sarcastic tone. What a disappointing experience!!!! read more

My absolute favorite store! They always have something fun and interesting when I go there. And if I am looking for clothes, they have a great variety. This is the best Homegoods I have ever been to! I went into this location a few months ago because I needed some artwork but ended up leaving with 2 end tables, artwork and a breakfast bar! I was so impressed with the friendly staff most notably Chris! He was so patient, kind and provided me with all the answers I needed! I keep running into this Homegoods every chance I get! read more

I am so extremely unhappy with this company and I will be taking my business elsewhere which is not what I want to do but I can't get over this situation. On 7/1 at the Bridgewater Store they were having difficulty with the registers, I was spending almost $200 and they decided to swipe my card again saying it wouldn't charge twice. Apparently it didn't go through both times so I was taken to another register where my card was swiped a 3rd time. It finally went through but I was assured the other transactions did not go through and was suspended. An HOUR later I left the store with my new items and sure enough I looked at my checking account online and My husband and I were charge 3 times taking almost $400 extra CASH from our Checking account. Not to mention my husband and I left a day later to travel out of the country and not many people can just say oh well I'm out of $400 until they refund me. The store said its our banks problem now and it will take up to 60 days to receive funds through our bank. Almost 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for my money because of the stores mistake but they don't really seem to care...horrible service. read more
