Really appreciated the sales associate that helped me out today.. so friendly, I even signed up for a credit card. I love Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Factory for work clothes and I still prefer those stores over Loft, but I felt that this location was clean, staff was friendly and it wasn't over-crowded at all. The fitting rooms were spacious too.

I mean, it was definitely set up to catch your eye from all the various many items for travel, even back to school inventory. The whole layout of the store was just so impressive! I have to also add how clean the store was. I live nowhere near this location, however it would be worth the drive to come back again.

I like coming during the holidays for cool toys and holiday treats. For my dogs, dog treats and chew toys, we recently bought a nice ceramic bowl for one of our pups. I love their candy selection great to stop by if going to have a movie night at home. We even found some candy we haven't seen in years. I usually have to go to the specialty store in the mall. Nice to know I can find here too. After my cart if full, it's off to the register's, never a wait when I have come in as they have many available and all self check out. The friendly staff are nearby to help if you need it. Definitely worth stopping by if you have not already been yet or to see what new stuff they have in stock each week.

This one is well organized, clean, brightly lighted, smells good, has nice and helpful employees. I'm from Manhattan, NYC. I shopped at the 34th street Macy's with my mother when I was a kid in the 1950's - 1960's. Of course nothing about any Macy's will be as good as my childhood memories of cruising the racks with my mom holding my little hand. The real draw for Macy's is to shop when there are deep discount sales. There seems to be one every season. I have literally purchased clothes at 80% discount at Macy's. I was in this store today. My wife needs swim suits for our vacation in 2 weeks. Late August there is a blow out sale on all women's swim wear. She bought 6 swim suits and a couple of cover ups. The bag full of loot cost less than $100. She paid less than $29 for suits that were originally priced at $120. So yeah, there is no cutting edge super modern fashion here. Even as an old guy I tell my wife that too much of the clothes look like grandma crap. But decent clothes at decent sale prices are here in big number. You just have to browse and pick judiciously.

The girls that work here are always very nice and helpful, I always get a dressing room set up for me right away and Torrid has the best dressing rooms ever with the fans and comfy seating. I feel like as a company they are trying harder to give us fashionable peices but they aren't cutting edge, its like a season or two behind. Crazy but true. And it might be basic, but I love The Gap. Solid construction, soft fabrics, lots of cotton. If you're having "power surges" aka hot flashes it is so important to have breathable fabric, am I right? Today I stopped at the outlet to see what was on the racks. You have to walk a ways so be prepared. Those who use mobility aids need to be aware of the cobblestone like streets that abut the sidewalks leading to your destination. The accessibility of the mall could use some improvement. There are no restrooms in stores in the outlet, but I've had the unfortunate experience of using the public facilities here and 109% do not recommend. Isolated, remote, creepy. However, on to the Gap here. They have had a nice refresh/remodel since I was here a couple years ago, but I was a bit lost at first. The new light and bright dressing rooms are an asset. Staff circulating on the sales floor were helpful and asked if I needed help or a tote to carry my try-ons several times. I tried on about 12 items and hit success with 4 so, a nice 33.3% success rate. I hit the jackpot in their clearance racks- snagged a beautiful gauze summer dress, a sky blue blue button down, a western- type denim shirt with snaps, and a super soft ringer T for a mere $4. The total with tax came to $80. They have ample seasonal selections for women, kids, and men. They also have deep discounts on non seasonal items- I saw some adorable trench and puffer coats so keep your eyes out. They offer a good selection in extended sizes- I wear an XL or XXL and they always gave ample offerings, not an afterthought. Check-out was smooth. Overall a fun little trip to get some new favorites. I don't know if they'll last as long as the raincoat from the 80's, but here's hoping!

I usually think of the stores at the outlets to be disorganized and not a great representation of the brand. I was wrong. This store gave me the same vibes I get when we are at the San Francisco store. It was kept very organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We went in for one pair of jeans. Next thing you know. I am telling my wife to bring my son over as well. 6 items later we are leaving. I couldn't have been happier. The 7th item is being shipped. They didn't have any hesitation getting the items we needed sent to us. I think we spoke to 4-5 different employees. As they were all waiting to help. The Manager Rick(?) was even there and helping people from the register to the dressing rooms. The staff seemed to really enjoy being there. The store has great pricing. Great organization and are eager to help you find what you want. Even if it needs to be ordered online.

For whatever reason, the last time I went was different and unfortunately I won't return to this store. I walked in with my daughter and wasn't greeted by either of the two employees standing next to the door, which is weird because I usually smile and say hi to the employees, so it wasn't like I was giving off bad vibes. However, the woman walking in behind me got a very enthusiastic greeting. When my daughter and I were looking around, not once did either of those employees ask if we needed assistance but they sure did ask others around us if they needed help. We weren't being rude or loud, so I'm not sure why we didn't receive any of the customer service we normally get. They didn't even acknowledge us when we walked out after purchasing some items, and we walked out of the door closest to them! I go to the the Folsom store now and the customer service there is so much better.
