I like T J Max. I bought lot of things here. And the prices are reasonable! People work there were very nice.

There was a time when Macy's, Nordstrom, Saks, etc. were about on par with each other. That time…read morehas passed. Clothing is always strewn everywhere, shelves are disorganized, and the words "neat and tidy" have no connection to this retailer. Imagine shelves of stacked shirts; someone pulls one out from the bottom, opens it up, and then shoves it back on top of the stack wadded up. No,w repeat that with the next one on the bottom, etc., and that is pretty much how the shelves are. The racks are the same, with stuff on the floors, hanging over the top of the racks, hanging by one end of a hanger, etc. Even the jewelry and watches in cases are not neat or aligned. Finding an employee here is like panning for gold in the Pacific Ocean, which is probably why nobody is around to clean things up. Finding a cashier is even more challenging than that. And when you do find an open cashier, expect silly lines. On this visit, there was a place with 3 cash registers but only 1 cashier and 9 people in line in front of us. Macy's is trying to emulate WalMart and doing a fine job. The only reason we stayed in line was that our granddaughter ate a bite of a lollipop so we needed to pay for it. We have stopped going to Macy's; this was the last time we went to one. Pretty much the only thing you find there now is store brands and clutter. You are better off going to Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, or smaller stores like Black Market, White House, Ann Taylor, Talbot's, etc. Two stars and sadness at what this brand has become.

A big Macys online shopper. Brought a pair of shoes from the website. Opened the box and Literally…read moregot one shoe. Went back to the store and at first it was an apology, and ended with store credit. Had no option for my money back. Wasn't about the money, but customer respect. Don't blame any of the sales associates, but WOW. Never had anything like this happen before with online shop through a brand like MACYS.

Sometimes called "Discount Dillards" or "Dillards Clearance" or a few more disparaging names.. one…read morething is for certain, it doesn't feel like regular Dillards. It has the feel of TJ Maxx or Marshall. That can be nice sometimes, but I personally wouldn't drive to it again. It does have a really large collection, especially of shirts and pants. I did find that the type of "look" seemed to target a different demographic, so I had trouble finding clothes that I liked. When I looked at the tags, most of the clothing was made in China though, so I'm not sure how long it will last. There were a couple of sections with actual Dillards brands, and they were nicer (in my opinion), but then the prices were more like going to the Mall, so I don't really have a need to drive there. If I lived in High Point, I'd probably visit from time to time, but it's not worth the visit from Winston.

This store had such a strong odor...like mold/dust that I could not stay very long. I could feel it…read morein my lungs and throat. I will wear a mask if I ever visit again. They had a lot of racks full of clothes. Surprisingly all of it was very neat. I rated this a 3 because it wasn't my cup of tea, but I can imagine folks who like to pick through racks of clothing would find this place a hidden gem. Plus none of the clothing were my style. I saw ladies with carts full of clothing. The store had great deals and they were loading up. It is attached to an abandoned mall so the visuals are very old and dated. There is plenty of parking and lots of room that you aren't on top of each other. Those who like to dig for treasure. Have fun exploring!
