The first replacement was bleached out old hay. The vet told me to call and get that replaced, which they did., The second time about two months later, they gave me hay that the horses wouldn't eat, so they gave me lime to put in the water that said would entice the horses to eat the hay which I refuse to do Upon the vets advicebecause I am not going to start doing artificial things with my horses they're too valuable to me. This time they gave me hay, which was mixed with straw, and indeed there is some good grass hay in the straw, but as you can see in the pictures, horses will not eat the straw and they're not supposed to. I called and spoke with the girl twice. She promised me John would call me back. He never did either day. He was tentatively supposed to come out Friday the 21st to give Give me more hay she said because now they had good day, but they never set up a specific time and never came out and again never called. Like I said, this used to be a really good company, but I'm thinking since they open Business in Elizabeth, maybe they're outgrowing their britches. I know I won't go there anymore and I highly discourage anybody else to, there is no excuse at all for somebody not to call you back, They're just not the nice family company they used to be sorry to say

We love going to feed stores for our chickens' feed and treats. But we thought the closest one was near Aspen Park. Weren't we pleasantly surprised! We got our chickens a new type of feed (made in Colorado as well!) And 5 lbs of homemade chicken scratch for way cheaper than Murdochs, Tractor Supply, or Big R! Plus, my chickens seem to love this Agland high protein feed way better than the Purina we have been getting from Murdochs. Another added benefit of shopping here is that it's all tax-free! The gentleman told me that's because it's considered agricultural. Plus, you can't beat small business customer service! The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and very informative. Two weeks later, I still do not have my mower, and no one at Tractor Supply can provide a delivery date. It could be tomorrow, next week, next month, or apparently even longer. The issue appears to be with a new delivery service called Roadie⁠, which is owned by UPS. The process seems to work like a gig-service platform where drivers accept deliveries. Unfortunately, multiple drivers have reportedly shown up without the proper flatbed equipment needed to safely transport a zero-turn mower. As a result, the delivery continues to be delayed. What is most disappointing is Tractor Supply's response. Rather than taking ownership of the problem, they simply point the finger at Roadie. Despite tying up $4,000 of my money and failing to deliver on their commitment, they have offered no meaningful resolution, compensation, or even a realistic timeline. I understand that third-party vendors can have issues, but when customers purchase from Tractor Supply, they are doing business with Tractor Supply--not Roadie. The responsibility for fulfillment ultimately belongs to the retailer. At this point, I am seriously considering canceling my order and taking my business elsewhere. If you are considering ordering large equipment from Tractor Supply, be aware that delivery may not be as straightforward or reliable as advertised. Buyer beware.

I have had the worst experiences with Wardle's and just want to warn others…read more In June 2024, as a brand new chicken owners, I bought 3 Rhode Island Red hens from them. I was not able to go into the coop with the sales associate so he just went in, grabbed whatever three hens he could get and put them in my carrier. When I got home and took them out, I noticed one could barely walk. I tried to give her some rescue 911 electrolytes in her water and access to food thinking maybe getting scooped up and put in a box and then being in a car for 15 minutes was a stress on her nervous system and she just needed some time to acclimate. I called Wardle's to tell them what happened and asked if I could switch her for another hen. The manager told me no because she could be sick... even though that meant they had just sold me a sick chicken. She struggled for weeks. We had to keep her in a separate coop and spent countless dollars on a ton of different supplements trying to figure out what was wrong with her and to keep her alive. Finally we tried Vitamin B12 and after a few days of it in her water, she able to walk normally. Although she was always a pretty sickly chicken and not even a year later we found her dead in the coop one morning (no sign of attack or any injuries). Fast forward to September of 2025. We wanted to get a few chicks to raise and integrate with our flock. Against my better judgement, we went back to Wardle's to get chicks. They only had 4 week olds and again, we weren't allowed in the room where the brooders were to pick the ones we wanted so we just told the associate how many and which breeds. We got 3 gold laced Wyandottes, a Rhode Island Red and a Barred Rock. I looked in the box and noticed one of the hens had a pretty big comb. I asked if that was normal because we definitely didn't want a rooster. They assured me it was a hen. 3 months later, our "hen" has started crowing. We can't have roosters in Lakewood so now we have to find someone to take him or cull him. It breaks my heart. Of note, since then we have ordered chicks from McMurray and Meyer's Hatchery and had really healthy, beautiful, hens. Not a single rooster. I would highly recommend ordering from a hatchery over buying any chickens from Wardle's!
