My fave TJMAXX after the Edmonds store stopped stocking any Korean sheet masks and skincare. (Boo Edmonds, BOO!!) This store was so stocked last time I was in, whoever is buying for them knows their stuff-Korean beauty is massive right now, for good reason, it's awesome! Please never stop stocking Leaders, IPKN, Dr. Jart, etc.! The American skincare here is mid to higher end too, I love shopping this store. I wish the makeup section was better but it makes the times I find a treasure hidden away that much more fun! read more

I don't like to write bad reviews and I used to like T.J. Maxx but the manager was unbelievably rude to my granddaughter. I asked the manager to help me find a price for an oven mitt and when she turned around she farted right in my granddaughter's face. Then she acted like nothing happened. I have interacted with the manager before and thought she was nice (l used to love how she called herself 'blessed') but now I realize how fake friendly she is. My granddaughter is autistic and does not express herself well which makes me wonder if the manager would have apologized if my granddaughter had been a non-autistic six year old. Last Christmas I bought everybody in my family a T.J. Maxx gift card, next year I think I will get them Ross. read more

As far as TJ Maxx's go this is one of the best I've been too. These types of stores tend to be very disorganized and you definitely have to be in the right mood to sift through racks of clothes in order to find something worth buying. That having been said...when you find something it will be a great buy. Good quality and not expensive. This store and Marshalls are the only two that really give you designer quality clothing for affordable prices. If you are in the market for jeans ( 7s, Joes, J brand, citizens) this is the place to find them for $80 or less. They also have cheap household items. I bought a set of 6 wine glasses for $12. You have to come back regularly because they get new shipments all the time. Never know what good deals you'll find! read more

It's my secret indulgence, but I love browsing and shopping here even for a few minutes anytime I have some time to myself without the kids. I've also picked up some awesome steals on boots, shoes and clothes, but especially the boots. read more

I have found some great things here as far as clothing. They have some very good deals on bras and jeans even in the regular area. The clearance can have good stuff too, if you are willing to put some time into a search. I saw the other day they even have True Religion and Seven for all Mankind jeans, which surprised me! At $100 they were still too rich for my blood, but they looked great when I tried them on, just 'cuz. The cashiers and dressing room attendants are always super nice and helpful too. I just wish their men's section was larger. read more

Had terrible customer service when paying for merchandise. The clerk rang up my item, then while I was waiting for my card to process, she turns away and says to her co-worker, "I am literally doing nothing." She comes back over after the receipt prints out, sets it on the counter and says, "There's that," and walks away. Wow. Not impressed. I guess she wasn't wrong. She WAS doing nothing. read more

I find this store often looks messy and cramped. I like the bargains though when I do manage to find something I like. However I don't appreciate the prevelence of dogs in the store that are not service dogs. Each time I've shopped there I've witnessed dogs sniffing merchanise and in one case a dog was barking at another dog. Non service dogs in public places are a lawsuit waiting to happen. I think TJ Maxx will stop this when a misbehaved dog bites someone. I hope it isn't me. I also don't think it's fair to have to shake dog hair off merchandise either. read more

Love this TJ Maxx store. I had never shopped in one of these until recently and was pleasantly surprised at their amazing home accessories section in the back, beautiful pillows, soft velvet throws, even nice kitchenware, pots & pans, wine glasses, all at affordable prices. Hair products, large section of perfumes & even found some great coach sunglasses. We will definitely be back!! read more

I used to shop at this store all the time. My purse was stolen from this store and they wouldn't let me look at the security cameras and I still shop there. But today was the last straw. I was returning a pair of shoes that I bought last week. When I purchased them, the cashier removed the security tag and the sales tag fell off. I asked if I would still be able to return the shoes if I needed to, she said no problem. Wrong. The manager was brought over and he said that the tag I presented with the shoes was the wrong one. I said that is the tag that was on the shoes when I bought them he said too bad wrong tag no return. So I paid for someone elses mistake. They treated me like a criminal. My experience at tj max was amazing. I came in with my mother who was looking for the right para of shoes. Not only did we find affordable sturdy shoes for her, but we were treated exceptionally well. Firstly we entered the line cute in the wrong direction and instead of getting scolded or eyes rolled at, we were courteously escorted to a checker. Then the check or proceeded to be so nice to us! She made eye contact she genuinely asked how we were and listened she was at multitasking the entire time she was paying attention to us and it felt so nice. I stopped to compliment her to her manager and he too was very courteous to us. Other coworkers were listening in on what I was saying about how my mom has an older person is not always treated well- they to all jumped in with listening here's an good eye contact. I'm not used to that type of customer service and a department store it was absolutely refreshing! read more

Came back today because I wanted to exchange some stuff I bought a few days ago,but before coming in I called the store to explain to them that I've lost my receipt (because i didn't wanna drive 8 miles for nothing) so the lady on the phone explained to me that since I didn't have a receipt they couldn't give me a refund but they would give me store credit,so I drove got there and I started looking for help because I needed an item in a different color so for my luck I found this "character" named "Sonia G." A coordinator (whatever that means) I asked her for help to what she replied in a snappy attitude: I am busy helping other customers!!... there was not a "I'll be right with you" or a "I'll get somebody else to help you" nothing! So either she was having a bad day and can't handle her job or perhaps living in the States now and working as a "coordinator" has gotten into her head and she feels in the top of the world and can treat people like they're not deserving of a decent customer service? Anyways she walked away; So when I finally figured out what I wanted I got in line and for my luck I noticed she was a cashier too and of course I got to go with her so I told her I was there to exchange the few things I had and she was like: I need your receipt!!! To what I told her I didn't have one, and she replied: I need a receipt or else I can't do anything!!! And I told her, I already called earlier and talked to someone and I explained everything to her and still there she was asking me for my receipt and been horrible so I finally raised my voice and said: ok lady, I didn't drive 8 miles for you to give me this unnecessary attitude, I called before showing up and the person on the phone confirmed to me that I could exchange these without a receipt! she was like I understand that but I need your drivers license or a receipt!..and I said if you needed my license you would've asked for it in the first place instead of yelling at me...so after she was done doing some bs with my lincense she gave it back and then she asked me for it again this time she started typing more bs on the computer then she gave me my receipt and walked away and left all the stuff on the counter for me to pack....there's plenty of good people out there with great customer skills that seriously need a job and is pretty obvious that Sonia G. I went to that location today and felt uncomfortable. Someone maybe the manager or an employee called seattle police to keep a close eye one me. The officer followed me as I walked out of the store after I paid for my items. The cashier that provided me service didn't want to ring up my items. She simply ignored me and waited to see if her other colleagues will take me. I didn't mind because there was another cashier that was going to help me but she was helping someone else. I watched and waited for the officer to get in his cruiser in the parking lot and I made him notice me as I walked to my vehicle. I felt him watching me walking to my car. I showed off my white 2015 lexus and he drove the other way. How dare they think that I was going to shoplift! I am asian. I've never felt this way before, chose to shop there because my kids go to the school nearby and was killing time till school was out. read more

There are wonderful bargains to be had at TJ Maxx, serious bar-gains. No surprise there, and that alone is worth five stars, but wait! There's more! The people who work there try very hard to be pleasant and helpful. I really like that and think it's an unexpected bonus. Bargain shops quite often have zilcho in the way of customer service and a surly, unengaged staff to boot. I've come to expect no service and surly when I go bargain shopping. The Northgate, Seattle TJ Maxx provides a nearly-Nordstrom experience, along with incredible quality and prices. How wonderful is that? But back to the people who work there. Today I tried on a holiday top, and in putting on/taking off, inadvertently knocked my FitBit off. I didn't realize it was gone until I got home and tried to check my steps. I called the store, and a really great guy named Jason told me that, yes, we have your hotpink fitbit, and it'll be held in the safe until you pick it up. What a great experience. read more
