I was out with my dog I called tj max to see if their dog friendly because some locations aren't . When I called they said they are dog friendly. So when I show up to the Saint Charles location this old lady started yelling and giving attitude to me and my husband saying that they don't allow dogs and to read the sign where they only allow service dogs and I told her we talked to someone on the phone and she was all like I don't who told you that but we don't . Compared to other locations, this store is very clean and organized and has a lot more inventory compared to the Bloomingdale location! I was happy to drive a few extra minutes to get here. They had more fall items and so many more candles than Bloomingdale! I will happily drive back to this spot! read more

I'm a big fan of tj Maxx and since I was in the area decided to check it out. The store is a bit smaller than I'm used to and didnt have big variety. I did find this cute cardigan though and I'm so happy I went back to get it cause I would have hated myself if i didn't get it lol. But overall the store was nice and clean and organized and seemed like you could find things easily. Would come again if I'm nearby. read more

Manager is just awful I think her names Wendy with the red hair based off the other reviews others feel the same. I went in to return a pet coat but didn't realize it was from a homegoods so she came over and very rudely said that they couldn't take it because it wasn't from tjmaxx and that she doesn't even know where I would have gotten it- I work at a combo homegoods/tj store it's common sense but not to this idiot . I was very polite at first and said oh I hadn't realized it was from a homegoods that's fine that I won't return it she continued to be rude and explain over and over that she couldnt return it. I was rude back and she seemed to get the hint and tried to be all nice asking me about my purchases, GO F URSELF you work at tjmaxx it's expected for you to do your job politely no need to shame customers for a silly mistake. Very well-organized store compared to some locations I've been to. I used to like to come here for clothes, however the clothing section has really been lacking lately. It seems like this store is slowly turning into a HomeGoods with more and more displays of candles, blankets, etc. taking over the clothing areas. read more

Clean and organized. They have great stuff. One of my experiences with staff is that they sometimes hang around for a little longer than needed at the displays I need to get to. This one employee was touching up the syrups for over 15 minutes and I just circled around the aisles nearby, waiting. Not a huge deal, just kinda weird. But oh well, I guess my tea can wait. What irks me the most is how pushy they are for you to apply for their TJ Maxxx card. I'm not sure if their manager is firing them if they don't meet a monthly goal or something, but these people refuse to take "no thank you" for an answer. It gets very annoying and awkward. If you and your friends aren't sure what to do on a Saturday night, go to TJ Maxxx, buy some stuff, and write down every time they ask if you'd like to apply for a card. When you get home, take a shot for every time they asked. LOL. read more

Hit or miss (mainly miss) as far as women's clothing IMO. I feel it looks the same every year for some reason. I usually end up purchasing something from the home section on every visit, since they have nice stuff. I absolutely dread the check out here. The merchandise is fine there, but it will be really hard for me to come back because of the experience I had at check out. I got repeatedly asked (around 5 times) if I would like to sign up for the TJ Maxx card. When I said no every time, the manager guilted me into donating, saying that it will help HER reach her sales goal, and asked why I couldn't even donate a dollar. This was extremely unprofessional and quite frankly manipulative, and I think it will be quite hard for me to come back to this location. If I do I will try to avoid being checked out by this individual. read more

Horrible management (Chris M) and staff. Don't bother going into the store the last 30 minutes before closing. Their running commentary on how much time you have left is silly. And the snide comments about some of the guests was awful. My advice: don't work retail if you make customers feel uncomfortable about being in the store during advertised hours. This is by far the best T.J. Maxx in the area. The store is always clean and the employees are so friendly. I absolutely love shopping here. Wendy who works at the front register always makes a point to say "hi" when I stop in. She is always very helpful anytime I am making a purchase or when I need to make a return. The managers and other employees are also very kind. They have a great selection of home decor, clothing, and great deals on salon brand shampoo. One of my favorite stores! read more

I usually shop in NW burbs so this location is new. At the ordinary T.J. Maxx, you see opened bottles of shampoo and nail polish that the content is drizzled on the side, you accidentally pick it up and immediately put it down. Yuck! Not here. Everything is organized and neat, my daughter (11yrs old) is even impressed. No cracked eyeshadows nor broken boxes of night cream. Not here. Overall Very pleasant and organized. You feel like a human again. Only thing I wish they had was a more shoes selection. We found a lot of cool stuff we couldn't normally find at the T.J. Maxx we go to. read more

AMAZING. All the associates are so kind and happy. The store is beautiful and clean, they have amazing prices and they have amazing stuff to buy. I looked around the store for hours.
