The Monument ranch is a simply amazing place to stay for starters and The Trappmann Saloon is a great part of what make this place come alive at night. Buck and Burt entertained us all the night we were at the Saloon and boy was it a hoot. Not only are they a great duo that played all evening, but they even took requests. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The beer was really cold and everyone was extremely friendly. There was a nice crowd of people, but not packed by any means. Some people who lived in town came out to enjoy the festivities, but mostly folks that were staying at the ranch. I would highly recommend you make a trip out to this really neat ole Saloon, even if you aren't staying at the ranch; it really is that cool!

The food was OK, just nothing to write home about. We ordered the onion rings, and you could immediately tell that these were hand battered - great flavor! We also ordered two of the burgers with fries. Although the burger patty could have used some more salt and seasoning, overall it was a good meal. The fries were perfectly cooked and reminded me of classic McDonalds fries. This is one of only 2 restaurants in a 30 mile radius and it's the only one open for dinner.
