Our early evening meal here was enjoyable. The menu explains the history of the place and the building. It looks like they were setting up for some live music later in the evening. Our server was friendly and checked in on us regularly. We got three sandwiches. One was a burger with a side salad, one the pastrami with a side salad, and a Reuben with an upgrade to onion rings. The food all tasted good. I would recommend that the kitchen makes sure the side salads are the same size. Our table had two and one was significantly smaller than the other. And we didn't get many onion rings for the additional charge of the upgrade. The meat was all tender. I would've preferred sourdough for my bread, but what they came on was ok. Overall, it was still an enjoyable meal.

We popped in Tombstone just after 5. Most shops close about 5, leaving just a few restaurants/bars open. We parked in a lot off of the main street, and walked our way in. We made our way to Big Nose Kate's, and we were seated. There is plenty to look at in this restaurant. Our server came and took our drink orders. A few of us in our party ordered food. The food came out quickly and it looked delicious. The server kept our glasses full. There a few spots in the restaurant where live music can be played, but we didn't have any of that on this visit. I have seen it on previous visits. It's a spot we'd come back to.

Fun touristy place for lunch or dinner. We sat at the bar and got the feel of the place.... Lively servers and "entertainment " everywhere. Smothered fries hit the spot for a snack. Went really well with the Bloody Mary we had to drink! Bartender was friendly and did not hesitate to offer a double shot!!! Definitely worth the stop for some local charm and laughs.

The food was good and the beer was nice and cold. We ordered pizza and wings and we were not disappointed. Hospitality was excellent! They made us feel welcomed. I recommend this to any history buff. You can feel the history in this place!

Loved this place! Live music, big ice cold beer, good food, fun atmosphere, and just an all around great time. Shout out to our fantastic waitress Leah! She was such a fun and engaging server. She took a cute pic with my son at the bar. We had the pizza, cheese burger, chili dog and chicken salad and we all enjoyed our food. The live performer was terrific! We loved that everyone was dressed in period costumes it really felt immersive. It was a bummer that the hostess covered hers with a long modern day sweater.

Sunday, 3/29/2026 - We ate at Big Nose Kate for dinner. Address is 417 E Allen St, Tombstone, AZ 85638. Cool little place. There s free parking lot about a block away. If you're lucky, you can get street parking. Servers are so sweet here. Stockton took a bunch of pictures of us in cowboys and cowgirl costumes. We tipped Stockton. He don't charge for it. He uses our camera to take it. But we get to use his costumes. Foods were just.....meh... here. But we came here for the experience.

Such great atmosphere here! Seems like Big Nose Kate's is one of the more popular spots to eat in Tombstone. They were pretty full but we were able to grab a table for some drinks. They had live music which was great and made for nice ambience. Our drinks were delicious. Sometimes they have someone there, taking western photos of anyone who wants them. Would definitely recommend stopping.

We regularly take out-of-town visitors to Tombstone, and when we do we always have lunch at Big Nose Kate's. Love the decor, the wait staff in period costumes, the live music, and they don't gouge you for the price of food. Their burgers (see photo) really are pretty good though you can only get them cooked well-done. You often see the actors for the shootout having lunch in here or coming in to stir up some business for the re-enactment. Do visit the gift shop downstairs, they have nice postcards, etc. This place does get busy, so if you visit in peak season you may want to come in during off-hours so you don't have to wait for a table.

This saloon on historic Allen Street in Tombstone served up a beautiful dining area, great service from the wait staff (in historic attire), live music, great food, reasonable prices and a full bar. Step downstairs to see the gift shop and the former janitor's mineshaft entrance. My Curly Bill's brisket dinner was served with a smile just 10 minutes after I ordered at the table. Everything was delicious, including the lean brisket and warm cornbread. Unfortunately, I was overcharged ($21.99) versus the prices posted online ($19.99) - not cool.

Atmosphere is awesome! My waitress Jasmin was dressed authenticly and cute and helpful. The food was good and very fast service. The pictures hung around the establishment where authentic and of current day dressed up locals in authentic attire for the 1800s.. so much charm and a live band after 5 o'clock. The movie "Tombstone" was being streamed nonstop in the restaurant. It's a bustling atmosphere with waiters and waitresses dressed in the 1800 era. Made it feel like a current day open live saloon. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in tombstone and recommend all of the attractions. Beautiful scenery in the area mountains, desert landscape. Can't wait to come back next year.!

Cool atmosphere, great drinks, and friendly staff. Great place to take a break from touring Tombstone, AZ. Live music was a plus. We ordered the sampler appetizer.

The vibe here is fun, the staff and waiters are all dressed up into character. There was live music when we came and some "outlaws" came in to take pictures. Food was good but not great, the Reuben and pizza were decent considering it's a touristy area. The atmosphere is better than the food, but that's to be expected. We had a great time.

Elotes that were amazing! The sauce was amazing.

Great place to stop while in Tombstone. Sw several great reviews and we decided to stop in for lunch. The Elotes and Rueben sandwich were the perfect size. The sauce and sandwich are worth the drive. I would decently recommend Big Nose Kate's when in Tombstone. PS head down to the basement to see the gift shop and the "Shaft".

I see that you have a Beyond Meat burger on your menu - that is great! I was wondering if the Beyond Meat patty can be subbed instead of the meat on any of the other style burgers? If it is subbed is there extra cost or straight across sub?

    Is Kate's pet friendly?

I would say the answer to that question is NO. I have never seen any pets in all the times I've eaten there. There is a back patio, and if pets are allowed then this would be the only place, but you have to go through the restaurant to enter it.

Freshly arrived from checking-in to our nearby hotel and thirsty from the 8-hour drive, our party decided to grab cocktails and a bite to eat somewhere along Allen Street. We quickly realized that most shops and businesses close around 5 o'clock (which was approaching), so choosing the Longhorn, with its extended hours and large menu, was a no-brainer. We started with a couple of Bloody Marys and a blooming onion appetizer. The Marys weren't particularly spicy but were well-made and traditionally garnished. For an extra charge ($5.00, I believe) you could even purchase a souvenir glass. The blooming onion was also prepared well - not greasy - and came with a tasty dipping sauce I also used on other foodstuffs later. For dinner, my wife and I split the Dunkin' Burger (with french fries) while our friends ordered the New York Steak, baked potato, and a salad. I, personally, didn't think the dipping au jus did anything for our burger since the Angus patty was flavorful and the Texas Toast was soft and crunchy, so I opted to spread some of the onion's heretofore mentioned dipping sauce on it, instead. No complaints from our friends on their steak, which was still sizzling upon presentation and came with a large dollop of garlic butter. Do note, the Longhorn charges a plate-splitting fee, but we were informed of this in advance. We waddled out stuffed and satisfied. The following morning, we found that most businesses didn't open until 10 o'clock; so, being early risers, back it was to the Longhorn for breakfast! I was really blown away by the Country Fried Angus Steak and Eggs I ordered. Hefty, thick yet tender, and topped with a rich country gravy, the steak took up the entire plate (leaving room for the eggs only on top of it all). My wife's simple order of French Toast and bacon paled in comparison, though it was equally to her liking. It was a great way to start our long-anticipated day of exploring Tombstone's shops and attractions. The restaurant's decor beckons diners to explore Tombstone's history through the period photographs, artwork, and artifacts that adorn the walls in the two main dining areas. The backlit stained-glass murals are beautiful, casting a golden glow throughout the interior, and the furnishings perfectly reinforce the town's western motif. Another praiseworthy facet of the Longhorn Restaurant is the staff. Our two servers, Melissa for dinner and Shelby for breakfast the following morning, were so sweet. Melissa, learning we had just arrived into town, offered to snap several seated photos of us, and Shelby gave us a variety of suggestions for points of interest, attractions, and events that would be taking place the day we were there. Our sincere appreciation is extended to both these friendly, hardworking ladies! In all, we really enjoyed both our visits to the Longhorn Restaurant. Prices were actually cheaper than what we anticipated in a town relying largely on tourist dollars, the food and service were on point, and the overall vibe fell right in line with what a lover of western history would expect. Thanks to all; we hope to visit you again next trip!

We have been waiting for over a year to try this exquisite gem of a restaurant in the Bisbee hamlet…read moreof Warren. Either it was closed, or our schedules didn't work. It was worth the wait, and our only regret is that we hadn't prioritized trying it sooner. Everything was magical, from the laid-back, hippie atmosphere of the street it resides on to the experience once inside the establishment. What makes this even more notable, and further enhances the experience, is the lack of similar dining establishments in deep southern Arizona. One can find fine dining in Tucson, over an hour away and far too far for a simple evening out. That's not to say there aren't decent or good restaurants in Cochise County. However, none excel in all aspects of an evening out experience, from greeting to service to the quality of the meal. We had a reservation and were seated immediately at the only table open in the restaurant. That is a plus for their table management. Within two minutes, our waiter appeared with water and bread. Expressing our joy at this proper start to the meal is impossible. In eight years of living in southern Arizona, we have often observed management and wait staff at other establishments taking five minutes or more to arrive at the table. That delay typically foreshadows a lack of basic service that follows. The bread basket featured freshly baked country bread, accompanied by a small plastic ramekin of butter. We would have enjoyed the butter served more elegantly, but that is a minor matter. The bread was excellent. We had heard that the restaurant's appetizers are a highlight and decided to try three: a fresh bacon, apple, arugula, and beet salad, Mussels Meuniere (which were specials), and Arancini. The salad was beautifully composed with just the right amount of dressing to highlight the flavors of the ingredients. The Arancini may have been the best I have ever had. Perfectly fried balls of tender risotto set in a delicious tomato sauce were an unexpected treat. The mussels, unfortunately, were the low point of the meal. Overcooked and rubbery mussels in a tepid sauce that lacked depth and flavor were a major disappointment. Still, that was the only disappointment of the evening and didn't detract from the rest of the meal. We chose two specials for our main course. My wife selected the Salmon topped with a deconstructed Clams Casino. I opted for chicken cutlets topped with eggplant and a dollop of pesto, served in a rich Roman mushroom tomato sauce. The Salmon was incredible. Perfectly cooked and nestled on a plate expertly nappeed with a sublime sauce, it alone excited the palate. But when topped with a well-made clam casino mixture, the dish became an epicurean delight. The chicken was masterfully prepared and was highlighted by the silky-textured eggplant that topped it. The Roman mushroom tomato sauce was well made, my only minor comment being that a different choice of mushrooms might have taken the dish to another level. That said, I would order it again, and probably will if it's on the menu when we return. The dessert selection had me wishing for a larger stomach. Every item on the menu and the specials board looked enticing. We settled on a Basque Cheese cake with blackberries and bananas. We could not have asked for a finer way to end the evening. Perfectly cooked, silky cheesecake in a subtle white sauce and topped with dollops of fresh whipped cream provided just the right amount of sweet and tart to end the meal. Otherwise the vibe of the space if enjoyable with its nostalgia and stuff. In the past I've ranked my experience five stars but I had to bring it down a notch. I had the meatloaf dinner and my husband had Copper(something) pasta dish. Both were lukewarm at best. The flavors were still good but it wasn't a hot dish by any means, and the meatloaf was a bit saltier than I remember. For the pasta dish, the warm bread was hotter than the pasta dish itself. We didn't send it back because I noticed the server was handling dishes returned to the kitchen at the next table, and our dishes weren't cold or anything, they were just warm. I still maintain they absolutely deserve four stars because I suspect the kitchen might have been having an off night and the food was very good (just the meatloaf was a tad salty). We really enjoyed the mushroom appetizer and the beer selection is excellent.
