I went to resolve, and trouble shoot my phone at Astoria, Steinway Queens location, customer representative I asked for his assistance, he asked if I had an insurance or contact Samsung - I explain to him I needed troubleshooting - he advised they don't do that, provided no assistant, solution, mind you I have been with T-Mobile 19yrs now and never have I feel so dismissed--felt like it was cumbersome for him to do his job and very combative --left very unhappy and unsatisfied - minutes later I decided to go to Broadway and to my avail you have 2 customer reps chatting away on the desk with no desire to assist customer _ I go and ask when will Samsung s26 ultra drop , they had no idea ,,almost like I was bothering them for being at their job---very troubling and unsettling hiring staff that have no desire or qualify to provide minimum customer service - please retrain or focus on personal who provide a better customer experience. My outcome still has no solution, going on the internet to trouble shoot my phone to work. T-Mobile you have to do better. read more

I'm not sure who to blame for this but here it goes, I received a promotion in the mail stating that if I switch companies I would be paying $55 dollars for unlimited talk text and data for 2 lines. Sounds like a great deal right? I went to the T-Mobil store on Steinway and decided to do it. Came to find out that the person singed me up for a more expensive option. $100 a month. I asked before I left weather I will get a paper confirmation or anything physical Ana he stated that due to COVID everything is paperless ( which I completely understand) so he told me to wait for an email. I had to be on the phone with at least 4 different customers service representatives in order for me to get this fixed. It's a shame how one bad worker can ruin the image of a company. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. I have been having issues with T-mobile since Thanksgiving when they double charged my credit card. Today I came into the store to hand in my old phone and activate the new one. The sales rep Myke exclaimed that he was,"on point" when I relayed how frustrated I have been with the recent service by T-mobile. It just escalated from there. His manager quietly watched his sales rep get aggressive in his tone and did not intervene once. When I asked to speak to the manager the sales rep Myke smirked and replied that the manager had been sitting there the whole time. Andy the manager steps forward with the attitude that he can't be bothered with how I feel and backed up his horrible sales rep. When I asked for everyone's names the regional manager steps out from the back room. He turned to his sales rep first to hear what was happening and why I was so upset. I cut off Myke insulted that the regional manager Juan didn't ask for my side first. Juan, the regional manager pulls me to the front of the store and starts to ask me my side of the story. While I'm voicing my grievances Myke, Andy, and a female rep start reacting and leaking in the back of the store. I can hear everything. No one was reprimanded. I have working in the service industry for 20 years. This was the worst service I have EVER GOTTEN. Reminds me of going to the DMV. The regional manager tells me that he has never gotten a complaint about his sales staff. I'm hear to complain. Truly awful experience. Follow up with T-mobile through your phone. I had an issue with transferring my number to T-mobile and i had to go through costumer service on the phone which takes forever to get a response. Anyway I decided to go to this T-mobile store to resolve the issues. I was being helped by the guy called Daniel and let me tell you this, this guy knew what he was doing. Not only he explained to me the whole process but also he called them himself to make the transfer and make sure everything was right. I was so happy that finally my problem was solved in a few minutes. If u go to this store ask for Daniel he will help you 100%. Very satisfied with the costumer service that Daniel provided. It's very hard to find a guy who can help you that quickly. Thank you so much Daniel, u saved me hours of endless costumer phone calls. read more

My bf was going to add me on his line but the way customer service works there is turning you away...he would look in the computer and answer our questions. I've came from Verizon because I've heard the costumer service at TM was outstanding. But it's not really the case. I asked for insurance for my phone, which was added by the representative working that day. Few months later I had an incident and I had to use the insurance. Guess what? No insurance. They dropped my insurance without telling me anything. The records show when it was added but never shows when it was dropped. I complained at the store and costumer care, none of them helped me in any possible way. The representative didn't know what happened. I asked to speak to a manager, he gave no attention, not even a addressed me. Rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this store to anyone. I went to the store yesterday with a problem I had with my GPS. The service representative looked at my phone briefly and insisted that I need a new phone because these phones are only meant to last 2-3 years and that's why its acting up. I told him I'm not interested in purchasing a new phone because my phone is fairly new, but he said that was the only solution. I told him that his solution doesn't make any sense and that I will get in touch with t mobil customer support for help. T mobile technical support representative was able to troubleshoot my GPS problem over the phone and solved it in about 10 minutes. I am very disappointed with the pushy salesman at this store looking to make money by selling phones instead of helping customers with existing devices. read more

Cell phone companies all suck, but the service at this place is amazing. I have never had to wait more than 5 min to get help and every time the reps try their best to help. I have never walked in the store and not been greeted right away, that makes a difference when the phone tech support ends up sucking hardcore. Christian, like most employees there is awesome. He has always gone out of his way to give the best service he can. I wish corporate would take lessons from this location as to how to treat customers. read more

I don't know why I am writing a review its not like anyone from T-Mobile will read it or do anything to improve. I have been with T-Mobile before they were T-Mobile and feel that the loyal customers that have been with them for years always get the shaft. They spend more time getting new business and not pay attention to the people that have been with them for a long time. No way to do business. The store on Steinway is ok but it has a very high turn over rate. Just when you get comfortable with one of their employees, and they know you, they are gone. I find the T-Mobile on Broadway to be more helpful, although much smaller which makes the wait a little longer. read more

I have a business account with T mobile which i opened at this store 2 years ago with Leo who is not working there any more. I currently have 6 lines and i went today with one of my employees to transfer his account from Sprint and add him to my plan. Steven helped us and asked what kind of phone we would like , he brought the device and transferred the account from sprint. After he dis that he checked my employees cell phone device and said that cannot be exchanged because it has a hair crack. As a professional Steven and Jay you should check if the device can be taken before you transfer the account. Very disappointed and i will never visit this store again. read more

I had the displeasure of dealing with a young sales representative named Christian. 1. As I was checking my bag containing two of my phones for the family plan, I found 2 $30 phone cases that Christian added in my bag without me knowing. When asked him why this was in my bag and whether they are free gifts, he answered, "I thought you nodded your head when I asked if you wanted to buy them" (which he and I both know isn't true). He then explained that he gave us 30% discounts and "it's a good deal." Then I also found random screen protectors in my bag and asked immediately for refunds on all of them. 2. Christian also insisted that my new sim cards that I ordered online from T-mobile wouldn't work and made me purchase 2 new sim cards for $10 each from the store (I learned that this isn't true after calling Tmobile and am in the process of getting my money back). 3. I learned later that many of his explanation on different phone plans were misleading, and we ended up being overcharged. To be honest, I never trusted some of the yelp reviews on bad sales reps (assumed they are all too one-sided) until I dealt with Christian's incompetency. Christian should learn that in the long-term, friendly customer services will get him more money than a few dollars of extra commissions he get as he attempts to increase his commissions. read more

The store associate Illy short for illiana is great . Her manager kelvin and her set me up with a iPhone 6 and a down payment that was affordable for me and also hooked. Me up with a. Line . This store has great service and I got my new iPhone 6 with a line of unlimited service in no time . And she explained my bill cycle really well and I am so happy I have a new phone and service . let me start with pointing out the fact that I've been a t mobile customer for 8.5 years now and have remained loyal to them through ups and downs and god and bad experiences. this recent debacle just over did it for me. I've never been particularly fond of the Authorized dealers and have only, when i had, went to the T-mobile stores. Never been a big fan of that either because they always seamed like they are only looking out for the commission they will make if they make you change something on your account. long story short please beware of this particular store. Not only that the staff is not very interested in serving you or god forbid learning a bit about the services the company they work for is providing, but they also completely misled us this time into making changes on our account that in the end resulted in having to pay $740 early termination. To make things worse. it all came from the store manager who has assured my wife that once we transfer the responsibilities from me to her nothing will change and we will be able to continue paying as we have before. Well we had an installment plan for an iPhone we got a little while ago so when we transferred "everything" to her account the balance was due on our next statement. no one ever said that this would happen and we actually repeatedly asked to make sure everything stays the same. overall total misinformation and now no one wants to work with us on this issue , so either pay up or you go to collection buddy. never again and beware of this store read more

Bait and switch. That's what they did to me. They told me I that if I left AT&T, they would pay my early termination/balance of financing a phone. They also told me that during that time, they had an iPhone promotion to make it $15 a month for an iPhone. I thought this sounded amazing and I wanted to save money because we have been going through some rough times lately. Today as I went in with my last AT&T bill which was of $288 plus tax for the early termination, the sales girl tells me that since I have the iPhone promo T-Mobile will not pay for the termination balance from AT&T. I was basically misled in order for the sales person to reach her sales goal and commission. I am currently waiting for the week to speak to the store manager Kelvin to see what resolution. We will see this week and I will definitely post an update to this craziness. read more

I haven't had any problems with T-Mobile. I have been with them now going on 2 months. They have always been very courteous. The staff at T-Mobile never placed anything extra into my bag. They are very knowledgeable about their products. I wish people would give them a chance. Other companies want you to purchase other items for your phone. But T-Mobile doesn't do that. read more

I'm not sure if this place deserves any stars @ all worst customer service ever experienced. Very dishonest about the service and plans I was inquiring about a family plan of four the manager I think Rico or Rich try to sell me things I didn't need like international calling plans. I never call outside US, he recommended I take caller ID which is additional $4/mo. When I told them I don't need thus got frustrated with me. Prior to visiting this location I did go to the 30th Ave I have already received quote a and inquired what I need. The quote was $100 lower than Steinway offered. I told them that this is the offered I got from 30th their reply was oh they are not corporate store. Here's what I think guys how low can you get we work hard for our money. Just so you wanna make commission doesn't mean you have to reap your customers off. Their customer service Is so horrible I think they use their last resort of closing by back mouthing other Tmobile stores especially the one on 30th Ave since they are so close. I didn't feel it @ this location so ended going back to 30th Ave by trade fair super market. I'm glad I did Cuz they really took care off me with free accessories as well. Avoid Steinway read more
