I tried to buy a case for my phone! There were 3 employees in the store teaching their balls and no one helped me! and when I had the cover they refused to charge me because I had to do it with a machine! I know how to do it but that system discriminates against older people or people who have disability problems, such as a blind person who cannot use the machine screen. read more

I can't say enough about how great this store is. My husband left his cell phone in Texas and we decided to do an upgrade so he could get a phone in-hand today. Did I mention it's Sunday? I've been going to this store for the last two years and have always had great customer service. As soon as you walk in they greet you and help you out. DO NOT GO TO KENYA I had been a client for over 10 yrs to this location and never had I had a problem. I walked in requiring on update I was due the girl that helped me was struggling with Info that's when Kenya stepped in. I had explained I am struggling with over $300 phone bill which also included my kids and that's without unlimited serves . If my bill would be much higher I would just stay with my phone. She pained me a miracle picture saying I couldn't come in in more perfect timing that there is new unlimited plan cheaper than my current one I get credit for trade in and my bill will be lowered by $70 and I get free ATT TV ( which BTW I never used since I was never able to connect) to make it short this was in December . Now it's end of April. My bill is higher than before and I am being charged $300 for TV. When my first bill came out higher she got it to adjust but it was only adjusted for that month after numerous text and lot of stress second got adjusted then she just won't answer my texts or answer week two later then she started to blame on Pandemic blocked me the only way I got her attention is to text from different number which took me over a month to get her attention. She said she will look into it still nothing . It has cause me so much stress and frustration. I am writing this in hope that no other will go through that and maybe someone will help me I have all the correspondence in writing. It's very upsetting that at a time when many without a job someone like Kenya takes her for granted by taking advantage Please save yourself frustration and do not go to her. My experience with AT&T has not only been limited to this store, but has been a genuinely terrible one. A detailed explanation would require a lengthy document, so I'll try and keep it as short as possible. I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with dozens of different people, most of which tell me a different story every time I call. Almost all of the employees I've interacted with on the customer loyalty line have not been well educated, unhelpful and a few have been very rude and condescending. My biggest issue, which is still not resolved, is that I signed up with AT&T around thanksgiving of 2019 with a deal that would give me a free iPhone XR 64gb as long as I signed up for an unlimited data plan. The manager I spoke to on the phone accidentally sent me the wrong phone, a 128gb, which disqualified me from the deal. So I get charged monthly for the iPhone I never wanted. I have been back and forth with their loyalty department: a few people promise me it's been taken care of and that I should receive a retroactive credit, next bill comes and my bill is still more than it should be. I call again and I'm told that there is absolutely no record of my precious conversation and nothing they can do. Try visiting a store, where another manager promises me that yes, the last person I spoke to was wrong and that it is fixed, get my bill and there's the charge! And the cycle has continued like this for over six months now. In addition to this experience, there have been several more very negative hiccups that are completely unrelated to the one I just described: false information, other charges on my bill that shouldn't be there, one woman told me I'd have zero bill for two years, the list goes on. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend AT&T to anyone interested in a wireless service. It has honesty been an absolute nightmare and 100% the worst costumer service I have ever experienced in any industry. read more

I really don't like having products pushed on me, and that is not what happened at all. The customer Service was super slow, no kind, no polite, no clue of how to manage a store with customers waiting FOREVER to get help. Disclaimer: I did not buy a phone here but the last trip to NY (I live here 3 months a year in 2 week intervals), my ceiling collapse and my Macbook Pro broke. And I lost my iPhone charger. These guys are great and friendly, never once harassing me for charging my phone until I could get to the 58th and 5th Apple Store, of which, while spectacular, I saw ENTIRELY too much my last trip! Winston is terrific. I ended up chatting with him a lot between clients and when a very imperious man complained that he couldn't get to his account (no ID except for office ID with picture), Winston handled it very well. A similar problem arose with a woman and she became downright abusive to him verbally. Still he remained cool, explaining this was the policy and he could not alter it. I haven't bought anything here but the service itself merits a shout out and if I did need to buy a non-Apple product, for which I would go to the 58th Street location which is 24 hours with among the best Genius Bars I've encountered, this is the place I'd visit. read more

I purchased 4 iPhones (2 6S and 2 6S+) from AT&T - 773 Lexington Ave -during their BOGO scam on December 24, 2016. After an entire year of going back and forth with AT&T customer "service" employees because they failed to apply any credits for the free phones to my account (and after a year of paying more than I was paying Verizon for worst service, you have no idea how stupid i feel right now) someone had the audacity to tell me this evening that the reason why the credits were never applied to my account is because the BOGO was only applicable for the iPhone 7 and 2 other non apple phones... I am still in shock as I checkout online with my 4 iPhone 8s from Verizon right now. I am not sure if possibly ruining my credit by having them send my account to collections is going to be worth it, but I will sure be finding out... read more

I lost my phone this week...I know...Silly me!! It's not so much the phone, I was concerned about replacing. It's just losing your phone can be such an inconvenience. I've been a loyal AT&T customer for many years. What always keeps me going back to this location is Calvin Yancey! He's helped me over the years with several different upgrades for me and my family. Earlier this month, I stopped in to AT&T on short notice, as my IPhone 5S completely died and needed to get a new phone immdiately. I was looking to work with Calvin, )who had the day off) and then came in contact with Jessalyn! She was absolutely amazing! When we called AT&T Customer Service, they failed to communicate some of my options, thus making me wait around for almost 2 hours. Jessalyn was very patient, attentive and maintained a positive attitude throughout the whole transaction. She explained everything to me in a very thorough manner. Not to mention, she kept her cool as there was several people waiting to be helped and all the other reps were busy. Jessalyn took the time to explain all my options not just with the service plans, but also with the accessories and features for my newly upgraded phone. I went here because my phone wasn't accepting or sending text messages. I walked in and used the sort of clunky electronic sign in thing which was probably pointless since it didn't seem like anyone else was using it. I waited a minute or so before a sales rep got off her cell phone but once she did, she was super helpful. She looked up my account and saw that AT&T never carried over my texting plan when I switched back to my old phone from a smart phone recently. She quickly fixed that and let me test it by sending a text to her cell phone and she sending one back to me. I was out of there in 5 minutes and my problem was solved. Anyone walking into this Store, be aware that they are only there to take your money!!! They'll shove some free device in your face, causing a distraction they're giving away something free, and when your trying to explain what u want, they're contradicting you, telling you that your saving money on your device on a long term contract, then find you really are not getting what u wanted and now your also not getting your upgrade deal for your iPhone either. You try and return the free device, that u really didn't want or need in the first place, they tell you, you wanted it and have to keep it or pay a restocking fee. The Manager was the worse person to deal with, made me feel not comfortable to be around or in that store ever again!! Check your receipts, before u settle on any purchases. This store is a disaster. I walked into this location for technical assistance and met with store associate, Paul. He convinced me for $5.00 more each month, I could have unlimited data on my cellphone and tablet. Sounded great, so I took it. The next few months, my bill jumped over $100. When I went back to the store, I met with a different associate as Paul was on vacation. He helped me (or thought he did) and my next bill skyrocketed, again. When I was finally able to locate Paul, he stated the wrong plan went into effect. He gave me a credit for the charges that were mistakenly placed on my bill. But my bill was still over $40.00 higher than usual. Don't do business here. read more

This place is beyond horrible for their treatment and lack of knowledge on most subjects. It seems like the only people getting assistance are foreigners who probably don't even realize the incompetence of the staff. I ordered a phone online and the website says that within an hour my order will be ready. @ hours later i called and received a bit of attitude from the staff saying "we are busy, we will get around to it when available." I asked may i give her my info to make sure it was received. She stated that it wasn't needed and will be done some time today. Sometime today?!!!!! i ordered online for faster service and instead received the opposite. I am sorry but I do not have the time to sit at your little store for an hour while you discuss chargers with out of town FOLK for an hour. I cancelled the order and found it somewhere instantly.
