BEWARE: this is a franchise location and it shows. I'm writing on behalf of my grandparents, who went in for help with their home internet. Staff refused to speak with T-Mobile corporate support, and instead pressured them to switch their phone service, confidently promising they'd get "3+ bars" at home (Corona Road area). That never happened. They had no usable service on their phones. They were also offered "free" tablets. When they tried to return everything, the store said they'd be charged $40 per box to "re-shelve" the unopened tablets. The manager wouldn't come out of her office to discuss it, and associates said there was nothing they could do. To make matters worse, the router was filed back incorrectly, so my grandparents kept getting billed for internet they couldn't use. Even after asking to close it. They ultimately had to switch their phones back to Verizon. The only bright spot: the T-Mobile store in Paso by Target (corporate-run) was kind, transparent, and actually fixed the mess. They confirmed this location is a franchise and helped resolve the outstanding issues. Our experience here was the definition of being taken advantage of, dismissed, and penalized. If you need T-Mobile help, skip this franchise and go to a corporate store (Paso by Target) instead. read more

The worst service. This morning I walk in and the store is pretty much empty except for 1 customer & 1 employee, and I can hear people laughing in the back out of site. So obviously more than one person in the back. They continue to laugh and talk loudly, out of sight. One woman out front is helping a customer. There are cameras in the store so I'm sort of waiting for someone to come out and help her / me. She obviously cannot help the customer she is working with so she walks to the back where all of the people are and asks for some help. She obviously talks to someone and they look out and see that there is more than one person she is in charge of helping and they don't come out. After that, I ask her if there is somebody in the back that may be able to help me? She looks at the cameras and looks at me and says "someone will be with you shortly". She finally finishes with the customer she was working with and comes to help me. As soon as she starts to help me the phone rings and she answers the phone and he helps that person before helping me as I'm standing right in front of her. This is customer service 101!! I hate it when someone does this!! And why didn't someone in the back answer the phone!? Geez!! Five minutes later, she starts helping me again after finishing with the person on the phone. At the same time another customer walks in the store and she greets him and says someone will be right with him, and obviously someone is watching the camera in the back and immediately comes up from the back to help this person. What the heck!? Please DO BETTER! Also, once she started to help me, it took approximately one minute to complete the needed task. So frustrating. read more

Why is t mobile charging people five dollars when they pay cash, check. or money order in reference to their monthly charges. The employee's are not doing nothing special.They're doing their job.They're getting a monthly paycheck and maybe benefits.So why the offset of five dollars?Additional for paying a bill ahead of schedule or on time. So T mobile is penalizing their customers for using cash or commonly referred to as federal reserve notes. Maybe the federal government agency regulated cell phone carriers should be notified and advised of this matter. read more

Walked in not sure if I wanted/needed/could afford a new phone. I was greeted by Chris, who let us browse around the store, letting us know to ask any questions while we looked about the store. He was extremely knowledgeable, gave us a good price on trading in my old phone, helped me transfer my phone over and even applied the screen protector I bought, which I suck at so thank you for the terrific service, Chris! Highly recommend steering clear of other T-Mobile stores and sticking with the official retailer here, it was worth the drive from SLO to not get ripped off. read more

We were there for three hours doing a complicated switch of two separate att accounts and two spectrum internet accounts to one T-Mobile account. One of our kids live out of state and that added an extra level of figuring things out. AT&T was being difficult with locked phones and their website being down. Everyone was so patient and kind and came up with the best ways to help us accomplish what we needed to. What could have been a very frustrating experience was almost fun but definitely stress free thanks to the team at the Atascadero store. read more

I was happy with this store until my order was just cancelled for no reason and my credit for my phone went from 800 to 200 for literally no reason what so ever. I personally have been a T-Mobile customer since it first started. Literally I am so angry right now because everything was a done deal supposed to be shipped ... everything our and NOtHINg So we will just pay everything off and switch after almost 18 years!!!! I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile a couple of months ago because they have excellent 5G coverage. When I went there, I was impressed by the service that I received as well as free Netflix and other perks. My iPhone would not let me login and start it this week so I took it to their store where the 2 female employees had the problem solved for me within 15 minutes. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. To top it off, their 5G network is ubiquitous. I now stream movies without pauses. read more

Somehow our watches were paired to the wrong phones. Called T-Mobile they said go into the store,so off we went. It was a gigantic mess!!! Thank God for Madeleine and Mikayla. They spent two hours making multiple calls, charging my watch when it died. The employees, starting with the manager, are woefully undertrained and mostly uninterested in being helpful, except to make a sale! They are mostly clueless on iPhone technical issues. To solve an issue not caused by me, I finally had to call 611 to get it fixed. They didn't even bother to call T-Mobile for help...I had to after they suggested I go to Apple, though it was a T-Mobile flaw. Additionally, you get a better financing deal from the Apple Store. read more

I was made to feel very comfortable despite my circumstances, and I am very appreciated of the way I was taken care of in this store even though I came in right before closing hour. Went into T-Mobile in Atascadero today trying to upgrade me iPhone. William helped me out above-and-beyond what you might expect. He was very patient, explaining everything in detail.
