I had signed…read morein as directed and after 2 hours my name was at the top of the list but didn't have a number by it. I pointed this out and the manager said that didn't matter. Well it must have because that's when people after me started to be waited upon. I went back to the manager and pointed this out and now and low and behold not having a number by my name now mattered. The excuse, "Is been a bad day". I'm certain that had not been my fault but now it was my problem. An other customer had not been started with yet and there would not have been any harm of correcting their mistake. Little did I know the mental gymnastics required could not be found at this store. What has happened to customer service, basic reasoning and pride in one's work? It shouldn't matter if you are scrubbing toilets or putting people on the moon. If you have the decency to do what's right it becomes much easier to look at your face in the mirror, your head rests a little easier on your pillow, you know you have made some else's day just a bit better and suddenly your job isn't the drudgery it had been. Just do what's right. It's the simple and small things; show up on time, smile, be curtious and be honest.
