I was trying to figure out a solution for my phone plan with a rep from this store on a phone call and we had been talking for a few minutes and he said please call back in 10 mins he was helping a customer. I am a customer too? Little frustrated because I waited to talk to a rep then he hung up..... he could have put me on hold or something other than hanging up. read more

Another couple walked in and one person said, "thank you for coming in, well be right with you." Not sure why this place only has 2 1/2 stars. That's weird. Have we all had horrible experiences with cell phones, the stores we get them in, the employees, the ridiculous bills, etc? Offfff course we have! One place that comes IMMEDIATELY to mind is AT&T on Glenwood in Boise/Garden City when we dealt with this con-man, who had long fingernails that were filthy af. Sorry, grown men with long fingernails and dirty ones on top of that...gross me out hahaha! They gross me out the way feet do hahaha! Ok whatever that part was about lol. Truth, but totally off topic lol. The guy there at the time, was the manager, Todd. We stupidly switched from t-mobile to AT&T back then because of some "deal" they had going on and we also had DirecTV at the time. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVERR!! First, friend told me, AT&T knows service in this city is horrible and because they won't add more towers. My phone was great back in NY or in Florida or ANYWHERE BUT IDAHO! It was ridiculous. Todd told us it was the best and basically conned us big time. Ima leave it at that, because this is about T-Mobile. But that intro gives you an idea of how bad they are and why we counted the days until we could switch back to T-Mobile. We finally did a couple weeks ago and we are finally rid of Todd and our almost $300 monthly bill is gone. NEVER go to a guy named Todd at Boise locations if that Todd is the manager! Instead, go to Meridians T-Mobile at The Village and look for a guy named Tomas. We met Tomas at the mall location, but his main store is Meridian. We told him all about the horrors of AT&T and of...,Todd. He immediately gave us a plan where we got everything including Netflix and it was like the bill was cut in half and then some. It was fantastic! The sh*t stain that was AT&T was now in the past or gonna be in the past. Tomas worked with literally every step of the way. If you text him, even when he's not at the store, he always replies and will help you when he can. You're never left waiting long with him. The guy is great at what he does and I can definitely see him going places with this company or any company for that matter. He just needs to stay the nice guy he is, stay humble the way he is and never forget that customers come to him for help and not to get the run around the way Todd does to basically everyone. Some of us are just quicker to pick up on who is a "good witch and who is a bad witch" hahaha! Hopefully y'all got that reference. Tomas, we can't thank you enough for helping us out. I know customers can be fn annoying as hell, I've worked with the public, but when you know how to do your job and do it well, you know how to just help the customers no matter if they are annoying or not. That's Tomas. Did that make me sound like a Karen? Jesus I hope not! Hahaha! I'm definitely not a Karen (probably something an actual Karen would say but I swear I'm not one lol) I was just trying to show that Tomas can basically deal with any type of customer. In the time we spent with him, I never once got the impression that this guy would be a dick to anyone. That takes great skill and he has it. T-Mobile, you have a great employee in Tomas. Hang on to him, treat him good, and move him up that ladder! He's deserving of it. Do people care about store appearances? Lol If they do, this store is spotless. They follow all covid crap too. So you'll be good. Plenty of hand sanitizer and whatnot available as well. It's a good spot to go to if you're with t-mobile or thinking of switching. Ok, guess that's it for me, Yelperfolkers! I switched to T-mobile and have been very pleased with the service and the online service. This store gives T-mobile a bad name. Very poor customer service. i was waiting for 1hr 30 min just speak to an associate. In that time. 3 other customers came in and left after 15-20 mins waiting. No acknowledgement of how long it would be or taking a second to see if myself or the other customers had a quick issue or an issue they could resolve by calling in to the actually helpful customer service. One associate was waiting for a phone transfer and could have at least communicated with customers waiting. I'll avoid this store as much as possible. I did get great customer service here by Cassie on a previous visit and Would give that visit 5/5 stars but the 3 other times I've been in it has been 2/5 read more

I have recently came to the store on March to buy 2 iPhone The girl selling me 2 watches and 1 iPad the girl they tell me that have to open 3 new lines on my account so so I went home I got notice from TMOBILE that I have 3 lines with don't know my 3 new number ,, I came back to the store they not take Sponsor able for their action ,, instead they say that I'm not understand that's what I signed up for ,, and then we have to return the product to cancel all the lines with all the charge for $300 restocking fee activation fee customer service fee,, they not even give me the whole money back all the return item today 6 weeks later they still not paid one of watchers ,, so good luck to you with the store read more

We went in yesterday and talked with Tomas about switching to T-Mobile. He explained the plan I wanted that matched the plan I had with my other carrier, it turned out to be a bit better. I flled Tomas today, his day off, so he called his coworkers to let them know we were on our way. Shelbie helped us to get a new iPhone 11 for my wife and switching my Galaxy S9 to them. She was very professional getting the iPhone setup so all of my wife's information transferred without an issue. My phone was a little quicker to set up for T-Mobile. The iPhone was free through their promotion. Over all I save over $30 a month compared to the other Carrier. When I gothome I had to try calling from our office where connection had been an issue, with getting connected and dropped calls. With T-Mobile it was 100% better. I made a huge mistake going to this store yesterday. Sativa messed up last time I worked with her but I thought I would give them another chance. I suspended one of my watch service lines yesterday morning and went into the store to get a new watch. I purchased the new watch and asked Sativa to add the new watch and put it in the line that was suspended and to unsuspend the line. Sativa didn't unsuspend and she created an add on line while also creating more charges. I spent over an hour with customer service to resolve it. I am SO grateful for Rick's help today! I had an absolute nightmare of spending over 5 hours on the phone with corporate yesterday, simply trying to get them to swap to a new number and keep my old number on the digits app. He helped me fix the issue with corporate in less than 30 minutes, and now I have my new number and my old number just as I requested. I was genuinely considering canceling my tmobile account after the corporate experience, but now I will continue being a loyal tmobile customer after his help. Thank you!!! read more

I do not post about companies but my experience with T-Mobile has been so awful from no follow through from customer services or the store. We have had their service for 25 days now with no service at our home. I have been told four times a manager would call me back, Rich or Rick from the store located off eagle in Meridian and he has never once called nor taken the phone when I have reached back out to the store. They were suppose to send me a cell service boosting thing to plug in to our home I have been told 3 or for times it will be in my mail and I should have it tomorrow. Now tomorrow is apparently two weeks away or ago. Well where do I start. They estimated us wrong, removed the insurance off my phone without informing me, then told me I could not have insurance cause my phone is paid off which in actuality, a day later, I found out that is a flat out lie. THEN, they gave me the wrong monthly prices for phones(I know because I headed to a different T-Mobile store where they actually seemed like they knew what they were doing). The manager here is condescending and doesn't care about what the customer says. 10/10 would never go to again. Ever. My daughter and I went into this store to set up a phone because we kept getting tranferred from department to department via the customer service line. We received no apology for our inconvenience, nor was there any understanding. We ended up having to purchase a SECOND SIM card, which almost 4 hours later, we still have no service. When we contacted the store, again, we received no sympathy whatsoever. I asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge to express my concern regarding the poor customer service, and was told no. Hands down the rudest, most arrogant, disrespectful people I have ever dealt with. The only reason these people have decent reviews is because they have people do reviews for them on Google yelp and Facebook when I said to them based on my negative experience here I will be giving them one star on all three platforms they laughed and said your one star won't add up compared to all the reviews my own family and friends do for us. They blatantly looked in my face and admitted gaming the system. They are not knowledgeable they are rude and arrogant like I said and when I met the manager I could tell exactly why. Went to tmobile to switched carriers. Steve was fantastic. Everything went with ease. Steve made it so stress free, was very knowledgeable, competent in what he does. Got our new phones and we were off..happy campers!!! Great service, helpful, great attitudes. Tmobile has the greatest rices with unlimited data and no data usage with Hotspot when on YouTube, ESPN, AND NETFLIX!!! PERFECT!!! read more

First off let me start by saying T-Mobile is a great service provider I have personally used them for over a decade and enjoy their service immensely. I went to this retail store location to switch my grandparents from Verizon. To make a long story short we were switched back and forth between two associates who lacked communication skills and knowledge. At first we were told our phones were without doubt eligible for the device buy out program, that changed after waiting over 2 hours. They also told us that our phones would work with no problems on the network, at that time in the store I personally looked up our device IMEI's and checked on the official T-Mobile website to see if they were and they site showed that 4G (big factor especially for the voice over 4G feature) was not fully supported on these devices, however they kept assuring us that the devices were fully supported. In the long run the devices were not able to receive calls from any other carrier devices and even then when I called them (from my T-Mobile device) it did not go through all the time. In the end we did come to terms to receive three credits for the devices over the course of the next three months automatically. Of course that was not the case I have had to call in every single time and jump through countless hoops in order to receive the credits. I am on month three right now and still waiting for the last credit. The assistant manager was even out there and he did not seem very competent. Before we came to the agreement they were telling us that we had to go get Verizon to port the numbers back over even though it was there fault for not fact checking what they thought they knew. I recommend not using a retail location if at all possible, they were only concerned about getting the sale, not about ensuring customer satisfaction. Don't get me wrong I still use T-Mobile and their phone customer service is excellent, but these retail locations are, from what I have been told, 3rd party locations, and they lack everything and more needed to ensure a great customer experience. read more

Absolutely the worst Tmobile retail store in Idaho. They do not know what phones talk to all the available bandwidths (iPhone 7 series does not utilize the 600Mhz radios) until you go in complaining about service, and then somehow remember and use it to sell you another phone. Upgraded my phone and without my knowledge the store associate, short guy with dark hair and glasses, signed me up for a more expensive plan with unnecessary programs, such as the in-flight texting plan. Undoubtedly used by the associate to boost their up-sell stats. Had to contact customer service to remove the additional garbage. Avoid this retail outlet at all costs. read more

I checked my account a few days later and they had added it. I had to call customer service and get it removed and argue about them prorating it since I had told them I did not want it. Terrible. Went into T Mobile to check out switching from Verizon due to all the hype from there advertising. I made the change seemed like the thing to do told them I wanted to beat or be equal to my Verizon bill they assured me no prob. Received the bill then it all started, the bill was over $60.00 a month more so I called there customer service. I spent over 3 hours on hold and talking to no avail so I went back to Verizon. Now T Mobile who took my old phone and hot spot will not pay it off to Verizon, so they have my equipment and I am stuck with a $628.00 bill. There is no transparency no copies of anything or receipts. As far as I am concerned they stole my equipment by not paying it off nor will they return it. So I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office and the FTC if it fits into there scheme of dishonesty. All they had to do was honor the amount of the bill and I would not be here. So buyer beware if it sounds to good, walk away! read more
