If the screen isn't damaged and it's just the adhesive or seal that's been compromised (resulting in the bubbles), the issue could still be linked to a manufacturing defect. Since it's not physically damaged, it seems reasonable to ask for a replacement or resolution, especially if the problem started shortly after purchase.
