I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 10 years. I walked in this location and the gentleman with the full beard asked how he could help me. i told him my phone died, it was not holding a charge and it was giving me a weird message about the charger I was using. I proceeded to tell him what type of phone and plan I had. He very nonchalantly said to me that he could not help me and kept trying to sell me a phone for $160 something. He said that he need to look at my T-Life and he said he couldn't because my phone was dead. WELL that was NOT TRUE!! The a-hole lied to me. I went to another STORE and not a headquarters and the gentleman DAS helped me out without hesitation. Mr. Bearded man, if you do not like your JOB then you should find something else!! I truly wish that yelp would allow you to leave a zero star review. I came in earlier today with my parents to assist them with making changes or possible changes to their account that they have had with T-Mobile for over 20 years we were greeted by all of the sales team that was there from what I saw there were six associates All who were assisting other customers which is fine. A gentleman walked in after my parents and I and he was also greeted. When the next sales associate was available, he walked over to the man who came in after us and started assisting him. We waited another 10 minutes still was not acknowledged by anyone further no one asked us to wait or give them an additional time to us to finish up what they were doing so we decided to leave it seems that is par for the course after looking at their other reviews. I don't understand how you have a business that is supposed to thrive on customer service and you are not able to provide common courtesy one would assume because this is a franchise location they do what they want and how they want When we called corporate, we also shared this feedback. I wish I had the names or business cards of the individuals working today so I could've listed that in my complaint to corporate. Came in for my birthday because I was buying a new phone after having an old one for so long and switching from verizon The girl at the front assured me that my bill would only be $90 and i repeatedly asked to make sure and set up auto pay They insisted that i take this mobile home internet shit with me even though i insisted that i already had wifi set up in my home and didn't need it they told me it was free and insisted on me taking it home so i was like whatever whole time their sneaky asses added it to my bill to be paid for every month! the shit is still in the box it hasn't even been opened at all. what a bunch of shady people to lie to my face after i ask a bunch of times how much my bill is gonna be and whole time you added an extra $30 to my monthly plan. I had to call customer service to get this rectified and to get my bill to the $90 it was supposed to always be at and to remove that device Word of advice is that if you want a trustworthy and seamless experience..maybe go to another location read more

Here is my review about the T-Mobile store I went to. Pros: Location is really good Cons: When I walked in there was only 1 sales person tending to the customers. I waited about 15 mins before the sales person called for her colleague to come out from the back. Here I thought it was just her by herself. It was upsetting that someone was in the back room, and only after I waited 15 mins did this person tell me she would tell the person in the back to come out and help me. The person who did help me seemed to me like she really couldn't be bothered. I didn't perceive her to be rude, nor happy. It was more like "I really don't want to be here, but I have to". She did help me accomplish what I came there to do. I gave this 2 stars for this reason. This location I believe was operated by a third party reseller, and not a corporate store. I've been to the corporate stores and the staff there were much happier in my opinion. I would recommend the corporate store location over the authorized resellers any day. read more

Sunday 3/3 at 6:10pm, I called the store and the guy who answered said they were open for another 40 minutes (the store closes at 7pm). I arrive at 6:34pm and there were 2 employees (girl and guy) sitting doing nothing behind a locked door. They wouldn't give their names or the managers name/phone number, wouldn't even call the manager. When I mentioned I called, the guy claimed he never said 40 minutes. They said systems were shut down but all lights/phones/computers were on and clearly they answered the phone. Turned down a whole $900 purchase to be lazy. Do not go here if you actually want to be helped. read more

I was reluctant to go to this store after reading some of the reviews, we went in to Verizon and I was immediately turned off by the sales person. when we got to the store there was on associate working, with in minutes Sunny came out and was friendly knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. the only reason for a 4 star review was we had to return the next day and cancel the insurance we didn't want. I was holding out on switching carriers because I REALLY disliked walking into every Verizon store I'd used over the last 21 yrs. I was shocked to find that walking into this particular T-Mobile store I was met with kind, professional, & a very helpful staff, without any pressure. They answered every one of my questions, there were no surprises, & they gave me step by step, walk through instructions after my new phone(s). Ash is the DM & was super courteous & even made me aware of deals I didn't know about before I walked in. I needed to go back today to add something & my questions were answered, & my add on done in less then 5 minutes. I'd have given the team there more stars if I could. read more

Really awful experience. I finally made the move to switch to T-mobile after being swayed by Legere's flashy commercials. Online customer support told me that the process is quick and painless......painless for T-mobile that is. Upon arriving to the North Brunswick location, we were greeted by 3 employee's who all work together to help one customer. We had to wait around 30 minutes before being helped. Although it was annoying, I completely understood that they were assisting other customers. We needed to switch 3 lines. 2 of us had unlocked phones and 1 had a locked (AT&T) iPhone. We decided to order a new iPhone (which was expected to be delivered within 5-6 days. We spoke with one mobile expert who advised that we keep the iPhone's number with AT&T that way all of us had service. We all agreed this was the way to go and explicitly asked to NOT port my mother's iPhone so she could have service. Another rep came over, took her iPhone. We explained that we did not want her number being ported over...I swear I was in a Bizzaro universe because she said 'ok' to both our family and the other T-mobile employee and proceeded to port the number over to an un-usable phone, at which time we urged her to stop. Well....too late. The rep, despite MULTIPLE times saying 'DO NOT PORT HER NUMBER' did it anyway. So we are now paying for a service we cannot use. We also don't have an active phone for my mother to use. This branch decided to call another local branch (in East Brunswick) and said they checked and they have iPhone 6s' in stock and they have it on hold. Upon driving 20 minutes, we get to T-Mobile at East Brunswick. The rep quickly knew who I was when I said we were looking for an iPhone 6s that should have been on hold, and she immediately said "I told the rep at North Brunswick that we do not have any in stock...I have no idea why she directed you here". This is when it started to hit me and the panic sunk in "Is this seriously the service I just signed up for when I had my precious AT&T?" I can't believe a t-mobile rep, despite asking and explaining to not port one user's number, did so anyway, then lied about having an iPhone in stock. The resolution was ordering an iPhone 6s...and for the East Brunswick store to activate an iPhone 7 in the meantime and for us to return it without a re-stock fee (we shall see how that goes). Overall, a horrible way to start our T-mobile venture...and based on my experience, I might be switching back to AT&T but also reccomended others to not go to T-Mobile... Our plans are completely jumbled and the order of how we opened our account was out in the system all wrong so i've been charged inaccurately and have 2 other phone lines (?) on my bill that no one can explain. Why are all tmobile stores the same?! Please complete basic training. read more

Went in the store while there were no customers did not get immediately greeted because the employees were engaged in their conversation about religion. Finally someone came over I explained I wanted to just get a cheap phone for an immediate need so I asked about the Revvl, he was not attentive to my needs he just immediately said the Revvl was a garbage phone. I explained again then he interrupted me and went back to his religious conversation. After they disagreed on their religous beliefs the guy comes back to me and asked "so what was you saying?" I told him don't worry about it and walked out the store. The employees were more interested their conversation than making sale maybe cuz I was only looking to buy a "garbage" phone. I'll go to another store and give them the commission instead. read more

This store sucks so bad!! Manager and Manager's wife is horribly unprofessional. They are running a business and don't even know how to do it! They treat customers bad, they are only seeking to do some sales when honestly what sometimes we customers go is for help and they always offering something with a purpose of not working for customers. I had two friends that were working in that location and they left so disgusted towards this girl Maria, she is so unprofessional and also her husband. They never payed my friend their comission, they stayed with the money and also never payed them the hours, so unprofessional i swear this people shouldn't even have a vending license at firsts. Also a plus is that this girl when i tried to talk to her she didn't even know how to respond or do nothing, the whole time she was speaking spanish and asking questions to her husband, her english is not quite good and she had to be asking the whole time to her husband what she could do to help me. I guess she never received training just because of the fact that she is married to this dude that's running this place. But honestly, never coming back, is the nearest tmobile to my house and i have to go to the one in French Street because they do treat people nicely, totally don't recomend this store to anybody.
