We visited the East Peoria Verizon Store on May 3rd to fixed an iPhone voice message problem on my…read moredad's iPhone 6. He went to the Verizon store in Morton the week prior after blog and Apple FAQ fixes didn't work. My dad was told by the Morton location that over 200 customers have visited their store with the same issue. My dad was told it's a known bug and a fix would be pushed to his iPhone overnight. He left his phone plugged in with automatic updates set, but still no one could leave him a vm a week later. I suggested we try the EP store despite the old 1 star reviews. Marquise helped us. He was amazing!! He was engaged as we explained the issue, was patient, and knew exactly how to fix my dad's iPhone bug in 5 minutes. Marquise is the kindest and brightest technician that has ever helped me. It's too bad for me that I'm just visiting from Silicon Valley (5 miles from Apple's headquarters), but lucky for you if you're a Verizon customer in Central Illinois. Go to the Verizon EP store on Camp St and ask for Marquise! Read on if you have a late model iPhone to which people get a "mailbox is full" message when they call you... If you've deleted your voice messages from your visual vm and have taken the extra step to "clear all" messages from your deleted messages screen, and people still can't leave a message, you will need to call your voicemail. Remember how to do that before you had a smartphone? It's been so long I didn't. Go to "contacts" from the phone app and search for "voicemail". You'll need to remember your 4 digit PIN number. My dad recalled over 5. None of them worked, so Marquise helped him unlock his account and reset his PIN. Once you're in voicemail, you'll need to clear your messages manually. Even though clearing all messages from the deleted messages screen should clear vm's from the server, it won't if you're a choice few with the nasty little vm bug. This workaround should work. If not, remember -- see Marquise! Best wishes!

We met with Linda. She spent so much time talking about herself that she forgot (or something- I'm…read morenot sure what) to order the phone that we came to the store to buy. We waited six days and the phone never showed up. Three calls to Verizon Customer "Service" (Hahahaha) netted three different answers (and a hang up) so we just made due with the phones we had. They lost a $1,000 on us because she never ordered the phone.

"Verizon Bills Dead People" My cousin died in January 2023,…read moreand I became the executor of his estate in July. He was a Verizon customer, with his bills paid directly from his checking account. After he died, his gf had his phone but misplaced it. As a result, I had no idea who was his wireless carrier. When I closed his financial accounts in August, Verizon stopped getting paid. They emailed my deceased cousin - no response (thank god!) - so they finally wrote him and I learned he had Verizon service. I called them, explained he had died seven months earlier. They said they were "sorry for my loss" and the bill would be taken under consideration. Meanwhile, Verizon bills continued to arrive with more late fees. I then went to the Verizon store on Pioneer Parkway, supplied them with a death certificate and court documents. After an hour, they said they had it sorted out and the bill was "taken care of." One month later, another Verizon bill arrived - with more late fees. When I called Verizon corporate, I was told to go to a Verizon corporate store and show them a death certificate/court documents to get the charges waived. (Apparently, doing this at the Pioneer Parkway store didn't count - had to be a corporate store) so I went to the Verizon store on Sheridan with my documents. The response at the Sheridan store was (paraphrasing): "No. Verizon supplied the service so you owe us that." I tried to explain the service had not been used for seven months because I wasn't aware of the service, but I was stopped and told again "you have to pay this bill, that's all there is. Is there anything else?" Wherever my late cousin is , I hope he enjoyed his seven months of non-service from Verizon. The moral: If you are a Verizon customer, don't die.

Just literally picked my phone up from this this morning paid 131.96 for a new screen there is…read morelight coming out of the side of the screen I took it back in same day I picked it up mind you and they told me it was fine when we gave it to you obviously not cus I literally put my SIM card back in it seen the screen coming out of the case and brought it here......said nothing they can do unless I wanna pay more money and I should probably just buy a good case to cover the sides up this is literally crazy if u arnt going to fix my phone like I paid for I should get a refund n also was told the new screen I just paid for had a whole year warranty.....so why would I have to pay more money for you to fix what I just showed u was t right when I picked the phone up from being fixed only 4 hours ago..... Update The owner or I'm assuming owner's husband since the website says it's locally female owned did reach out but basically from his emails admitted to not doing what he usually does to repair the screen in the first place and took a shortcut because they didn't have what they usually get in stock also he gave me my phone back the same exact day that he put the new screen on and from what I've read online you're supposed to let a phone sit for 24 to 48 hours so the adhesive can set properly and again blamed a bench frame on something I did when I could see Mark's on the side of my phone that weren't there before I took it to him like they were having trouble getting the old screen out and been at themselves I requested a refund of at least the cost besides the screen since yes my screen is intact but coming up out of the phone with light coming out from all around the sides of it so therefore it's not properly functioning it's supposed to sit down in the phone I'm just not comfortable letting them touch my phone again there's no miscommunication when I went in there the first time no mention of making it right was ever discussed The only thing talked about was how I must have did something to it it was fine when they gave it to me and I would have to pay more money even though it included a warranty I was not contacting until after I posted a negative review I honestly wish I would have read the reviews before I went there
