0/5 Stars - Extremely Disappointing Experience I strongly recommend avoiding this location due to the numerous mistakes, misinformation, and lack of customer service I experienced. I initially visited this store to open a new line and purchase a new phone, which was completed unsuccessfully. My partner, however, was already a T-Mobile customer and only wanted to upgrade her existing phone. Despite us clearly stating more than 10 times that we did not want to open a new line, the employee proceeded to create an entirely new line anyway. During the transaction, I noticed that the trade-in information appeared incorrect. Instead of showing the expected trade-in value, the system displayed a TCL tablet valued at only $40. When I questioned this, the employee repeatedly assured us that it was simply a "system glitch" and that everything would automatically correct itself. It never did. No trade-in credit was applied, and I ended up paying nearly $600 out of pocket that day. Before leaving, we specifically asked multiple times whether the pricing, trade-in credit, and account details would be corrected. We were repeatedly promised that everything would update properly. Unfortunately, that never happened. Two days later, I returned for assistance setting up my new phone. I had previously been told that the store would help transfer my data and move my number to the new device. The employee assisting me seemed unfamiliar with the transfer process and was unable to properly initiate it. In fact, I had to explain how to start the phone-to-phone transfer myself. Ultimately, she only helped me sign into my Apple ID and assured me that the rest of my data would transfer within 24 hours. A week later, nothing had transferred. I eventually visited another T-Mobile location, where the staff immediately identified several errors made by this store. Because of those mistakes, I was forced to return the phone and purchase another one. In the span of three days, I spent approximately $1,500 dealing with issues that should never have occurred in the first place. To make matters worse, when I returned to speak with a manager, I was told the manager was unavailable. At no point was I able to get meaningful assistance or accountability from management. Overall, the employees appeared poorly trained, provided inaccurate information, and made costly mistakes that resulted in significant inconvenience and financial loss. This experience ended up costing me close to $2,000 and countless hours of frustration. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

Ok I'm in a t mobile store, I go get cash and come back guy tells me "all of these are free " I said yeah ok, I don't want them. He then says it will just show up as a line on my bill, I told him I DEFINITELY DONT WANT THEM. & IF I SEE THEM ON MY BILL IT WILL BE AN ISSUE. This will be the second time that I am going to praise an employee at this location! Her name is Fiorella and she is delightful! Not only did she work with me during my latest phone issue, she was also actively helping other associates who were helping customers independently. Best part, I NEVER felt like my problem was NOT being handled. She sat with me, patiently, for well over an hour and continued to work on my phone issues without stopping even once. She is just a delight to deal with as she takes her job seriously and works until there is a form of resolution. I LOVE this store, because all the workers her have the same, GET IT DONE, mentality! This T-Mobile store is full of crooks. Trust me. They tell you something is "free" and it's a lie. It's free as long as you have a 24 month payment plan. They add extra things to your bill while helping you and you'll not even know until you get the cellular bill. They even do not give you all pages of the print out that shows the terms and conditions of whatever it is they sold you. Do not go here. They tell you you have to speak to the manger, but "Vernice" is never around. She does not return calls and she avoids people. Hiding in the back of the store. He's costing me $617 because he mistakenly sold me two different promotions. And told me not to turn in my old phone. After I spoke with him yesterday, he told me he would get with his regional manager and call me back today, I made him promise me he'd call. Sure enough, nothing. So I had been to this location once before to get my husband a new phone and had a great experience. Fast forward to when my son dropped and broke his screen. Please keep in mind I've been with T-Mobile about 20 years. We arrive about 3:45 on a Thursday afternoon. As soon as we walk in we are greeted. This is for the required one star. It goes south from there. We are told they couldn't help. When we had questions the tech would just say honestly, I don't know. So he tells us since we have the insurance on the phone we have to go to the 75th Ave and Thomas location. It is the only store in the greater Phoenix area that does repairs using the Assurant warranty. So we drive to the Thomas location in rush hour traffic. We walk in and are asked, do you have an appointment? Uh no, we didn't know we had to have an appointment. The 19th and Northern store sent us here. So we proceed to go to the t-mobile website to make the appointment and file the claim. A half hour later the website will not allow an appointment be made. Sigh. The gentleman that was helping has gotten a pizza delivered and is MIA. So we tell another tech it won't allow us to pick this location for the $30 screen repair. Imagine our surprise that they don't have the parts to make a repair. Nothing available within a 100 mile radius. He tells us to call the 1-800 number. Another sigh. Call the 1-800 number. They send us to the MetroCenter 28th Dr. location. Basically where we started from. This location also does repairs along with another store again much closer than the store we were sent too. Long story short the Northern store sent us on a wild goose chase. All he had to do was tell us to call Assurant. The 28th Dr. location hooked us up with a new phone within minutes. And when we received it in the mail literally took 30 minutes to transfer service and extract data. read more

I had a terrible time trying to get a phone for my grandson, who lives in another state. I was on chat for hours yesterday, choosing the phone and setting up shipping and payment. There was an issue with payment; the system didn't like the card or billing address. After all that I was told to go to a TMobile store. So I went to the store closest to my house, and they were busy and grouchy, the staff was. The customers all looked depressed. I left and went to the store at 1810 W Northern. Great experience! I was greeted immediately by a friendly and all around nice guy named Tigi. He seemed to really enjoy his job? He straightened things out for me and made some suggestions on how to get a phone to my grandson sooner, and with less hassle. He made appropriate calls to get my card accepted by the system. I wasn't in there long at all. The other customers in the store actually looked happy, too. It's getting harder to get friendly and helpful service in the current job market. Jobs are so plentiful that many employees act as though they are doing me a great favor by coming to work. So it was amazing to be waited on by someone who seemed to enjoy helping his customers! read more

I went in to exchange my broken gateway for a new one and I was already in a foul mood. Odell was the only person working and he received the brunt of my frustration which he was quickly able to deescalate the situation with kindness and empathy. 2 other customers came in while he was helping me and assured them he would be with them shortly (I felt so bad for him since he was the only one there)... he was able to get me a new gateway faster than I was expecting and was the nicest person to me. Worst location ever they do fraudulent stuff I went in to just get a pricing for a upgrade(7/21/22) left with 2 lines added to my account (without my authorization) and when I noticed it I go back in to the store(7/23/22) I'm told that they would automatically fall off it was temporary fast forward to a week later(7/30/22) the lines are still on my account so I called customer service they informed me that I need to go back down to the store and have this taken care of so I am back in the store(7/30/22) they do some thing on the computer they tell me none of the lines are active there's nothing for me to worry about I'm not being billed for these lines and they promise that they will fall off my account and there's nothing for me to worry about so I leave again two days later I'm checking my account(my bill is due)(8/1/22)there's three more lines added so now I have a total of five lines added to my account that I have no access to I have no phones for I have no contract for my bill is due it's showing $400 dollars when I'm only supposed to pay $160 a month so once again I'm on the phone with T-Mobile they informed me that none of these lines are active but one and there is a cell phone connected to it and there has been use on it so this location has activated a line under my account added a phone to this line and was using this phone I eventually found a T-Mobile in-store sales person who is amazing at her job got on the phone with T-Mobile and got every line taken off of my account right then and there with no problem be careful going to this location guys they will mess you over and up and if you do go have the Young Girl/Woman help you she is the only female in there read more

I would give a 0 star if I could. We went there to add one line and purchase a new phone. The sales person (ID ending with 363) told us there were promos: 1. Buy iPhone 14 Pro get Apple Watch free & 2. Upgrade to iPhone 14 Pro and get $840 (yes, he confirmed that the exact amount we would get back after we asked a few times to confirm) on top of regular trading value. We decided to buy one new phone, get the apple watch SE and upgrade current phone to iPhone 14 Pro. And here were we scammed: - We got charged for 4x activation fees that we weren't even aware of - We got charged by the accessory that we didn't even buy - We got charged for the watch that supposed to be free - We got upgraded to the most expensive plan that we didn't agree - We got 2 new lines added to the account without us knowing - He claimed he couldn't print us invoice since its not allowed to and had to send email which we never received We went back to the store and he said its not his fault. AVOID--the staff here are fundamentally dishonest. Wanted to switch to t-mobile from Verizon but unsure which plan best. Was dishonestly offered discounts from their online rates which swayed the choice. Given past Verizon problems wanted confirmation I would actually get these rates--was shown the order screen on their tablet, and pointed to code they dishonestly said was for our discount--it was actually just for the autopay discount. (can document this) When promised rate did not appear online they dishonestly insisted it wouldn't show up until 2nd billing cycles. Store manager (Mike) fully backed up the lies of the initial sales person (Devon). Cost of this dishonesty is $240/year. Most neighborhood stores are contracted out to third parties. If you want honest service use a T-Mobile corporate location. Corporate T-mobile staff admitted this type of dishonest sales practices by third party stores is not uncommon. read more

I had issues with my sons initial sync up watch and had to reorder one by placing a claim. The claim representative provided me the option to ship it at the closest store to me. I had called a T-mobile representative ahead of time to confirm the watch was received in store and spoke to an associate from the store as well who informed me I'd have to wait to pick up the watch for a manager to "scan it out." Once I arrived at the store today, I was questioned on who I spoke to and told they didn't have any watch for me and that it must of been sent back ( I asked what the hold time was as the item had been delivered as of September 1st and they didn't provide a respond. I also wasn't offered to take a watch that was in stock but I was asked "to contain" my 3 and 2 year old from running around despite them not damaging any items or the only other customer in store. This all happened while I tried to speak to a T-Mobile representative on the phone to confirm what they saw for my order status as well. Employees are not thorough and rude; they never asked for my name or primary phone number either. I will not be returning here again. Thank you for nothing. read more

We added 2 new lines to our plan and purchased 2 new phones for those lines with a promo that involved turning our old phone in for a new phone. Without our knowledge, the sales person added 2 additional lines on top of what we already purchased. Additionally, the sales person was not interested in completing the line transfer from AT&T. He told us it would take about 2 business days and to go home and bring our old phone back to the store so they can process the return and the promo. After 3 days, the line was not transferred to the new phone. I called T Mobile directly and they informed me it was never started. They completed the transfer in 10 minutes. I brought the old phone back to the store for the promo trade in. The manager informed me they don't process trade-ins after the "original transaction" closed. I would have to contact T Mobile to see if we were eligible for the promo. These clowns at this store have cost me nearly $1200 because of the lost promo. I DO NOT recommend this store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is the 19th ave and Northern location. The tall skinny salesman with the dark curly hair and the glasses is absolutely useless and he lies. read more

I was very disappointed on 10/12 when I visited this store. I have had T-mobile since it was Voicestream. I have never had an issues until this day. I walked in and the store was busy, which is fine. Until i looked at the young lady in the corner staring at me and not acknowledging that I need help. She didn't even say hello. This is not the service I expect from this location. Bought a new phoen, I had a problem with it after 3 weeks. The tmobile store They could not do anything for me. I went to the store and they called the 1800 number for me to talk to customer service. Then they decided to replace the brand new phone with a refurbished phone. I had a 50 dollar screen protection. The manager could not give me the screen protection replacement. Called customer service same responce. If you get your phone from Sam's club you will save tons of money. If you go to Costco you will save tons of money. This protection plan between 15 and 20 dollars a month. You get the same plan from Costco for 80 dollars one time payment for the lifetime of the pbone. equals 500 dollars from tmobile for 2 years. If your phone go bad costco return policy is 1 month. If you go to Walmart you buy all accessories half the price and you get the same equal service tomobile store provide so why pay extra. "Welcome to t-mobile.........." "Hi...........everyone." I said. Yea, awkward. 5 people with nothing to do said welcome before I even had the chance to say hello. I looked around at all of them before deciding on one person to talk to that was standing at the desk. I only had one question that I needed an answer for. I had recently purchased a phone used, and this phone was locked. "Can you help me unlock this phone?". Their response? "If you figure out how to unlock a t-mobile phone, let me know" Really. Really. You work at the t-mobile store, and this is your answer. I'm a customer, with a t-mobile phone, who just asked simple question. You could've said: "No, we cannot unlock a phone that has been locked." Instead, you give me some smart-ass answer that not only wastes my time, but makes you look like an unprofessional, uneducated douchebag. Right after this response to my question, the next guy decided to ask me how much I paid for the used phone. Really. Again. Worst customer service I've experienced at a T-Mobile store. Which is a shame, because T-Mobile is an awesome company with amazing coverage! I walked in to add a line, and only one other customer was in the store. The other rep not helping that customer was on his personal cell phone for five minutes, smiling and laughing, completely ignoring me while I stood there waiting. After he got off the phone, he stood there smiling at his phone and continuing to ignore me. Two other reps came in while I stood there and also ignored me, while laughing and talking together. We were ignored for about 15 minutes, then we told the tmobile guy our phone worked fine, but our sim card gave an error message once in a while. He put in a new sim card and then the phone wouldn't work at all. He told us too bad, we need to buy a new phone. What? ? It worked fine when we walked in, and then he told us our sim reader was "jacked" and the only solution was to buy a new phone. I went in to switch my plan from pre-paid to post-paid and obviously keep the same phone number. Since my S8+ had dual sim capability I informed Jayme not to change my sim cards positions. Well, not only did he changed that but also changed my phone number. That is when I lost all my contacts and the phone was configured wrong and I could only have 2/3G speeds. What a mess! I went back in three times before I could retrieve my original number. Also, Jayme ran I hard credit check on me without telling me or asking me. Mind you I have been with T-Mobile for the last three years. He actually lied to me and later informed that it was a soft credit check. Bottom line: inefficient, rude, and a liar.
