I just purchased an iphone, ipad and was completely sold items that I cannot merge to my own devices. Angelina was rude and became very agitated when my husband and I were asking her questions. Basically said to me either you want the items or you don't. She told me that I would be able to sync my device to by mac and even the manager which came over, without any introduction. She asked if she could go and work with someone else. We have been with Verizon, Cellular One, AllTel and have several lines for over 30 years. I am appalled and feel like an absolute fool - She did not explain the transfer, walked away and seemed perturbed that I was asking any question. I switched from AT&T based on clear promises made by Kim, the sales representative. When those promises were not honored and I returned for help, she insinuated that I was lying, repeatedly insisting she was right and I was wrong instead of attempting to resolve the issue or take responsibility. Manager Luis was equally unhelpful. Rather than addressing the situation or advocating for the customer, he offered no real solution, no accountability, and no follow-through. The interaction felt dismissive and one-sided. The priority here is obvious: make the sale, collect the commission, and move on. Unfortunately, this Verizon location was not helpful. I went in to trade in my IPhone 13 and was quickly told I couldn't, so I ended up purchasing a very overpriced I-Phone 14. I ended up having buyers remorse after this purchase so I went to a different Verizon location to return the over priced phone. This is when I found out I could get a trade in! After returning the phone, the team was able to help me get a brand new I-Phone 16 completely covered by our phone plan. They even helped me upgrade my family's plan to save an extra $35/month! Would not help me with my new Galaxy Z flip 6 that I bought from them 2 days prior. I also purchased the Insurance that covers any kind of damage. New phone has a Defective LED screen/bleeding. Verizon Home Protection Plan via - Asurion. I put a claim in on my IWatch S6. Well, let me tell you. They like to play a game when they dont want to replace an item. NO where in the literature does it say "reimbursement" for an item. It only says, "We have you covered for replacement or repair." They are offering me ~$97.00 for my watch. We have called and they tell us "if we dont have a replacement in stock, an automated email goes out because some people dont want to wait." However, here is the way it really works. If you make a claim and they dont want to replace it, you have to keep responding to a specific email, log in, get a verification code and hope they have a replacement. You will have to keep doing this hoping they "have some in stock." They will try to wear you down so that you take the money. I have been a Verizon and Asurion customer for over 30 years. I have had up to 4 people on my plan, IPADS and now home internet. I retire soon and will dump Verizon all together. read more

My wife and I got duped by 2 sales representatives (One of their names is Joe) on July 21, 2022 in reference to trying the 5G Home Internet for 30 days. The box arrived on July 25, 2022 and we tried it for a week. The service sucked because the signal strength was not good. We reached out to customer service somewhere around August 2nd or 3rd to discuss this issue. The tech initiated support and we were only picking up 17 to 18 mbps. That is no strength at all. So she canceled the service and stated that she was sending out a return label and box via mail. We thank her and ended the call. On August 6, 2022, we received a $80 that was decreased to $59.35 and then decreased to $20.65 (all reflected in the same bill)!!! We were not even close to 30 days AND it was canceled. I called and got bounced around to 5 representatives, although I asked to speak to a supervisor. None of the 4 were able to help with the invalid billing issue. I got hung up on twice and I had to call back. The 5th person stated that he was and to support and that the issue was the system automatically printed out that we owed even though we were within the 30 day trial period. He stated that he saw that service was canceled and he was going to fix the bill right then and there. He stated it was zero balance. He said that he was sending a box and return label and it would take 3 to 5 days to reach me. We thanked him kindly and hung up. Well... today, August 11, 2022, we received a bill The bill states that we owe $20.65 for this month and a unpaid balance of $80 for last month. Really???? Oh and the return box and label gas yet to come. I don't mind being told there are restrictions due to covid, it's the way they do it. Three times I have dropped by there with a simple question, so it isn't based on just one occasion. One day they will once again open for general customer service. The question is how many people like me will have written them off by that time. Overall, Verizon used to be known for their excellent customer service. Even before Covid, overall, it was going down hill. One of the reasons I have stayed with them is their excellent spam filter. My wife was on Verizon, I was on AT&T, and we wanted to get on a family plan and upgrade to new iPhones. When we visited this location shortly after they opened a security guard out front told us to stand outside and wait for a salesperson to come out to help us. After standing outside for ten minutes someone came out and told us they had an hour and a half long wait before someone could help us, so we went back to the car to regroup. I pulled up the next closest Verizon store over on 44th Street and tried calling them to see if they could help us sooner. When you call the store, it routes to a call center where they told me they had to do the transaction over the phone. When I told them that my wife doesn't know which iPhone she wants yet because she wants to see the sizes in person to compare, the call center rep said they can schedule an appointment at the nearest store. They put me on hold, then came back to say they have me scheduled for the exact same store we just visited and we could walk in right now and give them my name and number and they'd be available. Feeling jerked around, I just called AT&T on Camelback and 20th. Call went right through to the actual store and I talked directly with a rep. He said to come on over and he'd take care of us. We walked in, asked for him by name, she picked out her phone, and he got us all set up in less than an hour. Super friendly, no waiting, and an all around great experience at AT&T. I would not recommend this Verizon store. If you know what you want, maybe their call center could be a good experience for you, but definitely don't try visiting the store. I signed up for a new business plan with verizon wireless at the end of July 2022. I got 2 new phones and 1 mobile hotspot, I traded in two old phones, the hotspot and the 2 new phones came out to FREE based on trade in and current promotions for new accounts. My first bill came in very high, in the $300 range, it should be around $174/mo ($70 each line, $20 for hotspot and $7insurance per phone) I reached out to the store manager and they tried to correct it, after over 30 days of talking to the manager he pushed me off to the regional manager Adam Millbrandt. For the past 4 months he has been making excuses and has not correct the billing on my account. I have been forced to pay the high bill so my phone would not be turned off. now it's been about 6 months of me paying the wrong bill with zero help. I want a refund of overpayments, as well as a corrected billing going forward. Finish the job, this is very unprofessional.
