I've been with Verizon for over twenty years and have never received the high quality service I received from this young man. He worked with me and took care of other customers at the same time. Usually, it's been my experience that after the sale is complete, customer service comes to an abrupt halt. He is patient, knowledgeable, humble and friendly. He helps with technical issues, and explains them in a way I can understand. I would put him in the category as a super-exceptional employee and should be acknowledged. What does this mean to you? Less integrity in regards to customer service issues and a greater chance for customer dissatisfaction, which is exactly what happened to me. If you never received your high school degree and want to manage your own retail store, I'm sure the owners of this franchise will be more than happy to hire you without an interview apparently. Why do I say this? The manager on duty when I visited this store appeared to have recently had a lobotomy (or something similar to it). He didn't know anything about anything. Constantly on the phone with other stores to find the answers to customers' questions, this manager was in serious need of some real training. I actually felt sorry for him. Maybe he's more proficient now, but he wasn't then and that's a true reflection of the leadership involved with this store. Finally, I don't even know why one would bother walking into this closet-sized store. It's too small to provide the selection one deserves when patronizing Verizon. Compared to the corporate-owned stores, this one doesn't even come close. Why bother? Sorry Verizon. There's always a few bad apples in every bushel and this is one of them. Good luck.

I did find another store that would service iPhone8's but their price was substantially higher than the price at Batteries Plus MONDAY - Scheduled an appointment for replacement of a battery in an iPhone. Got an email confirming my appointment. I arrived at the appointed time and was told that they didn't have a technician on Monday and couldn't do the battery replacement. In their defense (at least partially), they did try calling an hour before my appointment but their call was blocked by my call-blocking software. Warning - don't rely on their email confirmations. TUESDAY - I made an appointment and returned the next day. The technician (assistant manager) was prepared and had the replacement battery at the counter - ready to install. He said the installation would take 30-45 minutes. I returned 45 minutes later and the installation was complete. Very satisfied with their service Friendly staff, good service, fair price.
