Since my phone carrier doesn't have an international plan, I was told by a travel agent that T-Mobile worked well in Great Britain. So I went to the store in Whitehall, PA and all the young men working there were very friendly and professional. We were told by one of the guys to go ahead and purchase an unlocked phone and come back (we found one much cheaper than one at the T-Mobile store) and they would set us up with a 30-day international calling plan so we could call our loved ones in the U.S. while we traveled. So I went to Best Buy and purchased a name brand "unlocked" smart phone for $110 and went back to the T-Mobile shop. Another young man waited on me and reviewed the plan I wanted but wasn't sure how to set it up so he went to the manager. The manager told me they could only use a phone that had a prior T-Mobile account on it, and furthermore, they "don't have those kinds of plans," even though the first young man showed me the 4 or 5 plans during our first visit to the store. So I drove to the store twice in one day, spending about 3 hours and 40 miles of driving and $110 to not have my need fulfilled. So, it seems there is a serious lack of training which will prevent me from considering using or recommending T-Mobile in the future. read more

You will be held hostage if you want to leave, lol. You will have to pay an extra monthly fee on top of another fee to leave your TMobile plan. I was paying $230 for two phones one bought at TMobile and one bought at Apple. Their monthly payment fluctuates from 10-20 dollars more. Don't go to TMobile find another carrier. Also these people will play in your face and tell you you're getting a better deal then you get charged 200+ more than expected. read more

We just had the best experience at this store. Give Tia a raise and some recognition! My Dad has been having the worst issues with his phone, for months, and we went there today and got everything fixed and resolved. Tia was incredible, and made the experience so easy. She immediately identified the issue with the phone, a virus, removed all of the issues and set up like a brand new phone. I was so relieved and he couldn't be happier. But above all else, she made it great. And we felt guilty walking out of there not paying for anything. She made the process and experience so unbelievably great. Thank you! read more
