I've used Ed since an ice storm in 1996 knocked out the phones in my telemarketing center. Ed set…read moreup new lines for us so we were the only ones in our building with service. Another time he ran data lines through abandon pipes under our warehouse so we could connect the buildings without having to add more wires. Ultimately, using the deserted pipes underground, Ed replaced all of our lines with high speed data lines so we ran at over 200 mbps which was unheard of 10 years ago. As the wireless world has evolved, so has Ed's company. We are very data driven and Ed has always stayed ahead of the technology and upgraded us to new software and systems through the years. We were one of the first companies to go totally wireless and this ultimately ended up saving us a lot of money on monthly bills. Ed has done work for us for over 20 years and they always answer the phone, they always send someone right out and they always let us know what our costs will be. They are as fine a vendor as we deal with and I have to add that Ed does a significant amount of work, pro bono, for Hartford homeless shelters and soup kitchens. He has never mentioned that part of his business to us (I'll bet to anyone). He is that kind of man.

He's always on time, reliable and most importantly trustworthy! We always recommend him to all of our customers. He's become not only our phone guy but a customer and part of our family! Be very careful at this store! I went in really just wanting to purchase a newer phone. The bugs…read morewith my older phone were starting to get really problematic, even with regular updates. So, my goal was to get a newer phone and to get my information backed up and transferred. I was paired with Ashley. And I want to say this ahead of time. She is very knowledgeable about the Apple product line. However, where this became very problematic is that she didn't really seem to want to share that knowledge with me. Every time I asked a question, she would roll her eyes and sigh at me, like a spoiled teenager, sometimes not even answering. Being a generation older than her, just about every response was met with the attitude of yes, why don't you know this? Her customer service skills could've used a lot of work. Specifically, soft skills. Also, I didn't sign up for being there over THREE HOURS to get all of this done. She kept trying to upsell me different Apple products to me. I had to say several times that I really just wanted to get a new phone and get everything transferred there and get to my other errands. And because she had my phone and was running into problems with backing it up, which she only explained to me after she started doing the process , I was stuck there with this unpleasant person for the better part of the afternoon. It was incredibly awkward and she seemed disrespectful. Before I went there, I was paying on average about $90 a month for everything I needed with my phone. By the time I was leaving, aside from the phone itself as EVERYTHING WAS SOLD SEPARATE SEPARATELY, I am now in the hole for over $200 a month. And, she was annoyed because she wasn't going get some kind of employee commission because I was not linking this to my bank account but rather my credit card. No chance in h*ll I was going to let them do that. Every moment I was trying to check out, she kept mentioning and pushing about trying to get my home on their Internet service as well. Totally not interested! Yeah, right. Like I really wanted to be linked to dealing with these people if anything came up in the future. Shop cautiously if you go here.

Then the manager interrupted us and was abruptly with the process of trade. He tried to sell me a Samsung watch. I said no thanks. Then he went behind me and the associate began to look for something wrong with my galaxy. It had a small plastic on the side missing. Glass was fine. All of a sudden my refund didn't exist. What a scam. The company should be ashamed. I am a senior citizen. Even if I wasn't they should not do that. The manager was nasty. How to improve get rid of your manager and your nasty policy if some one has a good phone to return then your company should give the person a break. Your making billions.

Five week later, we had our bill, the phone were only half off. Approached the rep about the issue, he later determined that the full discount only applied if we traded in our old phones. Asked him if we could do it then, he said no, but he'd have his boss call me. No call. I called his boss, he'd never heard of the issue, but he'd be calling me back in two day. Left several messages, no call back. Advised TMO corporate, they TOO promised a call back, but no call back. I don't need stuff to be free, but if a company offers me value, they better deliver. The Costco kiosh is managed by the Padanaran store in Danbury.
