Yesterday I went in to purchase a IPhone 17 Pro. ( I came in another time recently to purchase it, about a month ago . The sales associate that was helping me , picked up a call, from his personal cellphone , he answered it , " hello sweetheart " and proceeded to have a full blown conversation . I walked away not making a purchase. His behavior showed he had no regard for me as a customer. ) However the manager and a sales associate , were disrespectful, rude and bullies. First the manager talked to me like he was in a street corner. Using slang, like "let's get real" and moving his hands like a street thug. The dilemma was he and a sales associate were making assumptions about my IPhone 17 Pro Purchase . They made the assumption, I was purchasing it to return it . I and my husband , have been Verizon customers for 25 years . We never returned a phone, we didn't even know that was an option. To the dismay and disappointment of these street smart thug( s) Verizon employees. Not everyone is raised on a street corner to know the street wise hustles . ( However it was very informative for my husband and I ). The manager after accusing I of this behavior despite never meeting me. The manager kept going with his accusation ; and said " Let's get real, if I was a Verizon customer, I would do the same ". I was dumbfounded and speechless. I only wished I was so street smart to know this in all honestly. The manager then said , In a bully manner and tone . " If you return the IPhone, I don't care , just not in my store because it doesn't look good for my store ". He then went in the back with another manager or sales associate to an office with no door. ( 2.) Then when I went to pay the taxes on the IPhone 17 Pro , they said they didn't take cash ( despite listed on their website , it says they do ). I went home , since I own property near this store, in chestnuthill to get my debit card . I came back, the same sales associate was with customers. He didn't bother to look up or greet me . I walked into the store to see if anyone could help me . The manager and sales associate were in the back in a room that has no door . Saying how great the store improved ,since he started managing the store . They stood in the back talking about how great the numbers in the store were and how great they are, big egos . Despite knowing I and another customer needed help . (The door chimes ,when customers enter , they could have cared less about us customers). With only ,one sales associate on the floor . I proceeded to wait for my turn. I flagged down Josh a sales associate , to help me, as he walked in, from the back door . He helped me to the bear minimum. Sold me the IPhone, then ran to the back office with the door closed. (With a film on the door ,that does not allow you to see inside). I needed help and he ran away . This is the most horrific customer service experience, I had in my 25 years with Verizon . This store does not care about the customer. It only cares about their numbers, and store position . This was so adamantly depicted by my experience. It's also like a street wise thug all boys club . (The only woman being an older lady Marie that normally helps me , and acts like a professional woman not a street thug.) I am flabbergasted by my experience and sad . I live near this store it's my neighborhood Verizon Store. I am a Proudly Afro Colombian woman. The manager is a minority to condone his behavior he might turn it into a race thing. I assure you not at all . This is a horrible nightmarish customer service experience at this store . I also reported this to the better business bureau, Verizon and other reviewer sites . I was looking to upgrade my phone since my iPhone 13 wasn't really capturing good quality pictures…read more The last time I went to an Apple store was when I got the iPhone 13, so I had to refresh my memory on the process and appreciated that someone was checking in on me as I was setting up the new phone and transferring all the data. I got the 17 (about $800) and so far it's working well, although I've noticed the battery already drains a bit faster than when I initially had my brand new iPhone 13 (battery had lasted 2 days). I hope it'll at least last me the 4 years or so that was my previous phone's lifespan. During the same visit, I was able to take a few classes on using the camera and video features which was nice. You can find out what classes are scheduled in the Apple Store app. Trading in my old phone was also a seamless process. Finally, I had an Apple watch query and was able to do a tech support (Genius Bar) walk-in appointment which I did some of the above activities during the 30 minute wait for the appointment. Some of the staff members were more helpful and engaged than others, but for the most part everyone was very enthusiastic and supportive. The customer service is quite personalized, professional, and 1 on 1, except when you get the occasional staff member who starts helping other customers because they don't know how to help with your issue and before your issue has been resolved, and then you're stuck waiting for them/someone to be available to close the loop on your issue because none of the other staff members look/acknowledge you. That said, the Genius Bar staff (shout out to Terrance) were amazing! It felt very collaborative, and I was able to be helped more efficiently. Overall, my time was well spent, and I trust this place to deliver good service and products and know which person to avoid.

**1 Star -- Absolutely the Worst Customer Service I've Ever Experienced**…read more I'm currently in the middle of an incredibly frustrating experience with Xfinity and felt compelled to share. A landscaper accidentally cut my cable line -- which wasn't even buried properly by Xfinity in the first place -- and now I have no internet. You'd think reporting something like that would be simple. Nope. There is **no** way to reach a live person by phone. The app and online support only connect you to a virtual assistant that has no option for reporting a cut wire. It just keeps sending you in circles about troubleshooting your modem, which is useless if your actual line is severed. I ended up having to report it under "tripping hazard" just to try to get someone to acknowledge the issue. Ridiculous. I've now spent over **two hours** trying to get help -- no luck. No live chat, no person to talk to, and I'm still waiting on a promised text "confirming" my issue has been received. All I want is for someone to schedule a tech to come fix a physical cable that was cut because it wasn't buried properly. If you value your time, your sanity, or actual human support, stay far away from Xfinity. This has been nothing short of a nightmare.

He was able to diagnose the issue as being Face ID (which he fixed) and then that there was a camera issue. With a battery added this fix was less than what Apple quoted for the "motherboard." I appreciated that he was happy he could fix it (I was happy too). ** This business is on the lower level at 212 Sumner Street (just beyond Lee's Burgers) at Newton Centre. The sign is easy to miss (I only saw it on my visit to pick up my phone), so I wanted to flag that they are still at that location. I am very satisfied and have already mentioned MiPhone Doctor to another family member. I love a good origin story - the owner is an engineer by background who got into this after learning to fix his own iphone rather than paying what he thought were exorbitant prices at that time. They wouldn't accept the job since the console had been opened in the past citing 'liability' concerns. The receptionist was rude and condescending during the encounter. This was a trial run as I planned on giving them a lot of console work in the future but I will be going elsewhere. I called another repair shop shortly after and they said they would take the job no problem and were able to essentially diagnose the problem over the phone (a solution consistent with that I explained over the phone). Perhaps Replay'd should adjust their policies and their attitude towards potential customers as they never know what opportunities may be lying on the other line.
