This was the worst experience I could ever imagine having with T-Mobile. I walked in there to get my grandfather a new phone. He had a old galaxy and we wanted to get him the new iPhone 16. Gregg is the one that took care of us. He tried to charge us to the max after we told him we would get phone cases and screen protectors, and blocks at target he gave us a attitude and was disrespectful. When we got home, we tried to use the phone and it would not work at all. He did not transfer it or anything now we have to go out of our way to go back up to T-Mobile to find help and to transfer the galaxy to the iPhone again because he did not take the time and do it the right way the first time. read more

This review is for their customer service. I came with my mom who is a customer of TMobile. I am not. Ok. So I came in here with my mom yesterday to finally get her to upgrade. It was Saturday afternoon and there was about 6 employees and no customers. weird huh? Anyway, my mom was helped immediately. I can't remember her name, but she showed my mom everything she wanted (mom already knew she wanted an 1phone7 plus). Also, mom doesn't sync any of her phones, so she had to get them to transfer everything there on the spot and the whole process probably took about 30 minutes. I am very impressed. I dealt with Tmobile years ago (yes, this location) and I had the worst customer experience. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars was the fact that they turn my 4 year old away from using their bathroom. I mean, we did buy an iPhone from them, and come one, he's 4! Here you check in and they ask you to wait outside until it's your turn due to covid precautions. I Ubered to this location so I had no choice but to wait but the experience I had over all at this location made it worth the wait and it's located near a Ross, Marshall's, tj maxx and the greenbrier mall. Ever since I moved back to Chesapeake this is my go to T-mobile to pay my cell phone bill and so forth. This T-mobile is located in the Greenbrier shopping center right in front of Greenbrier Mall by Total Wine and Lifeway Christian Store. This location is pretty big compared to the other T-mobile stores I've been to the area. They have lots of demo devices to play with before you purchase the ones you like. They also have tons of Accessories to choose from for you device. Plus they sell other stuff not just phones, they sell tablets, audio, linelinks, screen projectors, and more. T-mobile has really been stepping up! They have an Awesome team of workers that are very accommodating in whatever you need. The managers there is very helpful as well, they'll help you in any way possible. You've got to love the carrier wars underway in this country. T-Mobile launched the first salvo with its uncarrier movement and along with Google's Project Fi they have completely changed the industry to the benefit of the consumer. When T-Mobile CEO John Legere announced their new lower price point ($100 for two unlimited lines including taxes and fees) along with improved video and tethering policies and increased speed for international data, I knew it was time for me to make the magenta move. I was an AT&T customer for many years. I was happy with the coverage and service but I was paying way too much for what I was getting so I switched to Verizon. That didn't last long, after only four months I was having service issues that Verizon Customer Service was trying to help me with but ultimately they could not deliver what I needed. I headed to the nearest corporate T-Mobile store in Greenbrier to check out the deal. The T-Mobile store is located in Crossways Shopping Center across the street from the mall. It's not in the shopping center proper but in the middle of an outlying complex nearer to Greenbrier Parkway that houses Total Wine & More on one end and LifeWay Christian Store on the other. Free parking is plentiful in the shopping center so no worries there. Upon entering you will find a clean, clutter-free environment with displays of phones, tablets, accessories, etc... tastefully placed throughout the room. As my wife and I entered I observed three associates engaged with customers. Even though they were all busy everyone managed to look up and greet us. I appreciate that there are a few small cushioned benches in the store so we did not have to stand while waiting. It seems most wireless stores these days do not have seating for who knows what reasons so I was very thankful my wife had a place to sit as she has trouble standing for long periods. We didn't have to wait long until Jessica was free and asked how she could help us. I had some general questions as well as a few technical ones and some concerns which she was able to answer to my satisfaction. Jessica was friendly and personable throughout the process. She made us feel comfortable and set us at ease as she explained the program, the process and the perquisites (got to love T-Mobile Tuesdays). We were bringing our own unlocked phones (iPhone 6s Plus for my wife and my Nexus 6P) so once the decision was made it was just a matter of popping in a couple new sim cards and porting our numbers. There was a little paperwork then we were on our way having spent only about twenty minutes total in the store. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at this T-Mobile store and the service we got from Jessica. Her smile and energy were infectious and it was apparent she enjoys her job and is good at it. It's been less than a week but so far I am very pleased with my decision to go all in with Magenta. There are a few places where I had better coverage with Verizon or AT&T but overall I have superior coverage in areas I frequent with T-Mobile. If you haven't looked at T-Mobile lately give them some consideration, their network has come a very long way in the past year and is getting better every day. read more

I have T-Mobile home internet, but not phone service. The internet is great, but an issue occurred about whether or not I had an account set up properly, I was not able to use the app on my phone, and auto pay wasn't working for me. All of this is because I set it up online, had I done it in a store, they would have done it for me. Live and learn! I visited another local store (Battlefield Blvd, which I gave a 1 star review here) and that was awful. Today I went to the Crossways Blvd store and when I tell you these people FIXED EVERYTHING for me, in less than 20 minutes! Kenzie is the BEST. She listened to me, knew what I needed to get done, and flew thru the whole process. She's sweet, kind, personable and KNOWLEDGEABLE! She knows her stuff! Problem solved in 20 minutes or less, and I was on my way home, and I now I can log into my T-Mobile account without a problem! GIVE KENZIE A RAISE!! read more

I had a bad experience with Cox and figured out a way to get wifi without using them and hence my trip to this location. Angela was helping me and I have to say she was very friendly and helpful and the reason I gave T mobile 5 stars. Does it suck that thy are busy and you have to wait yes but it doesn't suck when you get great service. I've have had bad experiences at other T stores but not here. read more

I tried to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile in Oct 2020. What a disaster. I had 6 phones and after switching the SIM cards in all of the phones I couldn't get any reception in my apartment or the entire complex. I have was really upset after the 5 hours on the phone trying to get the reception. I finally cancelled and today is Dec 22, 2020 and still fighting to get my money back. 192.33 I visited several T-Mobile stores in the 2 months to rectify this and every time I was given a different answer. 1. You will receive a credit on your Debit card 2. You will get a credit back into your checking Account which I had to supply to them because they don't keep my Debit card info once I cancelled 3. No you won't get a refund. We keep the first months because you did have an account even though it was only for a few hours. 4. You will get a pre-paid card in the mail in 5-7 business days. I want cash not a pre-paid card. A letter is going to corporate office. This company merged with Sprint. What a joke. G Allen read more

The manager at this location is the rudest employee I have ever encountered. I had a major issue with my new phone. I was a previous T-Mobile customer that switched to AT&T October 25th. It has been a nightmare ever since. Started off with the employee at the battlefield location which was new messing up my number being ported. So it seemed like I had 2 phones under 2 numbers. (Which was incorrect). Loyalty at 611 recommended me to go to this store since the battlefield location currently has nobody that can assist me due to employee shortage. I told that to the manager at this location and he crossed his arms and huffed saying "i know them and they do have a manager." As I was trying to explain my situation he cut me off after every word I said and told me to call 611 back. I I'm getting the run around between the phone and the manager on duty. It was about an hour until closing so they knew it would go past closing time if they were to help me. I told him to call the other location and see for himself that they sent me here since they know each other so we'll! I'm absolutely stunned that this is how they try to help a brand new AT&T customer. At this point I am ready to pay my phone off and go to a different company once again for having terrible customer service. read more

I am not a tech person nor do I care about having the latest and greatest, just want something that does what I need it to reliably. the lady who helped us took the time to explain the differences and what would best suit my needs, along with transferring all of my old photos and contact list from my old phone. She knew her stuff, answered all of my questions without being pushy, and had me out the door quicker than I expected. Let me start by saying how horrible this place is. Josh Jenkins helped my husband and I when we were deciding to switch providers. Josh told us how t-moble would be paying off our cancellation fees and as soon as we receive our final bill, bring it to him, so we did. This was towards the ending of October 2015 and it is now March 7th, 2016 and we finally received the mastercard to pay it off. It normally takes about 6 to 8 weeks from the time you bring your final bill in, however, it took longer than that. I had to call T-Moble customer service at least three times to figure out what the delay was and apparently Mr. Josh did not submit the paperwork correctly. My cancellation charge was $975.20 but we only received $723.20 from T-Moble to go towards the cancellation. I called customer service yet again and one of the gentlemen who helped me pretty much told me that Josh did not give me correct information as to the total amount we would be receiving from them to pay off our cancellation fee. My husband and I traded in our old phones and the amount we received for the trade in value was deducted from the total amount we would be receiving on the mastercard. Josh also told us that T-Moble would be giving us ten percent military discount but yet again more false information. He told us our bill would be about $50 but he failed to mention that there was going to be an additional charge for the device itself. We went into T-Moble hoping to get a cheaper plan compared to our previous provider yet we find ourselves paying more than what we were paying in the first place. This place need to train their staff and make sure they know what they are doing and up to date with information before they get more bad reviews. People, please do your research before coming here so you don't get screwed like we did. T-Moble also need to train Josh or fire him and hire someone who knows what they are doing because this is not right. read more
