Switching from another carrier- the staff were mostly knowledgeable about products and services with some gaps. Managers on duty seemed attentive and eager to ensure satisfaction. We had several visits to date and overall while there were some hiccups they seemed eager to help us. We will report back in a few months if everything went as planned and if they delivered on the promises. Only complaint, every time you enter the store you have to wait. On Saturday, 11/9/24, my phone unexpectedly stopped working. I couldn't send or receive calls or texts, and the IMEI was locked. I used a different phone to contact TM support. The story is too lengthy to detail here, but I spoke with three different support representatives over three days and received three different explanations as to why this issue was happening. On yesterday, I visited a TM store in a nearby city, but the experience there was subpar at best. Frustrated, I decided to try once more and went to the TM store in Allen, TX, today, 11/14/24. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by David. His calm demeanor and insightful questions put me at ease right away. He checked me in, took time to understand my situation, and started working on it immediately. After a bit, he asked a few more clarifying questions, made a call, and even suggested a few alternative solutions in case the main fix didn't work out. Ultimately, he got it done! David was outstanding! If you ever need to visit a TM store, the Allen location is the place to go if you're looking for a genuine, service-driven experience. Specifically, seek out David--he'll go above and beyond to help you. Thanks, David, you're the best! I also want to mention Robert, the Store Manager. He was touching my BRAND NEW PHONE with his dirty, wet fingers with spit on them, and he was watching YouTube videos on his phone while i was waiting, staring right at him while he was lazily staring right at his dirty phone. He was not wearing proper clothes, HUGE SAGGY PANTS, and a HUGE SHIRT. He should not be hired. Who even hired him anyway? HE SHOULD BE FIRED. My husband and I have been Tmobile customers for 23 years. We have updated and purchased a plethora of cell phones in that time frame. Our daughter came over with her new Galaxy Z Fold 4 she got with no money down and convinced us to upgrade our phones. We went to the Tmobile store in Allen TX and were greeted in a condescending manner by 2 men who acted like they didn't want to talk to us. They told us 2 phones would be $1200 each and we would have to pay $700 each for a down payment. We asked for an explanation as to why the down payment was so high. The response was "I don't know, it just is". We felt this was a very insulting response for 23 year faithful customers. There were two assistant managers in the front that were hesitant to greet and acted as if I interrupted there conversation. The store was barely busy and they said they could not help me with a simple screen protector replacement that comes with my plan and told me I would have to wait 20-30 minutes for a rep to free up for something that takes only 2 minutes max. This is not the fault of the store but the false advertising that T-Mobile is continuing to perpetrate on the public. The advertise their price is a "lock in rate". It is not. I had a "locked in rate" several years ago with automatic payment from me credit card. A few months ago T-Mobile decided to charge an extra 15% unless I switched to a debit card. This T-Mobile store on Stacy Rd generally provides excellent customer service whenever I've visited. They always acknowledge and greet their customers with a smile. The representatives are good with letting you know that they'll be with you shortly. In the past few months, I had to go in twice due to problems with my iPhone. One of the guys, checked to see if my phone's iOS was updated which they believed could resolve the issue. Well it didn't so they referred me to the Apple store. I found this to be an inconvenience since I have insurance on my phone and got this phone just last year. Apparently the new policy is to have all iPhones checked by Apple before possibly replacing it. At any rate, this store deserves a 4 star for its exceptional customer service since they do try to help. However, I was expecting a resolution with my phone at the store so I'm a bit disappointed. As a long time AT&T Customer, I was concerned about the service quality. T-Mobile has the best deals (from what I can tell) when it comes to monthly billing simplicity and price. After making the switch, all I can say is Awesome. Service has been great and the LTE network is on par with my WiFi speed. Haven't had any dropped calls or hiccups in any way. I walked into the T-Mobile with little hope........ My original plan had been to purchase a IPhone 8 or X from Best Buy. However, when I got there they ended up not having any in stock. Disappointed, I decided to give T-mobile a chance but sure enough, the pricing was more than I had at the time to spend. Luckily as I was looking at the IPhone pricing, the store manager, Moe, approached me and asked if he could help me find anything. I explained my situation and surprisingly he said " No problem man, I'm sure we can find something for you , lemme finish with this customer and I'll give you a call to come back into the store. Sure enough about 15 min later he called me in and proceeded to work around my budget by looking at their current store promotions. They ended up having a crazy good promotion which allowed me to get an iPhone 11, one generation up then what I was expecting :), as well as a $300 credit which went towards a Apple Watch SE!! This was easily the best service I have ever received when it comes to phone carriers, because I can confidently say from experience that none of the other phone carriers would have even given me the day of light more than likely. Plus the actual phone service and data is actually better than I expected as well. With all that said, I highly recommend my local T-Mobile!!! read more
