Terrible customer service from Hugo, who didn't know what to do, and with no help from their bald-headed supervisor (I dont know his name), they made the simple act of turning in a phone for a recent upgrade a complicated issue. When we called the T-Mobile customer service line, a supervisor confirmed that they dropped the ball and could've handled EVERYTHING in the store. I'll stick to Valley Central Way. I've been going to that store for years and never had a single problem. The guys at the L & 10th West store are totally incompetent and seem to not want to do more than the bare minimum. This store already has low stars and it shows why. From the moment we walked in a gentleman said hello and what brings you in. We explained the nature of our visit and the gentleman seemed to be bothered by us sitting on his chair and asking questions that were answered in our initial nature of our visit when he asked what would bring us in. If I could give more stars I would! The customer service has changed and it was a must needed change! I was help by Jose and he was amazing at his service, I would highly recommend him to anyone from here on. He was highly prepared and got straight to the point. I've always felt with people who were unprepared and they always had to step away from where I was to get what they needed, but Jose was ready and looked like he was on a mission to sell. (Sounds corny I know but I was amazed) There was an incident that occurred but it was quickly resolved the next day between Jose and the manager Homer I'm thankful that they both helped me with the problem and they made it possible for me to have an amazing Christmas. Extremely competent and friendly and they didn't look at me weird when I brought in my unlocked Blackberry Key 2 to be set up today. I have had two previous Blackberrys and when I would take them in to other T Mobile stores they would act like it was a foreign object of some kind. But I think it has gotten easier to set these up and this was a breeze. They did not charge me anything as they just moved my SIM over and I brought my own new memory card. I switched from Verizon to T-mobile taking T-mobile up on the "Free Iphone on Us" program. I turned in my 11 Pro Max, that was fully paid for in exchange for the Pro 12. I was told repeatly, that I only had to pay the taxes on the phone. Lies! Of the $1K credited for the phone purchase, T-mobile took $400.00 for a so-called activation fee for the "Free I-Phone"! Never in my life I have ever paid $400 to activate a phone. Then when I called 611 to address the issue I was told to go into the store. I went into the store and they apologized for not explaining the full program. Total hogwash...Just know that if you get the free I phone, it will cost you $400 which isn't free....Shame on them for the deceptive tactics! read more

Due to no other T-Mobile store having air pods in stock I decided to give them a call, after 4 years the service is still the same. They answered the phone told me to hold a second we will check our inventory, 9 minutes later nobody came back to the phone to answer my question I had to hang up. This location has and I guess always will lack customer service skills. Once again they have let me done and guess that's it I'll never deal with them again. I was trying to import my current phone number from Sprint to T-Mobile. I went several times to try to get this process done. The first time was before Thanksgiving. The store was very busy. They asked that I call Spirit costumer service which I did. I was on hold for a very long time. I actually ended up leaving. I returned about a week later. I did reach out to Sprint. I was told that all I had to do was to go to the store and select my phone. Upon arrival I was assisted by Kris. I explained what I wanted to do and what I had done and what I was told to do. Kris said he had previously worked at Sprint and what I wanted to do was impossible. He did take the time to call sprint. Instead he suggested that I call and he would assist me after wards. In the meantime he proceeded to assist others. Never checked on me to get an update. Bottom line Kris had no interest in trying to help me solve my issue of importing my number. I had broken my phone the other day at work so I decided to go in and see about a new phone it was a great experience they had a tent outside for you to wait under as they are practicing social distancing and a limit of people inside. They took down my name and phone number and said if I wanted to wait in my car to get out of the heat and they would text me when it was my turn to come in, so I did. This nice lady Christina actually came to my car and got all my info and ran it for me I thought that was pretty cool of her. I came in on 10/30/23 trying to switch my service I was greeted by Adam who had previously help my mom . He got us going and add it to my moms line after he had the switch going he approach another co worker to finish up he's work because he was going to the back. The following day we come to realize he put our numbers in opposite phones and here we are another trip to T-Mobile where it took another 2 hours to fix he's issue. I came back to T-Mobile for a 3rd time on 11/6/23 to return some items where we where told by another T-Mobile employee that he didn't even activate our watch lines and he charged us for a item that we didn't even get plus he told us they don't do activation after 5pm and their was a customer their getting activation at 7pm! My iPhone stopped working and since we had the insurance we are covered. Called costumer service they helped us out quickly got a new phone over the mail! All we had to do is trade in my old phone to get the replacement at the store since it was still covered by the insurance since we placed the order before getting my new phone. When we get to this store we where told the order was not completed... we called in 1 week ago and confirmed 3 times they had already taken the money.. how could our order not be confirmed? We where also told we had to go fix the phone to the apple store(which is an hour away from us) so we can trade it in.. what's the point of the insurance? We where told over the phone we just had to pick it up nothing about fixing it. We called costumer service they said no there was no need to go to the apple store. We go back to the store and they didn't bother on hearing us out and kept saying to go to the apple store. It was the Bald headed dude and some short chubby Mexican guy. We went to the apple store really nice helpful guy helped out and told us the same thing this a T-Mobil issue they shouldn't have sent us down there. We recognize the mistake we made by just letting them order us around when we had already been told something else but what terrible service no team effort. We called costumer service again later that night after not solving anything. They told us that we should report them IMMEDIATELY because all they had to do was look at their computer and see that our order was there as well with a note explaining the situation of the phone and it was ready to pick up no need for all those shenanigans and rude service suggesting driving to the apple store. The lady said I could get a mail in rebate well.................She lied I got a letter saying that I can't get a refund because I already got one on my last phone. I NEVER DID!!!! They had mail a rebate but who knows were they mailed it to because it got used on the east side of Palmdale. Someone had a good time with my rebate. I live on the west side of Lancaster and I only go to the east side once in awhile. The guy on the phone was rude and he though I was lying. REALLY ASSHOLE, REALLY!!! We sometimes get mail from a similar address near by us. My guess is that they got it and never bother to give us our mail. Back to the crappy service T-Mobile has to offer. The calls drop all the time. Phones are not the best quality. If you buy phones every year and a half then T-Mobile is the best cell phone company to go with. The phone quality has gone to shits. I don't remember themm being this bad, but it seems that the phones don't last. I don't drop my phone or abuse it. It's always in a safe place and I always keep it clean. I like top keep my things neat. M husband's phone is from AT&T and his phone is sooo old it still works great. My phone I had it maybe less than a year and a half and I can't even make calls or text messages. Sometimes when I get a voice message it shows no miss phone number or anything. Today I stopped by to transfer my wife's cell # from our Verizon service to our new T-Mobile service. I purchased the phones in the east Palmdale store but decided to stop by this store since my wife works in this area. I explained to the girl what I was trying to do. She seemed a bit confused or lost, but she quickly switched out the SIM card on the new iPhone I brought in. She then input some information into the computer & then told me ok It's all done. She told me it would take 24 to 72 hrs for the number to switch over. I told her my cell took less than 5 mins but thanks. I asked her to if she could transfer my wife's contacts to the new number. She said, "No that's not how we do things here. You need to do it on the cloud." I responded, "The Palmdale store did it for me." She then said, "well I can only say we can't do it" So I left the store totally unsatisfied. I ended up stopping by the store in East Palmdale. I explained to them what happened & they helped me out. The girl at the Palmdale store told me the number was never transferred over. She input all the information in the computer. She also told me it may take 24 hrs to transfer the number. After getting home I decided to take it a step further. I called customer service & pushed them to transfer the number. Now my wifey can finally enjoy her Christmas present. I am extremely upset with this T-mobile location. My boyfriend and I were told by a T-Mobile customer service representative over the phone that this location ON AVE L had two iPhones we were looking for on hold for us. When we arrived to the location at 7:20PM they were at max capacity and we were told BY RICK (sales associate at T-Mobile) that my name was added to the list but due to covid I had to wait outside. So we waited outside in the car for nearly 2 hours. At 8:50 PM we seen a sales associate come out and wrap up the flags. I approached him and asked him if it was my turn and he stated they were closing but to hold on. He goes to the back to grab Rick who put us on the list to begin with. Rick came to the door and stated that they couldn't help me. What kind of customer service is that T-Mobile? You guys need to re-train your entire staff because if I'm put on the list to get seen and parked right in front of the door why couldn't anyone assist me or at least tell me they weren't going to be able to help me out tonight. I went there today to get my phone activated. I purchased it through a 3rd party retailer (HSN). The phone would not activate there was something wrong with it. The associate went to her manager and replaced the phone no questions asked (I didn't even ask for it to be replaced). That in my opinion was excellent customer service. The phone wasn't even purchased through T-Mobile and they still replaced it because I had just bought service. They had every right to tell me the phone was defective and I would have to return it to where I bought it from. That's not what they did, the just replaced it.
