Came here with my mom to help her because her phone was not working. Turns out she had a smart watch she didn't use, canceled it, and instead of canceling the watch line they cancelled her phone line!!! This mistake was made by a phone rep but she had to come to a store to fix their mistake. Dylan was the one to help us and he was very friendly, patient, and helpful. However he had to call customer service and sit on hold for 15 minutes to get her a months credit for the watch they never cancelled and had billed her again for. He should be able to get her a credit without having to call. T-Mobile needs to EMPOWER THEIR EMPLOYEES. read more

I want to first say it takes a lot for me to give a bad review and I always sleep on it. I have been with T-Mob about 25 yrs. I will go into detail later on social due to my father is heading into surgery today. 4/30/2026 was a nightmare in the store dealing with Chau. I have always given T-Mob high reviews on Google. I have started a complaint so I will come back into more detail. I do want to say Thank You, Thank you to one of the head Mgr. That called me back n stayed on the phone with me until I returned on 5/1/2026 n kept me calm due to my father being ill and note this was told to Chau. When I got in the store I found a worker n I will reveal name later The customer service Mgr. spoke with him n with in 3 minutes I had the info. I needed. I will be thanking her more in detail later. Stopped in this evening because I couldn't get my internet router to turn on...this was a replacement for another unit that didn't work. Needless to say, I was very frustrated at this point. I explained to Matthew my issue and he was able to troubleshoot the problem, that the block I was using was the wrong wattage. I transferred my many lines from Verizon to T-Mobile on the promise that they would pay off the phone charges that I have on one of my lines. It has been 5 months and they are still arguing with me on if the paperwork is sufficient. They demanded that it says "buy out," it does, if it has the phone number attached, it does, if it has the model and make of the phone. Nope they do not put that on the bills. The staff helped me solve a buy-back issue that another store created (and refused to solve). I go into this store (8/4 about 11:20am) to simply drop my phone off after a deferred trade-in and the lady who has apparently been there for 16 years tells me they can't accept my phone and that I will need to go mail it myself. I questioned her a little bit and shared this: When I upgraded my phone less than 5 days ago, the manager at the store I purchased it at told me I could take it to any store within the next 14 days, so I'm confused why I'm being denied. I was frustrated and told her I didn't think this was right. So I go out to my car and called the store I purchased my phone at and they pulled up my account, confirming that any store should accept it. I go back into the Tacoma location and while this same lady is helping other customers, she says loudly "Ma'am did you have another question?" So I shared that I just spoke with the other store and he confirmed that they should be able to accept my phone. She responds with "Well I tried and the only option it gave me was for you to mail it in" and I responded with "Okay, I understand, I just thought we could dig a little deeper and see if we can make it work or if someone else maybe had a trick or idea." She literally raises her voice and says "I know how to do this, I've been here for 16 years, so trust me I know what I'm doing!" I just said "Okay" and she glares at me. A few minutes later, a guy (Bryan) comes from the back and asks me if I've been helped, so I explain that the other gal was working with me to take my trade-in but it wasn't working, so I was hoping we could try again since it *should* work. Fast forward two minutes, he says the trade has been processed and I'm good to go. Yay me. No apology or even an acknowledgement that she was sorry for -- not being wrong-- being RUDE. I never expect for people to know everything, but I do expect to be treated with respect. This lady spoke to me with such attitude, especially considering it was in front of a store full of people. I would NEVER return to the store, despite Bryan, the awesome guy who actually solved the issue. Would it have been difficult for me to just mail the phone in? No. But it's the principle. This didn't need to turn into an incident fuelled by ego. Really disappointed by this -- it is the first time I would ever have a negative word to associate with T-Mobile. Do better. read more

Buyer beware: This is regarding the TMobile store on 5914 6th ave. I was directly lied to regarding a promotion to get new iPhone (I didn't need new phone). My bad that I trusted the employee and let him talk me into it. He told me up to 5x that my bill would only go up by 5-6 dollars; it went up by 20 dollars. Just before transitioning to new phone, I got cold feet and stated such, when the employee again said my bill would only go up by 5-6 dollars. "It's practically free!" he said. HA. If it sounds too good....well you know the rest. BEWARE of this store. DO NOT TAKE WHAT THE EMPLOYEES SAY AT FACE VALUE. I called the company to complain and will write my negative reviews. Then, I will take advantage of a competitor's promotion and switch carriers (they pay off equipment charges). I am angry at myself for being duped. Don't let them DUPE you. Each and every time they have been professional and met all of our expectations for every visit. Visits have varied from upgrading phones, services, and troubleshooting defective phones. Sometimes these would take upwards to an hour. I truly appreciate that they give straight answers. If they don't know something, they will say so and look into the topic. Beware of Derek!This is a terrible business! I went in to see if t-mobile service would work at my home. Jacob and Sean signed me up for a temporary three lines and one tester phone. They told us that we could try it for one day and if it worked then we would sign up for an account. They told us if the service did not work or we did not like it we would not have to sign up for service with them. We went back the next day to return the temporary phone and tell them the service did not work. They told us no problem and that they would deactivate everything. We gave the phones back. Since then we have been sent multiple bills from T-Mobile. We called multiple times sitting on hold to deactivate the account that was supposedly already deactivated. Now we are being sent to collections and Derek will not return our calls the store manager is terrible his name is Derek Oliver he should be fired. Now we have $100 bill sent to collections and no one will call us back. Do you not go to the store beware!! Watch out for Derek! read more

The workers here are a bunch of crooks and liars. My brother come into the store to get a new iPhone. One of the salemans, Jamal or whatever his name is, talked my brother into getting an Apple Watch on top of the iPhone. My brother insisted he didn't want the watch, but Jamal promised to take off the Apple Watch's first payment. My brother thought it was a good deal so he got the watch along with the phone. A month later I looked at the bill and of course the payment for the watch was not taken off. My brother had to drive all the way back to the store to get things straightened out. Some guy at the store helped my brother and claimed that it is now taken care of. A few days later I looked at the bill again and it still was not taken off. Seriously, do they think people don't check their bills? I called the Tmobile hotline and a nice and honest lady helped me and took it off for me. Lesson learned- never going back to this store. My mobile data decided to stop working all of a sudden. Only way I could do anything was thrgh wifi. Which sucked! So went in on a Sunday morning to get my phone looked at. From the moment I stepped into this tmobile customer service was on point. My family and I were greeted and waited about 5-10min, since all employees were helping someone. Derek & Jose both helped us and went above and beyond. They answered all our questions and even fixed some issues with our acct that we did not notice. Ended up walking out with a free tablet. Nice ! I have been dealing with an double payment issue with T-Mobile for 6 weeks. I have talked to 6 different "experts" who all claimed it would be taken care of and 6 weeks later T-Mobile is still trying to figure it out. Apparently there is one person, Andy, who knows what he is doing and I was able to deal with him. It appears he has resolved the issue. BUT I had to go through 6 customer service people over 6 weeks before I got a customer service person who is competent. That is a problem. read more

I don't think they deserve anything less than 10 stars, but yelp only gave me 5. I love 6th Ave T-mobile. I refuse service anywhere else and for good reasons. Our account gets messed up every time we go anywhere else. We are grandfathered in on our plan so we NEVER change. Mario goes above and beyond what is needed. This is not to make sale because I listened to how he talked to other customers about their phones and bills. When someone decided they were not upgrading to a new phone, Mario never pushed one down their throats. zee I got 2 phones and 2 tablets plus accessories. Mario knew what I needed before I did lol. I had to come back the next day to get the accessories that he originally suggested to me. We laughed because I should of just got them the day before lol. Just don't ask Mario to do a screen cover and you will be just fine. Phong (please forgive me if I spelled it wrong) is absolutely knowledgeable about everything technical. He has helped me a few times with getting what I needed. He will let you downgrade, but always compares models to give you the best knowledge. He's absolutely funny and a Patriots fan so he's cool with me lol. All and all the store has dramatically improved since getting new management. People want to be at a store where others are happy. There is a lot of high fives and laughter, but as a customer I want to see that. It let's me know being there will be less painful. read more

T-Mobile Experience Store - These dudes hooked up my business!!!! Sound and iPad ask for Mario or James - Mobile Phones Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

When you walk into this store and Kyle the overweight goatee'd manager is so busy sweeping the floor that he doesn't notice you, you know you're in for a bad experience. When Stanislav the Russian kid is busy talking in Russian to his Russian mafia-looking friend, you know you're not going to get very good service. When you try to explain your request to Stan and before you can even finish, Kyle interrupts to say, "no we absolutely cannot do that," you know you're in for a fight. When Kyle goes back to stonewalling a kindly old couple who are just trying to find out what happened to a payment, that's when you start to get really angry. When Stan calls up Tmo corporate to try to get help on what to do, you feel a little glimmer of hope. But when Stan starts all of his statements with, "the customer was supposedly told..." that's when your hope goes down in flames. When, twenty minutes later, you finally have to take the service issue into your own hands and you're standing in the middle of the lobby with a service desk phone waiting for a supervisor and a retention specialist to figure out the problem, you take a moment to look around and observe: - Kyle apologizing to the kindly old couple for mis-applying their payment, but subtly implying that it was their fault because they didn't know the technical difference between "pay my bill" and "pay the financing on my phone". - Two more very burly employees (who I will name Kenny and Cartman) arrive 30 minutes after opening and rushing around shouting, "WHO IS NEXT?" instead of being polite and inviting to customers who have been sitting on a bench waiting for 15 minutes. - Stan and Kyle exchange knowing glances in regard to your level of frustration and your unwillingness to take their indifferent "no"s as an answer. The problem with this store is that no one cares. Kyle didn't care to ask questions or get details. He was intent on telling me what could not be done, instead of trying to help me find what *could* be done. It was as if he wanted to get me out of the store. Stan was the same. When I gave Stan information, he didn't know what to do with it. When I told Stan about my account notes, he replied that he didn't see any notes, and he didn't seem interested in doing anything about it. So the lesson here is: don't go to the T-Mobile store on 6th Pearl because you won't get any answers, the staff cannot correctly apply payments, and they just don't care. If you want good service, call the T-Mobile customer service line and try to connect with the Level 3 team in Wichita, Kansas. Not only do they know what they're doing, but they do it with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, respect, and empathy. read more

I've been in this store about 10 times in the last 5 years (including the old location across the street) but today was the end of it for me. Most times you can get some ok help if you are willing to stand around until they are good and ready to help you. Other times they are rude, preoccupied and dismissive. Today I needed a quick phone number re-assignment and I was told they did not have time. He then proceeded to ignore me to look at the monitor he was in front of and then walked up to another customer and helped him. I love t-mobil overall.
