We visited this location to switch from t-mobile. We were there for about 2-3 hours. (Like the nightmare of buying a car!) we were never given paperwork to tell us exactly what we were going to pay per month. We wanted our bill to be at least cheaper than our bill from the other carrier. This was the worst experience I think we have ever had with a cell carrier. I wish we never changed!! read more

I've been with Verizon for 25 years. Until August 2025, I honestly had very few complaints--at least none that couldn't be resolved with a simple phone call. Then Verizon switched our account to a business account because it was the only way we could get Verizon Internet. That's when everything went sideways. We were promised our billing date would be moved to the end of the month. Nine months later, we're still "communicating" with a communications company that apparently doesn't understand the communication part. So here I am, yet again on a Saturday, arguing with an automated system just to speak to a live human being. At this point, I'd gladly talk to the custodian, the mailroom clerk, or even a ham sandwich if it could fix the problem. I'm exhausted from hearing:"We can fix that.""I'm so sorry this happened, sir." The apologies are plentiful. The solutions? Not so much. We have six devices on our plan. Two weeks ago, someone from Verizon called to tell me I qualified for a "FREE iPhone 16." I told them they could keep the phone and instead give me the billing date we were promised. Strangely enough, I haven't heard back from them since. So here's where I'm at: Does anyone have the number for T-Mobile? After 25 years of loyalty, it's disappointing to feel like that loyalty means absolutely nothing. I find it hard to believe another company could be worse at communication than a company whose entire business is communication. If you're considering Verizon because you value customer service and loyalty, I would strongly encourage you to do your homework before making that decision. Absolutely pissed off and mad. First of all was sold an iPhone 17 Pro Maxx. Then the phone went completely black screen on me, which wasn't lighting up at all, but was on. I went in to get help with the phone. Liz the person who helped me, didn't inform me that I needed to sign for the new phone upon receiving it. I needed the phone as soon as possible and told Liz about that. I missed the phone being delivered by mere minutes and since FedEx doesn't deliver on the weekends and spent over 3 hours trying to be able to get a phone before Monday, since I'm flying out of state. What can I say besides don't shop here at all they fail to help you out and get what you need when you need it. This all stems from not being informed about the signing of the package. If I were told about this then I would have stayed home completely until I received the phone. But now I'm going to be out of state for a whole week for business without a phone to get by and conduct business. Liz promised I would get the phone by Monday and with no warning about signing for it. read more

It's a corporation store..... They are salesmen.... Like a car... A ton of this is obvious to the person looking out for people screwing them.... You get a free* phone with a 2 year agreement. BUT*** it's not free, you have to pay sales tax? This is the associates commission... the company just writes it off in their taxes as advertisement and redirects the income and label you see. I have dealt with racism at this store toward myself from the workers in the past (as a retired marine white man, im color blind and believe in working together, no racism in my world.)) I went as far as calling corporate and they did nothing except send my phone call in circles with long hold times. Other times I've had a guy dude serve me, but I still ended up paying for the electronic service which took 2 minutes for them to do. I want to start off by saying I haven't visited this Verizon store in about 15 years or so, because it's not nearby my home. My friend brought me in about 2 weeks ago after my purse was stolen along with my phone and wallet (with ID, bank cards, etc.) and I was told at the Apple Store to get a new SIM card so they could make my friend's old phone become my phone with all my account info. This was the nearest Verizon store of the nearest Apple store, which is how I ended up there. I was assisted by Carter who spent no less than 2 hours with me and my friend, fighting with the fraud department. She was friendly, competent, and I truly felt like she cared about what happened to me and trying to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, by closing time, the fraud department put their foot down and refused to release the fraud flag on my account until my new permanent ID arrived in the mail; temporary ID be damned. During all of this, Carter was also looking up potential deals for me and my fiancé in case we wanted to join accounts and get new phones. She was absolutely fantastic! My ID showed up in the mail late Saturday. I took Tuesday off work to go to the bank to situate my account issues there and then drove back to this Verizon store to finish what I had started. Carter wasn't working, but I was helped by Kajuan who is the Mr. Wizard of the Verizon store. He helped me for about 3 1/2 - 4 hours with no less than at least 5 phone calls to the fraud department, because they kept releasing the flag and then re-flagging my account every step he took. Ultimately, my friend's old phone accepted the new SIM card, but wasn't really making calls. It was an old phone just like mine was so I wasn't totally surprised. I ended up buying a new Apple 15, case, cover and charger cords to start fresh because I was determined to walk out of there with a working phone. Definitely was not planning on buying a new phone that day, but sometimes you've just got to adapt and move on with life, right? Kajuan was able to not only get the phone turned on with the new SIM card, but he was able to get it synched with my old phone info all the way back to the day of the theft. He totally saved me a trip to the Apple store and got me back to where I needed to be. This man skipped his lunch to take care of me, even though I told him I'd be more than happy to wait for him to go have lunch. He refused, saying he was invested in fixing my problem. I felt so guilty, but at the same time was so impressed by his dedication. My new phone is working great and I'm overall SUPER happy with the customer service I received by both Carter and Kajuan. I've NEVER received such great service from ANY Verizon store and I've been with Verizon for 25 years. This store is doing something right. There were several other employees there who would smile and joke with me. If you need to go to a Verizon store, this is the one. It's worth the drive and I live near Graham. Thank you again Carter and Kajuan! I appreciate you both soooo much for all of your help! You're both amazing people with great senses of humor and huge hearts. I can't thank you enough and I'm eternally grateful. It's been helpful for me while dealing with all the stress of these issues that popped up from the theft that there are more good people out there who want to help you than there are thieves and other selfish people who create these situations. We came in last night and Brian was the best person to have ever helped me within this company. Ive been with verizon for well over a decade and have upgraded many phones. My phone broke two days ago and that's always stressful but he got me what I needed in a quick manner. The store was closing in less than an hour by the time we arrived and he wasn't rushing us or pushy in any way. I switched from iPhone to Samsung, added full coverage, the works. I arrive around 6:50-7 there are two - three individuals in front of me and 3 workers in the store. From the time I walked in to at the time writing this there is now 8 parties in the store. Issac and the manager Peter have been working on the same customer. Together, on her account. 30-40 minutes have went by people are slowly coming in and instead of spreading help the manager and specialist have been working on the same account! This is a complete waste of time and a showing of the terrible customer service provided in these stores. At 7:40 Peter finally sends Issac to work on the next person in line! I've only been here twice. Once before covid, and once recently during covid. The store is spacious and clean. The staff there greets you right away and lets you know the next person available will be with you shortly if they're busy. Verizon in general has plenty of options for your needs whether it's for a phone, phone plan, or accessories and other devices to add to your account. I have been with Verizon now for almost 10 years, and by far the best cellular service and customer service! My recent visit to this store was to do a curbside pick up on Christmas Eve. I placed an order for a new phone the day before. It was really simple and convenient. I arrived to the store in the morning- half asleep. I was having a slow moment trying to click on the app that I had arrived to the store. But not to worry. The gentleman saw me parked at the curbside spot and came out with his tablet and a mask on. I showed him my ID and he came out a minute later with my new device. A few days later, Verizon sends me a large envelope in the mail with a return label and an envelope so I can trade in my old phone. It had step by step instructions and stated that I have 15 days to return the device. The whole process was easy and straight forward. Kudos to the staff who stays protected and safe! read more

Inordinately long wait times with little concern or interest about why the customer is there, what the customer needs, or how to best serve them. Stopped in and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. Left and came back another day and was told my wait would be 15 minutes. Left again after 35 minutes. Went to the Lakewood office where the person who meets you at the door answered my questions in less than five minutes. Maybe the Tacoma office can take lessons from them. Or maybe a $135 billion company can hire enough staff to adequately serve their customers. read more

Great service from Tom, Cameron and Chris tonight as they helped me port my phone number from At&t. Side note: Nothing against At&t, I am switching solely for the data for my portable WiFi ("MiFi"). I have been with At&t for about 8-9 years with little issues. I had a Verizon phone for work last year and it was fine. This year, I switched jobs and had to buy my own MiFi. It makes financial sense to switch to a Verizon unlimited data plan. Came in, didn't see Tom yet I had spoke to him last week. I could not remember Toms name... I'm tired and just need to be done. Cameron, Army Veteran was at the counter and greeted me promptly. Chris and Cameron were looking up information trying to find the plan that I was talking about. Tom, Army Veteran as well, came out about 10 minutes later, back from break and walked by me without recognizing me. He was involved in something else, head down. I told Cameron that was the guy I had talked to before yet I was fine having Cameron handle my transaction. Cameron called Tom over and I had to remind Tom that he had helped me last week. Yet Cameron handed the sale over to Tom, because he said it was the right thing to do. Tom had my phone number ported, Phone up and running, and I was out 15 minutes later! After confronting her after two months later seeing it added to my business account as a reoccurring payment claims that because I was in "a hurry" which I wasn't, she gave me an upgrade instead. I've paid for insurance for 3 years and specifically came in to use my insurance because my phone was stolen. Now claims that she "educated me on what my options were... Piece of shit service, very deceiving. Be cautious about them claiming they are using insurance.... They will auto bill u for a brand new phone using an upgrade option instead.. Alejandra is a piece of shit! Made me wait for an hour to find out she made notes in my account that she already educated me. Wtf?! She had shit to say and claimed I was told that I'm getting a new contract instead of using insurance.. Poor service Crap customer service read more

Usually I have a great experience at this Verizon store but today I felt discriminated against. Someone checked in after me and was helped before I was . I listened to their conversation to ensure the customer wasn't there before me and just came back, that wasn't the case. Frustrated I went outside for air while I was waiting for a notification indicating that it was we my turn to be seen. I never received a notification and was magically taken out of the queue. When I did return the MANAGER that skipped over me stated "it we so weird I went over to assist you because you were in the queue and you were gone." Like you literally weren't just helping the person who came in AFTER me. I think she said they because another manager was helping me when I returned. It took over 1 hour just to get a replaced screen protector: Everytime I'm waiting for assistance I receive a notification. Just BS! Now I have to travel to Lakewood for decent customer service and honestly want to cancel my service with Verizon all together! read more

I rarely write evaluations and I have a dislike for what the cell phone industry has become. But I must speak out when I see exemplary service and skilled and caring employees who work for a company. One such person is Lily at this Verizon location. I have met her two times as my wife and I were changing service (I had put my clam shell in the washer and did not work any more). Lily has excellent people skills and she gets things done. I had been struggling to change my number from the clam shell to an android. It was not working. I found out in my second visit I had been given the wrong account number by another carrier. On the second visit (it took 45 minutes) Lily made sure that the job got done before I left. She even called the other carrier for me. She is a remarkable talent and a very nice person. Thank you Lily! read more

I dread coming here, which is why I have put it off until the point where I can no longer ignore the fact that I need a phone. Wait times Less efficient than the DMV. Can you imagine that? Every time I come the wait is 30 minutes or longer. Here's a thought: hire more people. Pricing The end caps which carry cases, etc, don't have pricing visible. Why not be transparent? You want to have long wait times and have me blindly find and pay for a case? Gee, thanks. Bathrooms On top of the long waits, there are no restrooms. This makes it nearly impossible to come with my father or kids. Service The only salvation to this mobile phone hell are the reps. Once you actually see them, they seem helpful. They should hire more of them, and then take metrics and figure out your busy times and staff accordingly. My two least fave places to go: Verizon and Comcast. My tip is that if you have to go to either, bring a lunch, adult depends, and maybe a dissertation you have to write. read more

Clean and a large sized Verizon store, but after I walked in and was told it would be a 15 min wait... so I waited 25 minutes. I was then told it would ONLY be another 15-20 minutes! In other words, they expect you to wait 40-60 minutes to even talk to someone (which I said screw this and walked out)! It wasn't even that crowded but there were only 2 people on the sales floor actually helping people. I really think instead of having 2 people walking around to 'check people in' (who were doing NOTHING the majority of the time), they should have them help people! I wouldn't advise going to this Verizon location unless you care to wait all day for help. I'm going to have to find a different location next time... read more

Visiting this store is like playing a game of chance. I've arrived to find it packed, noisy, and disorganized; but I've also been here when there are only a few customers and been offered personal assistance almost as soon as I walked through the doors. Since this is an *official* Verizon store, customers can pay their bills here and get assistance with existing accounts or sign up for new accounts without any "middle man" fees. In most cases, however, you are more likely to have a better experience taking care of business online or over the phone as the waits here can be exasperating. One nice thing about going to the store in person is you can look at, and even try out, all the shiny new phones-- difficult to get that kind of experience from a website (so far). As for the accessories, pretty much everything here can be found cheaper elsewhere. Oh yeah, and the shopping center that this store is located in is ALWAYS busy-- parking and navigating the lot can be challenging at any time of the year, but it's just not even worth the stress during the holiday season! read more

I despise this store. Not only did the company itself give me a faulty phone (touchscreen doesn't work), I went to go get a new one and they DIDN'T HAVE IT. Excuse me? Can you not expand your stock by a bit you're a PHONE COMPANY. Then, I asked for a different color and they said they'd have to charge me a restock fee. WHAT EVEN IS THAT. So I ordered one for next day delivery, they said next morning. Then, I checked the date and it said TODAY. Now, keep in mind I live in a good neighborhood with little to no crime. THEY SAID THAT BECAUSE I WASNT HOME I HAVE TO WAIT A LITTLE LESS THAN A WEEK TO GET IT. Excuse me? I should be charging YOU. Do not go to this store, customer service isn't good and there's no nice decorations. Everyone was pretty nice even though they left me helpless. This place is still a mad house!!! It's pretty hit and miss but due to the location many factors make this place a not so friendly establishment. First off, I hate the whole checking in to even get help! It's pretty informal and almost never seems to be efficient since hollering someone's name that has probably left after 30 minutes is quite annoying. Secondly the location and parking is utterly impossible. I would give them 2 stars but some of the sales reps do try and accomodate as much as they can. Not sure why the poor reviews of this location but I didn't let it stop me from stopping by. Seems that quality service of any kind up here in WA is the norm so that being said I headed to this store since my Verizon iPhone was stuck on the screen of death. The apple logo screen had become my permanent home screen. I was greeted at the door and sent to the right place for my prearranged appointment. Kinda felt like I was in an Apple Store. Rob was extremely attentive and helped right away. He knew what the problem was and was quick to say Verizon was not equipped for this type of fix and laid out several options. Of course taking my phone to Apple Store to see if Data salvage was possible since I did have the Screen of Death. I ended up getting new phone and iPad deal that was going on. He helped me choose accessories based on research and technology. Also helped me adjust my line and data plan that lowered my monthly bill. The manager Sam was also super attentive to what was going on with this transaction as well as the other customers in the store. Both he and Rob were a wealth of knowledge about Verizon company and the latest technologies. Sam seems to be innovative as well in bringing new products to his store before they are mainstream in all stores. They even met the guy who invented the special coating on the new screen protectors! I got one for this phone and the iPad. Worth the money! Huge difference compared to the plastic film I had been using. I recommend this store. The staff here made the experience painless and fun. read more

I went to this Verizon in the to look at a phone I was interested in and try and help my wife decide on what phone she would want. I had pretty much decided on the phone, but still had a couple of questions. The first guy really didn't know too much about the Nokia phone and just walked off and talked to his Verizon buddies. The reason I am giving it a 3 star is another guy came up and talked to my wife and I am spent some time with us. He answered some questions from both my wife and I. If it wasn't for the first guy and his lack of interest in new customers, I would have given this place a higher rating. Update: I had to stop in and update my billing information. It took someone 15 minutes to even speak to me and once I was talked to by someone, I was told I would have to wait 45 minutes to speak to someone about my bill. 45 minutes? I bet if I wanted to buy a phone, someone would be right over there. This has nothning to do with Verizon, but with their 3rd party stores. They really need to get a handle on their customer service in their stores. Most of them are subpar. If you talk to them Verizon on the phone, you will most likely be helped, but go to a store and watch out. You will be screwed or plan on camping out there most of your day. read more

Let me start with the customer service from manager on duty right now, Lee has been very helpful. My "issue" has not been resolved (as of yet) however the customer service and explain action of everything from Lee has been great. I know as someone who also deals with customers on a daily basis how frustrating it can be if they do not "want to listen." He patiently wasted for me to explain what was going on and why we were confused on what was happening with our account. He listened to my story (timeline) of what has been going on with other stores we have had to deal with in the process and what we are waiting to hear about. I understand in the process of figuring out what happened with an "in store visit," each customer service rep has to be asked questions and each transaction has to be looked into individually and from there the manager can help resolve the situation. At the end of the conversation he was able to explain to me some options of what he could do, and after hearing about our other store issues down here in CA he told me he would also try and help with those problems as well! Thank you Lee, for listening, explaining, and providing solutions to our issue in an efficient manner. I will wait to hear back from you later (with and update to the bottom of this review) I hope that these solutions will be the end of our confusion to all the changes on our account so we can just go on enjoying our new devices and the great service that Verizon provides. read more
