This is one of the WORSE experiences I have ever had with a retailer. I have been a T-mobile customer for over 13 years and have usually enjoyed great service. I normally go to the store in Central Park, but since I was in in Spotsylvania went here. WHAT A MISTAKE! My saga began in late September 2022. First, the sales associate ordered the wrong phone. I wanted the latest apple chip technology and the sales person said the iPhone 14-PLUS and 14-PRO were the same (WRONG!). I was trading in my perfectly good XR10 using a promotion that was supposed to give me an $800 credit towards my new phone, plus I had to open a new line. When my phone finally arrived, the store associate offered to set up my phone. Well, she did that but she assigned my new phone the wrong number. Folks were texting me "who is this?" because my old number wasn't showing up. A week later we got that fixed. Then when I got my bill, T-mobile cancelled my promotion because of "buyer's remorse." I explained the problem to the Store Manager who then BLAMED ME (the customer) for the problem! I have gone to at least 3 other T-mobile stores but they say the Spotsy store is not a corporate store, so they cannot fix the problem (who know, right?). After calling T-mobile and sitting on hold for 2-3 hours at a time, here I am at the end of January 2023 and hoping that we finally have the problem fixed, and I'll get my monthly credits (plus back credits.) Overall, I really think highly of the T-mobile service and I don't plan to quit, but avoid the Spotsylvania T-mobile store in Masspnx at all costs (or it will cost you)! We are/were Sprint customers. I drug my feet to do the change over since Tmobile took over Sprint. I finally decided to stop here to get a feel of tmobile and what they have to offer or switch to a new carrier. I was impressed. The 3 employees working were a wealth of information. I have been with Sprint since the beginning of time. I was station at Fort Monmouth NJ in 1996 when I established services with Sprint and never had the concerns i have now that they have merged with T-Moble. Sometime I reach for my cell and it has a message that reads "you can only make emergency calls because your not connected to a network" imagine that. I can be sitting here in my house and not have services so you call and their solution is to turn on WI-FI but yet they have more towers then any other cell company. Nothing like being ignored and the disrespected by the one employee. Waited for 45 minutes while the lady stood with the only other customer while they updated his phone. No reason why she couldn't help us while they waited and waited and waited. When we asked she disrespected us so we left and went to another store. read more

Franchise owned T-Mobile who scams customers to boost sales. We switched from Verizon to T-mobile this week and purchases an iPhone 8 + T-mobile service from this location. During our check-out they added two [Free SyncUp Drives] and told us that it was mandatory we purchase insurance for the phone. Both of these are lies. The SyncUps required a monthly fee + the offer was BOGO, which was never mentioned or discussed. Moreover, the insurance is not mandatory even after we asked several times. All of this information was discovered the day after we purchased the phone and talked to customer service. Customer service explicitly told us that they were franchise owned and that everything they said to us were lies. As a result, we went back the next day to return the two syncUp drives and get our money back. When we asked a representative to return the items she told us the drives were free and that she couldn't return them because there was no manager [But to not worry because it was all FREE :)]... however before we left ANOTHER customer walked in and told the representative they told him the drives were free and that he didn't need the insurance. So we called the corporate location in front of the representatives and corporate location told us that all locations CAN return items as long as they have the manager code, BUT the manager Vanessa told the representatives that they couldn't return items who had purchased the Sync Up Drives until next week [after the return date has passed :)]. The icing on the cake was that corporate told us they had also put on a hotspot on our account which we didn't ask for and that they would take it off free of charge.
