T-Mobile is terrible, terrible, terrible! They tell me that my plan includes calls to and from Canada and Mexico, and before I go on a cruise from here (USA) to Canada, I called them to confirm that it will be free so that I will not need to buy a WI-FI package from the cruise line- they tell me it's free. But when I come back from the cruise, I get a huge charge of more than $500 because they say that I made calls while I was in the water! I had no idea that calling off the coast of Canada is not considered calling from Canada- it was never explained to me! I tried explaining this misunderstanding, but to no avail. Now, I have to take it to Small Claims Court! It's deceptive advertising, and I abhor what they did! I have cancelled my service with them, and advise that you don't use them because they will probably screw you in one way or another! read more

This store/manager likes to lie and take advantage of you, especially if you're a woman, older, foreign/language, etc. My wife went to this location to trade-in her iPhone 12 and get a new iPhone, and was also curious/interested in a smartwatch (only for pairing) prices. She informed them that she can not afford more than a $100 monthly statement/bill. The manager tells my wife: 1) her iPhone 12 trade-in value was $700 2) she could afford the iPhone 14 because of the high trade-in value of the iPhone 12 3) she could get a new apple smartwatch for free due to some promotion, that she would only have to pay the taxes for the watch at that time. My wife found all of this hard to believe. To which the manager took out a pen and paper and wrote all the price details out and showed my wife that her monthly statement/bill would not be more than $100. My wife then agreed to the transaction only after seeing that the math added up. Later that same day, my wife starts getting numerous notifications that changes were being made to her t-mobile account. She calls t-mobile to inquire but is told that it can be normal when updating an account. One month later is when we start learning how the store/manager illegally conned my wife: 1) the bill/statement was closer to $200 2) the smartwatch was not free and was being charged $300 3) the iPhone 12 trade-in value was at least $400 less than promised 4) there were two extra phantom lines added to the account without my wife's consent/knowledge. One of the lines was for the smartwatch, eventhough my wife specifically said she only wanted to pair it to her phone. And an additional line for no apparent reason which t-mobile still can't explain how a line was added without any device being associated with it. My wife offered to send everything back but t-mobile tells her that she would still have to pay for the new iPhone 14 because it was past a certain date. T-mobile doesn't care that the store did illegal transactions and that my wife would never have entered into a contract that she couldn't afford. My wife called the store very upset with this information. The store/manager tells her that it was his mistake and told her to not send anything back and that he would take care of it somehow. He told my wife to give him a couple of days to figure something out, but has stopped accepting any of my my wife's calls since then. He even hung up when t-mobile customer care attempted a three way call. So my wife is being billed by t-mobile over $1000 for the iPhone 14 & apple smartwatch AND lost her trade-in value of her iPhone 12 as well. (~$1500 loss) If you look up the poor reviews here, elsewhere, and Google, you will see that this type of deception is very common with this store/manager. Warn everyone that you know, warn all of your family members, warn your co-workers, warn your social media followers ... to stay away from this crooked business. P.S. The store manager likes to "flag" poor reviews on Google and other sites. He's afraid of people knowing how he operates his business. Every time I write a poor review about this business on Google and every time my wife writes a poor review, it dissappears. This con/man-ager is a coward as well. read more

Dealt with rude asian employee. I asked about number porting when signing up with tmobile. 2nd time I asked because I saw new numbers coming up on her computer. She takes a deep breath, sighs and extends her hand out to me in a stop motion and gives me an attitude. When I asked her if she was having a bad morning she told me no and that the reason for her behavior was because I kept asking about porting. I don't think asking 2x is a lot and even if it was a lot that is not a way to treat a customer. Let's just say she is lucky I was very tired and had my baby with me otherwise I wouldnt have let her go so easily. read more

Carlos was very helpful and really knowledgeable, he helped me get my hand on an iPhone 11, Although i was very skeptic on apple products. he made it so much easier for me to understand the new device. he broke down my bill for me on what my payments where. i will visit this store again the near future read more

The best time to go is really early in the morning. There was only one other person in the stores besides us. The two representatives there gave us some conflicting information so finally we got them both together to sort out the information we were asking for. Always check the fine print. They tried to sign us up for a fourth line claiming it was free. It's not, don't fall for that. We verified what they were telling us in comparison to what is written on their official accuracy. Sometimes you have to. Nothing in life is ever genuinely free. You will end up paying for stuff you don't want or need. Never buy a case from the store, they're horribly overpriced. We were happy to only spend about 30 minutes here setting my son up with his new phone and plan. Other than the confusion it was pretty painless in comparison to our previous 2 hour Verizon visits. If you are switching your unlocked phone over from another provider you may run into some issues. Tech support tried to help, they honestly did...but in the end we did our own research and got it to work. The plans are much cheaper than Verizon but the service and coverage are not nearly as good. The selection of phones is also not as good but we already had phones and my son was content with what they had so it turned out okay. read more

These Indian workers are racist against chinese but yet doing business in our neighborhood? I purchased a sim card for my mom's phone but the owners activate it without asking, I brought it home and she found her phone so the sim card was no longer needed. I went there asked for a return which was confirmed by the 611 operator I am entitle to a refund but the store refuse stating the cars was activated? What the owner lied and said sim card can not be sold unless activated, call 611 proved him wrong but still refused to refund? What? I even purchased by s8pluse at this store and this is how they operate their dishonest business. I brought a unlocked T Mobile phone to this store and tried to activate the phone on my T mobile account. The clerk first said it can be done, and he need to replace sim card in the phone. I agreed. He took my phone and pulled out a worn sim card from the back pocket of his pants and inserts it into my phone. On the phone screen it showed the activation did not work. Then he go to my account on his computer screen pretending he tried other ways to activate the phone and still failed. He suggested that the phone may not be unlocked and that there are other phones in the store I can purchase to upgrade the phone. I started to have doubts on his practice as I am very sure what I have is an unlocked phone. Besides I have been to T Mobile stores to activate unlocked phone for my family members twice already, and I know how it works. It is a very simple process and I didn't understand why it was so hard for this clerk to do that for me. So I left and went to another T Mobile store and this clerk used a brand new sim card to activate my phone immediately! All I can say is the first clerk in Fresh Meadows store tried to trick me and I don't what scheme he had in mind at that time, to discourage me doing bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and to generate more sales by forcing me to buy phones from the store? read more

I have been dealing with this t mobile store for years now. The previous reps Ivana and Tanisha were best and very competent. I recently went and there and to my dismay found that they have been transferred. I had the most frustrating and obnoxious experience with a lady named Ishrat. Initially I thought she was knowledgeable but in a day I realized that she was over confident. The break up she gave me was totally wrong, she had not upgraded my data and had not added the Jump to a second phone as I had asked. When I called to point this out to the manager , he actually said that "she was second in the region[lol] and was the best in the store and she would HAVE NEVER made a mistake[ indirectly calling me a liar]. I had to call Tmobile directly and Cheryl walked me through this painful process. Called the store and made the changes. The next day Gino helped me ,gave me the correct numbers and was courteous and polite unlike Ishrat. I am surprised that the manager ,Rajesh, forgot that the customer IS ALWAYS RIGHT. And this time I was a proved by Gino . I guess I am having the last laugh. After this review I hope they do not misuse my information as I did not really see my old phone being deactivated. Love the store location and its staff, especially young associate by the name of Ivana. I have recommended my coworkers and family members into visiting this location and they have given me great feed back about this store otherwise I would not be here reviewing and writing about my experience coming to tmobile. It is so convinient and they have a huge parking lot so you don't have to spend the next 15 minutes looking for parking when you could have been in the store buying the newest Galaxy!! Serious I do love this tmobile they've helped me understand my bill. Ivana is the one to go to! taysha is awesome too. It seems like the best time to stop buy is between 11:30 ish to 5 ish p.m. the line is smooth and the store is clean.
