Instead, the sales associate acted like I was bothering her just by existing. She was dismissive, curt, and clearly uninterested in helping. Her response? "We don't do returns here." She then told me to return them to UPS but she couldn't help me with that either. To make matters worse, when we originally switched from Verizon, we were told by a different AT&T employee that they would pay off our Verizon phones as part of the deal. Now this associate says they don't do that either. So which is it? The lack of consistency between AT&T's customer service online, in-store, and over the phone is mind-blowing. It feels like no one is on the same page -- and the customer is left to deal with the fallout. Regretting ever making the switch. Verizon may be more expensive, but their customer service was leagues better. AT&T just can't seem to get it together.
