Got my dad off his Consumer Cellular plan and onto my T-Mobile plan at this store. Jeremy helped us and my dad was so grateful he left him a $5 tip. I've never left a gratuity at a cellphone store; I even Googled if it was something usually done and it doesn't look like it is so I haven't been lacking. Hence, the look of surprise on Jeremy's face and his insistence it wasn't necessary before accepting it. (Dude better not get in trouble for this review!) I don't leave tips at the cellular store but I will bequeath a 5 star review here. My dad isn't tech savvy and didn't have some crucial details taken care of so we had to jump through some extra hoops but Jeremy handled it like a champ. I almost never go in T-Mobile stores since I started paying my bill online and I can't say that I miss them but this experience was about as painless as it could be. And this location is a bit out of the way for me - we were just near a Target where my dad got signed up for Consumer Cellular and where he discovered they only sell their phones and he gets zero costumer service there. So I don't know if I'll be back to this particular T-Mobile but I will look somewhat fondly on it if I pass it on ugly Hall Road. read more

T-Mobile - Got dad a new phone - Mobile Phones Near Me - Macomb, Michigan

Went to get a new phone today. it was a little wait but, that was ok. I had a customer service guy name Erick he didn't give me a receipt until I asked, he didn't give me a bag for my new phone (then he gave me like 6 stating "he has to give them all away anyway" plus he didn't even open my phone for me to check out. He didn't give me the option to transfer my old phone . I asked how long would it take he said like 2 .5 hours. but, however it took all of 35 minutes for my phone to update all most all of my pictures and most apps once I got home and transferred my phone. I was not pleased with the service I received today. He also, didn't greet me but, greeted the person after me . He was with a customer when I came in but, he was assisting me but still greeted the next customer while hurting me along. I love being a t mobile customer but, I do not want work with him EVER AGAIN. I post reviews good or bad everywhere I go. read more

When I signed with them, they conveniently added digital talk and text to my phone. This is supposedly an extra line at 11.75 a month. Do not deal with this store on VanDyke in Shelby Twp. I had no recourse. This was not authorized! read more

Sometimes I just want to give more than 5 stars- this is one of them ! I understand that sprint has merged with t mobile - I have sprint. Took in a 5 year old I phone that refused to turn on. Couldn't switch any data to my new phone. Salesperson- Val to the rescue! She got it to turn on with some tender loving care. Also spent an hour transferring everything to 2 new I phones, even though they weren't purchased at her store. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Store was very cleaned and it seemed like all associates were low pressure sales people. read more

IF I could give No Stars, that would be my rating. Went there yesterday and Andrew, who is supposed to be a customer service rep, was rude, condensing, arrogant, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He was unhelpful and would not listen to what I was trying to convey to him. He had his own agenda which was to NOT help me. My husband was with me and could not believe what was going on. After I began to walk away, my husband told him that he did not appreciate the way he had spoken to me. I went back to the counter and told him that if someone had treated his mother the way he just treated me how would he like it. His response was that IF I heard what he said as rude, he could not control that. No apology was offered, only arrogance. At once point, I turned my phone toward him so he could read what a CSR at 6-1-1 had texted me earlier. As I began to tell Andrew what the text contained, he got snarky and said, "I can read." I suggested that Andrew call a certain CSR at 6-1-1 to confirm the substance of my issue, and Andrew got all puffed up and said, "I AM 6-1-1," like Moses on the Mount. As that discussion was escalating, I realized that two other T-Mobile employees and the customers they were with customers turned toward our table as if wondering what was going on. We left the store shortly after that. I then called T-Mobile customer service and learned that this is a Franchisee store (rather than a Corporate store), but the CSR on the phone logged my complaint and directed me to a Corporate store in Roseville. There I was treated as if I mattered and they worked to resolve my situation to my complete satisfaction. We will never patronize the Hall Road/Macomb store ever again because of the very, very unpleasant interaction with Andrew. read more

if I could give 1 star, i would. First of all, when we walked in, we weren't greeted for 10 mins, the man at the front, Andrew, the one with the big nose, acted as if he didn't even see us. He chatted with other customers for 10 mins, let other people cut in front of us, didn't even make eye contact. When we finally we're greeted, the lady who claims she's a manager for 8 years, said my mom wasn't an authorized user on the account , and when we called T-Mobile , they said she was , but clearly her 8 years there means nothing because she was clueless. DO NOT go here , especially if you're black , they are racist and had the nerve to call us "assholes" when we were leaving. I know it sucks working at T-mobile for 8 years, but if you're going to make this your life career, do it right and don't make ur customers uncomfortable. Weirdos. read more

Sad to give this a one star, but wow! Came in today about 1130, it was pretty empty. One girl there was helping a customer so I waited. Then another girl came from the back and rudely spoke " what you need??" Ok hi to you also! She was so nasty! Rude all around, and when the other associate asked her 2 questions, she was so mean to her, and brushed her off!" She didn't help my situation, just gave the phone back saying we can't help you! Should I leave two stars? I can't think of a reason to. Today Krystal refused to cover the restocking fee on a phone her subordinate witnessed not keeping a charge. This fee is $50 and the phone is only a couple days old. Is that too much to be worth keeping a good relationship with a group plan of five? Instead of resolving our problem she used the oldest excuse in the book, that it was out of her hands. Really? A manager especially a sales manager can't help a customer? Then to add insult to injury she tried to tell us to get a refurbished phone and that they are "better". Finally instead of resolving our problem she tried to sell us on three new phones. The first time in my life where I waked into a cell phone store and wasn't feeling as though I was being attacked with sales reps. I will always return here from here on out. I lost my phone and needed a new SIM card for an older phone so people would be at least able to contact me again. I went to 3 different T-Mobile stores and then came to this one and I was so happy I did!! Great customer service! They really went above and beyond to help me!! Switched from Verizon after stopping in here and getting the skinny from an employee, Ryan, about their new "no-contract" business model. Ryan was super helpful and knew what he was talking about. Two weeks later and I'm still happy with the phone and service. I recommend everyone switch to T-Mobile. read more
