I wasn't expecting much since Xfinity/Comcast is rated the worst in customer service, but other than a few minor issues I had, my visit took less than 10 minutes. I signed up for Xfinity online and was sent a box and all that jazz. I hooked it up no problem, but for a month, I would always have these RDK code issues. I would usually just turn off my box, go to bed, and it would be fixed in the morning. Well, not this last time. I went on the app and asked for someone to call me so I didn't have to wait on hold. The app said it would be in 27 minutes, and it was about 10 when I got the callback. Teresa was from Kzoo, spoke English, and I could understand every word she said! Hooray!!!! She told me my box was outdated, and to take it to a store to swap out with a newer model that doesn't have a clock, and if that didn't work, then they would send someone out to the house for free. Again, I went online, found my store, 14 & Van Dyke, and signed up online for an appointment for 3:45 pm the next day. I showed up at 3:42, and no one was at the front desk, so I shimmied over to a side desk where a gentleman said he could check me in. As this was happening, the 'greeter' whose name was Ronette, or something like that, came barreling out of the back storage door, yelling from the back of the store that she could help me, not the gentleman I was talking to. I kept talking to him, and she interrupted us and stated again that she could help me. I said "I guess you trump this guy, huh?" and she said yes. Regardless, she was a bit over-eager and rude about it. This was one thing that annoyed me. It took 5 minutes to call me up for my 3:45 appoint, where the took me at 3:47, not bad. Brandon, a friendly associate came and greeted me and brought me up the counter. He was quick and efficient, but he was chewing gum with his mouth open and chewing while talking. I spit up in my mouth a little cuz I can't stand that, I think it's gross. Customer service representatives shouldn't be smacking gum on the job IMO. I was in my car by 3:52! Other than the rude-ish lady, and the gum-chewing, I have a very pleasant experience. Hopefully, I don't have to go back, but if I do, I will definitely schedule an appointment online. read more

Dealing with Xfinity and their stores can be a hot mess, but my experience getting a replacement cable box for my mother was tremendous. Kim greeted us, helped us cut through any difficulties and had us good to go and out of the store in barely over five minutes. This is where we'll return if there are any further issues. read more

Went to this store 9 times in a month and a half to get a networking issue fixed with my phone. I had to keep restarting the phone or I wouldn't get calls or text. I had to do this on average 5x a day. They sent me to ubreakitwefixit store down vandyke and they asked me why I was being sent there that xfinity knows they cannot fix the phone. I went back to to the store the next day and gave them the report of the test they ran on it. Now they told me I have to send it to Samsung under the manufacturer's warranty. So I sent it to Samsung and went without a phone for a week and got it back and had the same networking issue. I have been paying for insurance on this phone as well and they kept telling me they wouldn't cover it. They kept replacing the sim card and sending me out the door. David told me he would give me a call the next day to see about getting a replacement. He switched the sim card after I sat there for 3 hours and said now they have all the info they need to get me the replacement. Of course next day comes around no call. I had to go back into the store the following day and ask them what happened with calling me. It was the manager and David this time and the manager says what phone call? As he is shaking his head at me. He tells me that its a Samsung issue and there is nothing they can do. I have to wait until the update comes out to fix the bug with the phone. I said so when is the update? They said we don't know. So I told him I am currently paying for a phone I cannot use. I ended up getting a phone from a family member because I was tired of dealing with them and their lies. They just kept giving me the run around. David was a very kind guy but I felt like he was made to keep lying to me to get me out the door. Brittany from that store as well told me there is nothing she can do about the problem if its not happening in front of her. I had screen shots of what the phone was doing. It kept saying it wasn't registered to a network I can only make emergency calls. I had many screenshots of this day after day. She also is a huge problem as she talks very badly about the customers when they leave the store. I highly recommend going to a different store. There is one sweet girl in there I forgot her name that tried her best to help me and she tried calling Verizon for the network issue it but it got no where. I do give her credit though she was very friendly and kind to me and kept apologizing. She said she understood my frustrations and that it was even given her a headache. I also believe they pawned their dirty work off on her so they didn't have to deal with it. She is usually checking people in when I would go in there. read more

Xfinity customer service is horrific I called 15 times to try to get service repaired. No results. When you pay over 3000.00 a year for tv an Internet you would think the one time you needed service Xfinity would be here. But they are not called 15 times hour each time. I've lost 2 days of work getting ready to lose my job. Which by the way is how Xfinity and all my other bills are paid. NO ONE CARES AT XFINITY. Got rid of cable because of the word salad conversations and surprise raises in my bill. A friend says that all will be taken care of and no issues with comcast (xfinity). Install was Wed, and the installer called tech service to say the phone was not available when we were told it was available a month earlier. It didn't work and still doesn't work. New information was that it will be working in 24-48 hours from Wed Feb 8, 2018. 5 days later still not working and Xfinity comcast is doing nothing but talking. They all talk and do nothing. Then they want the customer to do do do, well isn't that why an installer comes to the house? Isn't the installer supposed to make sure the product is working? Not the installers fault when the home office doesn't have their part done. They expect customers to pay for the employees salaries and the services that are not working. They expect customers to pay for all the time it takes to call and say that it's not working and instead of fixing the problem they talk and scapegoat. Blaming those who are not responsible is a severe mental health issue that falls under Anti social personality disorder or Narcissistic personality disorder. Now why on earth would a company want to blatantly display abuse traits? Why would someone continue to work for a company who constantly scapegoats? The installer was kind but can't do his job if the orders to install are not complete by the home office as they should be. 10 year old children can do better than this so why can't this company hire people smarter than a 10 year old? it was great for a while, but in the past 3 years i've upgraded to a 4k Tv which has had me upgrade to the new xfinity 4k box. i've been through 4 of these POS boxes. they're cheap, have no protection to surges and just don't work randomly. i'm posting this before i cancel my 20+ year account with this company and i couldn't be more happier on my outcome decision. please if you have a 4k tv use it as a smart tv do not waste your money on this POS "4k" box. the only positive comment i have for them is that for my last box replacement they offered me a free month of service due to me not being able to even watch it. which was expected but also appreciated. read more

I had 2 issues/ updates with my WIFI that I needed to resolve. I originally went through the generic xfinity customer service phone number/ online chat to submit my requests and follow up on these issues. After over a month of wasting lots of time in the agent chat box and phone calls I stumbled into this Xfinity location merely because I was furniture shopping next door. I had low expectations, assuming no one at a specific location would be able to help me or want to help me. Then I was met by staff member Brandon W. He solved my first issue in less than 5 minutes. Then got permission to override the other request that had been pending for over a month and solved that issue ALSO in less than 5 min. His excellent communication, customer service and enthusiastic personality made my whole week. Thank you for solving my problems, Brandon! I will never go anywhere else! read more

I have an issue with billing at least once a month, and I only just got service in November. Sometimes they are accomodating, other times they are not. Which is really sad they are not accomodating, because their billing department is the cause of the issue, not me. Not sure why, but internet service can be spotty for my Amazon Fire when it's just fine for my laptop and cell phone. read more

First, I have had interactions with Comcast in the past and they were awful. But I heard that they had upped their game regarding customer service so I gave them another try. The set up at this store, with the reps all lined up at stations across the back of the store is horrible. Our rep spent more time making small talk with the reps next to him than he did with setting up our order. Bad design. read more

Customer service was great! There was a little bit of a wait, but when I got to representative I was amazed. They assessed my needs, they found the best plan what works for my needs and my budget. Associate who helped me was more worried that I get the service that I need and was not trying to sell me anything unuseful. I never had better customer service from utility company, especially Cable company. They are much better then any other competitor and they are really working hard to fix their bad reputation.
