I work from home and my computer is my source of income. Ken picked up my computer from my doorstep within 15 minutes of my call to him for help. He was able to repair my computer by cloning the hard drive. He installed the new, faster, hard drive and delivered it to me all in under 2 hours. He also completely cleaned (inside and out) my computer before returning it to me. To say that I recommend Ken and Modern Computer Solutions is an understatement. He saved my day, week, probably month's worth of income that I would have lost if I had to buy a new computer. With chip shortages and skyrocketing inflation, it would probably have cost a fortune to replace it. I brought my Windows laptop to the service department to assess problems with the Thunderbolt 4 port. I paid $50 for the assessment. When I received the machine back, the tech notes indicated that he had examined only the USB-C port, not the Thunderbolt 4 controller upstream. I was not happy. I called the service manager, Damian, to tell him what happened. Damian not only refunded my $50 but told me to bring my laptop in the next day for a Thunderbolt 4 assessment while I waited. The assessment was done quickly and Damian himself explained the results to me. I was very impressed at how Damian took ownership of the original mistake and took steps to make it right. I plan to make Micro Center my go-to store for computer purchase and repair.
