This review is about their location as a UPS Access Point…read more This store is where a lot of my packages get delivered if I'm not home. It's close to my house so that's not a problem, but their hours and dreadful customer service really makes this a terrible place to quickly pick up packages. While they are a UPS Access Point, they are a business first. The first time I came in to pick up a package there were two employees working -- I've never seen more than two employees here -- and they were both occupied helping other customers buy phones and start brand new plans. I don't know about you, but if you've ever bought a new phone AND signed up for a new plan at the same time, it can be a lengthy ordeal. And I get it, of course they're gonna help out the customers there first, I wasn't there to sign up for a new plan or buy anything. But they would've never known that because I wasn't greeted or acknowledged until one of the customers left. Luckily I came in at the end of that transaction and waited *only* 15 minutes with no communication from either employee because they could've really kept me waiting a whole lot longer. I was helped with no apology, got my package, and was on my way. I may sound a little impatient but honestly would've had no problem waiting if I was just talked to or treated like a normal customer. The second time I came here in the morning to find that the store was closed. It was 9:30 am and this location doesn't open until 10 am. My bad, I should've checked the hours before coming. It was only 30 minutes so I decided to just wait in my car. I figured someone was probably inside opening up the store and getting it ready and would open the doors to the public at 10 am. Wrong. About 10-15 minutes after their opening time I watched a woman come and unlock the front doors. I waited a few more minutes before going inside because I didn't want to overwhelm the employee but in hindsight I shouldn't have waited. Is it wrong to expect a business to open on time? Mmm, no. Now, I've had a package that UPS has been trying to deliver to this location for SIX DAYS. Looking at my UPS tracking shows me that every time they've tried to deliver this package, MetroPCS has been closed. Some days UPS arrived way before opening, therefore being unable to drop off my package. Three days ago they tried to deliver it at 10:02 am, but the store was closed. Mind you, the business hours state that they open up at 10 am. I'm starting to think this store opening late is a normal thing for them, which I would suggest the business either hire new employees that can get to work on time, or the store to just like, not be a UPS Access Point!! Obviously, I'm unhappy with all of my experiences with this store and picking up my packages. So, my mom offered to pick up this package that I've been waiting on for almost a week now. The store requires you to show your ID when picking up packages (understandable), and the employees tonight did not allow her to pick up my package. Although my name is on the package, we share the same address and were told by another employee last week that my mom would be able to pick up my package. However, that was not the case tonight. SO! My package is still at MetroPCS and I'll have to go get it tomorrow. Overall, this place lacks courteous and timely employees and is quite an inconvenience for both customers and UPS, I'm sure. I'm currently looking into how I can redirect my packages to another access point down the street that's open 24 hours.

I have had an easy enough time with my old metro store employees applying that discount to my bill and didn't even realize how good I had it in comparison. The first issue that started this whole shit show in motion happened when I went in on a Sunday afternoon to open a new account using a pixel 4 I'd bought used on Swappa. I was unfortunately helped by Alex, an employee that is so bad at his job that when I came back and the other employees were dealing with the problem on my account they both knew I'd been helped by Alex.... They told me'd screwed up my account without a doubt and that it's just one more issue to add to the list of things Alex does that they have to later try to fix. Side note, my first attempt I went in with my mom and Alex thought it appropriate or good customer service to flirt with her creepily, not cool for me, her son but I am unsure if my mom was also weirded out or ambivalent. She's in her 60s, beautiful and very self assured and doesn't need some chubby 20 something to know it. Back to my first time there,: Alex went through setting up my new metro PCs account while I made my online ACP program account and before putting the sim into the phone he forgot to check it. Turned out I'd gotten a broken phone from Swappa that refused to recognize the sim. Alex reassured me that although he had used my benefit on the account he ended up needing to cancel I would be free to use it again when I came back in with a different phone as long as I have them a few days for my ACP to cancel/refund. So I returned my phone to the dealer online and bought a different one from a used phone store in federal way and went back. This time I got Kathy who was way worse than Alex in that she didn't even try to pretend to give a damn if they kept my business or if they fixed the Alex which is now my word for mistake. I brought my new phone in, we got it all set up only when she tried the ACP discount code it wouldn't work. It had been used and I will not get mg 30 dollar discount no matter what this month and apparently Alex was full of it and just trying to weasel out of telling me. Kathy had me call ACP on her phone and refused to talk to them like the dead eyed business driver away that she is, so I had to try to explain to the ACP rep (super helpful and nice btw) my circumstances and hope he had a solution. His solution was obvious, the employee working for MetroPCS screwed up and therefore if they were actually sorry or want to help they should manually take $30 off my bill until next month when my discount works again. Kathy told my mom and me that if I came back on a weekday she could call their supervisor who doesn't actually work at the store, and he would make this whole mess go away and blah blah blah. So today, almost a week later, I make time to go by metro and to my delight the dream team is working together today. Alex is busy helping a woman pay her bill so I go to Kathy expecting her to at least feign to attempt to help me. Most ppl in customer service are at least going to do something to make you think they are on your side even if they aren't but not Kathy. She looked at me with those dead, doll eyes and said as soon as I stepped into the store "yeah, you're not going to get your money back." She explained that she called their regional guy and he wasn't gonna help. When I asked to speak to him she refused to help or give me his number. When i asked if they were corporate she said no franchise so I asked to speak to or get the owners info and was refused. Basically it boils down to their incompetent actions screwing me out of $30 and getting paid by the ACP program for a discount I did not receive. It's gotta be some type of fraud but this is already more energy or thought than I should waste on those two dim examples of exactly not the type of person fit for working with customers directly and I'm over it. Save money, time and most importantly your energy and go anywhere else for your prepaid. ACP is awesome and I'm grateful that basically every pre paid and a few contract phone services are part of it so I won't be stuck with this shit.

He did both machines in less than a day and the transfer of programs was altogether seamless. I still am amazed at how smoothly it all went, and how my entire system copied over to the new machine with all the same context menus, file paths, and personal configurations like customized toolbars and procedures. This would have taken an eternity to do all from scratch by myself. The old components included a hard drive that failed, and Mike was able to recover and transfer the data to a new modern SSD. During another visit, Mike set up a new wireless mesh network for not just our house but our whole property. It was a massive improvement in network performance. We can even connect from our boat! Again, Mike saved us a ton of time and a lot of headaches. He did the setup and tweaking in one hour. He does not dally or pad his visits, and makes himself available for questions and followup, without ever acting impatient or put upon. His scheduler Bev is also very easy to reach and even returns calls and email messages after hours. I could have wound up with any computer tech but was completely lucky to get Mike Cole on the first try. I highly recommend Cole Computer Services and wouldn't think of hiring another company. (Mike, you are not allowed to move away!)
