Went to help my friend buy a new cell phone. We worked with Ariah, he was fabulous with us old ladies. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and set up the new phone and was very kind to us. After a few days my friend needed some help so we went back and again fortunately for us got Ariah again once again he was so patient with us, fixed the problem totally and this young man is really knowledgeable and above and beyond helpful. The manager of this store needs to learn how to schedule employees. The person working was with two clients. Saturdays are busy days. Plus, the guy did not even acknowledge us. Customer service 101. No matter how busy you are, you look at customers and say 'I'll be with you in a bit'. That's all it takes. After 15 minutes, he decided to tell us that his coworker is running late. Wow. I recently upgraded my phone. I had an accident and recently broke both my ankles. On May 14th my SIL and I went to return my old phone. He went in with my phone to drop it off and explained the situation including that I was in the car. They informed him that I had to come in and bring the phone in myself or they could try and add him to my account. They had between 4 to 5 employees standing around. They insisted that I had to come into the store, my SIL walked out to help me out of the car and scooter on in with the 2 broken ankles. My issue is they could have had one of the 5 employees come out to the car or ask us to park in the reserved parking to help a longtime customer out in this particular situation. I went into the store to talk to them about switching from my carrier to Verizon. I walked over to the young man who was alone in the store with no other customers. Here's how that went: Me : Hi, I wanted to get some information about switching to Verizon from AT&T. I have two iPhone 10s. Him (not standing up) : Are your phones compatible with Verizon, and unlocked? Me : I'm not sure, how do I find out? Him : You can call customer service and they'll check your IMEI. Me : Can you do that? Him : Yeah, but it's a lot easier for them. Me : So you want me to go home and call them? Him : That would be the easiest way. Apparently getting new customers was way too much of a bother for him. read more

Worst customer service ever. We wanted to upgrade one of our phones and after completing all the work and signing the contract, they processed our credit card but for some reason the transaction did not finish on their side. I showed them the charge in pending state on our credit card but they could not give us the phone we just paid for. They tried 2 more times without being able to finish the transaction on their side. The manager offered a $40 credit for the trouble but no new phone. We had them reverse everything and reactivate the old phone and we went to the Covington store. I now have 3 $100+ transactions to contest with our credit card company. Oh and we wasted an hour . If I could give them a zero rating it would be better read more

Great customer service by the new manager. I needed a new phone case for my iPhone 7plus because the lifeproof case I had muffled the sound. She showed me all the options, listened to my concerns and pointed me to a great case and screen protector for a reasonable price. Even installed the screen protector for me. Mitchell found a work around for me to get a $100 discount on my new phone. I had been told by two other Verizon representatives that there were no discounts I qualified for. Bill helped me get my new phone set up and running. Both of them were great. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. My mother and I went into this Verizon in hopes to just change her data plan. Somehow the guy helping us, believe his name was Kevin, got my mom to upgrade her phone and to purchase a tablet that was on a promotion for 99 cents to purchase and only $15 a month. My mom mentioned NUMEROUS times how she did not want to be in a contract. Kevin specifically told us that there was no contract and that she could stop services on the tablet at any time. The guy didn't even give her a receipt. We had to turn around and go back to get one. It wasn't until we stopped by a different location to quickly purchase a phone case when the guy told my mom there actually is a contract for 2 years on the tablet but if she wanted to she could go back to the location and return it. So today we go in and speak with Mitchell who is the most unprofessional, rude and disrespectful person. He charged us a $75 restocking fee which was never disclosed when she purchased the tablet and when we voiced our concerned about it, His words were "ma'am I do not need to return this item for you I could refuse and you would just be stuck with it" he refused to give his name. And stated it was against policy for employees to give out their name. Instead of trying to be helpful he decided to sit there and find ways to argue. All in all Verizon is about to lose a faithful and long time customer due to Mitchell and Kevin at the maple valley store. I highly recommended anyone needing help to go to the store in Covington. They have so much more respect for their customers. read more

Called twice to ask about screen repair. No answer.

Zero stars was not an option or it would be a zero for sure. Had several issues including not being told there was a fee being charged for transferring data, not given a receipt, told wrong information about two other things. Called manager and he had a major attitude and did not resolve the issue at all. Taking it all back and starting over at a real store. Don't waste your time there. read more
