I encountered a horrid employee (younger Latina female with dark longish hair) which is actually an understatement. There was an elderly gentleman and the horrid employee inside the empty store. The elder was trying to remove an extra line that was added and charged for without his consent. After a couple of minutes I interrupted the employee and asked if I could return a few accessories that I purchased at the Long Beach location (Verizon/Victra). Her tone and attitude was brusque. I answered her question to what I was returning and waited for her to finish with elder. As she spoke with him, her impertinence was obvious. There was a strong indication that she did not want to help either of us. She asked the elder to "click on the link" on his phone. He didn't hear her or understood...so, she abruptly said, "click on the link!" I couldn't believe my ears. She then turns to me and said, "you can't return that here." Wait, what?! I asked why and she stated that all locations have different inventory. She didn't look inside my bag...how would she know?! I got up from where I was sitting and told her that I didn't like the way she was talking to the elder and that she was unprofessional. I asked for her name and reported the incident to Verizon's customer care. I have never experienced such verbal insensitivity towards customers. This employee is either waiting to be fired or simply toxic. Beware! I recommend going to a Verizon corporate store and not Verizon/Victra. Victra is a third-party who is an authorized retailer for Verizon. The culture of Verizon corporate stores are much more appealing and professional.

I did some research over the legitimacy of this claim and found that the recent t-mobile merger with metro pcs is going to have A LOT of the older phone models permanently disconnected from their service after July 1, 2015. I checked online and discovered that my old LG Spirit was worth 99.99$ (hooray!) in trade in credit towards a new phone, so I wasn't too upset with the whole thing. I visited this metro pcs store because it was the closest corporate store to my house, and I'm sure glad that I did. I waited about an hour in line, but I expected some sort of wait, so I brought a book. What I didn't expect however was such excellent customer service! An employee who shall remain nameless, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly in the trade-in-credit field. Which I would assume might be considered complicated to some, seeing as how my receipt was about two feet long! By the end of my time with this employee after watching them work their magic, I had traded in my two year old LG Spirit for the new ZTE ZMAX (which the employee had previously put on reserve for me), a Bluetooth headset, a pair of headphones, a portable mini speaker, a 32GB Micro SD card, phone case + screen protector, and a portable battery pack, all for the grand total of $25. So if you're looking for a good deal and you're trading in your old phone, look no further, because it looks like this store is looking to get rid of old (and new) inventory.

They asked me to go into the corporate store. The number for the corporate store was disconnected. Their phone number listed on Yelp was also disconnected. I had AT&T internet. It wasn't good. And when they started raising the prices for four months…read morestraight until it was well over 100 a month (like 125?) I had had enough. Enough of the interference, of the cutting out regularly, internet going off so I had to reset it all the time, all of it. So, I already had Metro phone service, so I went over to a local store to ask about their internet. I was helped by a guy named ACE. And he definitely was "aces" in my book. After being abused by AT&T and Verizon (I won't even GO to one of their stores anymore), I was really welcomed by Metro PCS. Ace explained all about the device, how to hook it up and all that. He programmed it for me, arranged auto payment for me--and I was out the door for only $65 dollars which included a service charge, but now I'm paying only $45 a month for TERRIFIC internet service. $40 with auto pay!! Ace was also on hand for any followup questions I had, but there were none. He did a GREAT job. I brought it home, plugged it in, did a few easy things on the computer, and I'm good to go. So far so good with Metro PCS. And if you go to the store in San Pedro, CA, ask for ACE. You won't be disappointed.
