I'm a new customer who switched over from Verizon 2 weeks ago on 11/19/24. *side note* I went to a different location on that day, but my goal was still the same: get a new number and a newer iPhone coz my 8+ has about HAD IT with me! However, my lack of knowledge and subsequent indecision got the upper hand in that situation; I couldn't really decide which iPhone I wanted and - although the employee at that location was nice and pleasant to speak with - unfortunately he couldn't really answer my questions or provide much info about the differences in features, so I finally said I just wanted to do more research at home. He told me I had 30 days to decide if I'd like to get a new phone via some kind of deal with a bill credit over 24 months. So. Last night, I went to this T-Mobile location and 2 employees told me conflicting information; one employee said I had 14 days and the other said, "I'm pretty sure it's 30." After a little back and forth, with one employee confirming details online, both of them eventually said they can't help me so I would need to call 611 and have customer care complete the order for my new phone. Wait, what? After I left the store, I called 611 on my uncle's phone, waited on hold for almost 40 min and followed the silly tele-prompts to "guess this song!" (to distract me from the crushing realization that many minutes of my precious life are just ticking away on this call), before hanging up in frustration. I called again later and waited on hold for almost an hour before I finally hung up. I couldn't get ahold of anybody to help me get a new iPhone and I still really want one... My experience with this store and overall as a new T-Mobile customer has been fairly disappointing thus far. read more

Great, prompt service from very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Had an absolutely terrible experience from the staff at a different T Mobile store located on 95th street in Overland Park, particularly from the assistant manager, Chris (male, short with glasses), and the manager, also Chris (female, with short hair and tattoos on her knuckles). The assistant manager was very unfriendly and unpleasant to deal with, including by ignoring me and attending to customers behind me, and the manager completely disregarded my concerns and instead tried to sweep it under the rug and asking me if I would like to try a different store that had a shorter wait (I was not at all concerned with the wait, but rather the poor service and attitude). But this store at 151st in Oletha was awesome! Highly recommend it. read more

We were so glad to see a new location open near us. We had been going to the one on 119th St. after the location in the Great Mall closed. This location is not nearly as busy as the other location so we were helped right away. I have noticed that some workers are pushier than others when it comes to selling other products. Fortunately, the one I wasn't working with wasn't overly pushy. He just casually mentioned some new products for the home, which sounded cool, but we already had products we were happy with. So far both of our experiences here have been great! read more

I went in to a Russel communication to get a prepaid phone. I was charged $540 for a screen protector a phone cover and a charger. I need $860 phone I was supposedly giving a $700 credit for a trade-in which is a joke because they stuck me in a 30 month contract did I said when I walked in I did not what I wanted to pay my shit in full. I was told for porting my number I would get $1000 visa gift card guess what another lie. Russell communication along with Verizon and T-Mobile are ripping you off if anybody else is had this trouble please let me know. I don't know about you all but I'm really tired of cell phone companies not having to follow the truth in advertising laws. I would not recommend this company to a rock. Maybe if you paid your employees a living wage they wouldn't have to rip people off for commissions they wouldn't have to lie to people for commissions. read more

Always...ALWAYS expect a wait at this location. ALSO...they are in a quiet WAR with the people at the (800)#. Both sides offer different plans and sometimes products. This is a "retail" location driven to make money. I saw a guy buy a 6' cord for an iPhone for $36.00! They are here to profit from you more than "help" you. Some of the staff is pleasant. But then again...so are a few IRS agents. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I noticed a discrepancy on my account and was on the phone with customer care for 3 hours they said I needed to go in store and once I got there I spoke with a tall dark haired male who basically yelled at me to, in short, "shut up and pay my bill". I didn't ask for any help or anything all I asked for was facts to better understand my bill and the man started yelling at me saying he "can't have sympathy for me". While speaking with customer service you'll receive different numbers every time you ask about what you were charged and if you ask why you were charged that amount they say they don't know and try to transfer you. When you go in the store they refuse to help you with anything and push you to call customer service. I received only demeaning comments, and absolutely no help. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! If I could give them negative stars I would read more
