Nothing I was told during the purchase disabused me of that notion. But when the console died on me less than three months later, the people at he same store told me that it was well past the SEVEN DAY trial period and since I had not bought a warranty, there was nothing they could or would do for me. I questioned them and found out that the console had probably been a trade-in and they had seen it work when they fired it up and figured that was good enough to sell it for $160 to a chump like me. Should I have questioned them more before I bought? Sure. Should I have been less trusting? Absolutely. Will I do business with GameStop in the future? Not just no, but HELL NO!

When we walked into the store we were not greeted by anyone we sat at a table expecting 1 of the 4 employees to come greet us that never happened. The manager and 2 employees were to occupied with what ever he had on his laptop the 4th employee was with a customer. When I decided to leave I walked over to them and asked if there was another store that could help me since they were ignoring me and instead of asking what I needed they told me where another store was. I have been a customer of att since 1992 and have spent a lot of money on your products to be treated the way we were. I purchased a 98" TCL QM7K Open-Box Excellent TV that was listed as available. After spending…read morenearly two hours on the phone and speaking with eight different representatives, I was ultimately told the TV was never actually in inventory. Because it was an open-box item, Best Buy declined to honor the purchase price on a new unit or offer a comparable replacement. The employees I spoke with were consistently kind, professional, and genuinely wanted to help. My frustration is not with them. They seemed limited by the systems and policies they had to work within. The process itself was incredibly frustrating. I received conflicting information from multiple representatives, was told my surround sound system and wall mount couldn't be canceled, yet I was able to submit a cancellation request myself through the app. I was also directed to replacement inventory that turned out to be located in Iowa and Minnesota rather than anywhere near me. Inventory mistakes happen. What left a bad impression was the lack of a practical solution after the purchase had already been completed. From a customer perspective, it felt like I was being pushed away from the deal I had legitimately purchased and toward paying significantly more for the same TV. I was prepared to spend several thousand dollars at Best Buy, but after this experience I chose to take my business elsewhere. The employees deserved better tools to help customers, and customers deserve a smoother process when something goes wrong.

I ordered it again through Apple after canceling the order. I show up to Apple and I was having security issues with my account did not have access to a phone and was unable to get my phone. I called ATT Four times and talked to a different person each time for up to 20 minutes. When I initially walked into the store and it was my turn to speak with somebody, they told me there wasn't much they could do help. I would likely have to wait 24 hours to bypass some type of security issue with the account and I didn't have 24 hours because number one the government is shut down. I'm not getting paid and I've already spent so much money three times getting a phone online and I'm on call. I put my head down in the store and started bawling. And then Roger came to the rescue. Roger is the manager and Roger knows what he's doing. He actually cares about you. I never thought that at 33 years old that I would have a public crash out at a cell phone store, but I did. Roger bypassed the security knew exactly what to do in a matter of 10 minutes handed me an iPhone 17 turned it on how did everything transfer transferred. Helped me pay for it. Handed me a box of tissues and a glass of water. This man probably provides cell phones to Jesus I'm almost certain He has an instant swipe card into heaven. I promise you he does. I left the store with the iPhone, while Apple because I had to go to that store twice was blaming my cell phone carrier for all the issues instead of helping me. I just had to dog on apple for a minute because they're terrible. They're getting a review too. But Roger saved the day I had a case, A screen protector that they put on in the store for me, and a water bottle. Roger was mentally and emotionally more supportive to me than my own parents have ever been in my entire lifetime. And if corporate sees this, you better give Roger the fattest raise because not only did he take care of me, but he helped me facilitate caring for our soldiers
