I was having difficulty with the ordering form. I called ULine customer service for help. Rebecca T. from Dallas Texas was extremely helpful. She needs to be commended for her professional, helpful assistance. The next afternoon my wife and I drove to pickup our order in Lacy, Washington. Ian was at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful and helped load our order into our trailer. Being handicapped, I really appreciate help from other people. Both Rebecca and Ian deserve more than a pat on the back. Furthermore, a company structure that hires this caliber of personnel should be admired and supported. We need more companies like this! Worked here for 6 months and probably the worst place I have ever worked for. You have to wear special sleeves to cover your tattoos even though you don't interact with customers. No listening to music. You have to leave your phone in your locker. You just stand in one spot and pack orders like a zombie and they progressively make goals harder to hit. To top it all off, they took my final paycheck to cover sick leave that i used that they GAVE me. read more

Best prices, no question. Having one of the distributions centers in Auburn means that if I order it today and it's in the warehouse, UPS drops it at my door tomorrow. If I'm really in a hurry, I can drive down, but generally next day is good enough for me. I buy bubble mailing envelopes by the case. Not only do they have phenomenal pricing on the majority of their goods, but they offer same day pick-up, are at a relatively accessible location for me, and they have really great hours. I am so glad that I found ULINE in Seattle, it has been an incredible costs-savings, as a result. Everyone that I have talked to has been very helpful, and their direct line customer service (through the landlines in the will-call area) are prompt, polite, and also very helpful. Getting there: When you are driving in from the North you will actually drive to the end of the massive warehouse, and turn right into the parking lot at the edge of their property line. There is a small "Will Call Pick-Up" sign close to the ground, so it's easy to miss. You will go in towards the building and turn right into the small parking area near the bay doors (the giant warehouse doors). I can not say enough good things about ULINE. If you are looking for affordable packing, shipping, retail and general supplies, you should absolutely request a catalog. Seriously. Also, I might be a slight shipping/packaging nerd. read more

She knows me by name and always has my order ready whenever I come to pick up. she is so friendly and personable too so its nice to have people there that aren't robots. she always helps me load my vehicle with my huge orders and always asks me how I am. Sadly this warehouse is moving to Lacey which to me is the dumbest idea considering Auburn is right in the middle and right there so I will not be picking up anymore .They pride themselves on customer service. The people rating this place low have obviously never worked in customer service and don't realize things happen. There is a younger asian female who works here who always looks annoyed and pissed off. Please make sure to stop hiring people like that. They bring the atmosphere down. read more

Incredibly sad that this local business is deliberately hitting small businesses like myself with the $25 pick up fee and outrageous shipping costs. I agree with others, raise the price a bit on boxes instead. I purchase small/medium boxes for my business in Gig Harbor (45 minutes away) totaling $55. It's either $52 in shipping (UPS ground) OR I can pay $25 plus gas, time, bridge tolls, to drive out there and pick it up??? I'll have to start looking elsewhere. read more

I used to think this was a pretty cool company, But when I wanted to pick up an order that was less than $300 they charged me a fee of $25. That's like a grocery store charging you to check you out. It was only $17 to ship the item. Makes no sense at all to ship it they still have to pull it and label it and ship it, with pick up All they have to do is pull it. I used Uline for years, and was previously happy with their quality of product and customer service. A few years ago I noticed the prices going up and the quality going way down for some of the items I regularly ordered. Fast forward to this past week and not only was the quality of my newest order abysmal - but the replacement was even worse. To top this off, they delayed issuing a call tag and charged my card without any authorization for a replacement. I searched out other places to find the items I need and found them at 1/4 the price at Amazon. (not to mention Amazon doesn't gouge on shipping) You may also wish to research the politics of this company. I will NEVER work with this company again. read more

I always found the Uline shipping charges much higher than any other suppliers online. So it was very helpful having the Uline warehouse minutes from my house as without the shipping charge. I could get my supplies a little cheaper if I went and picked them up myself. However, they now added a $25 pickup charge on orders under $300. So let me get this straight. You have lots of business from loyal customers so you add a charge as a punishment for our business just because we live close and can come pick things up? I work in marketing and public relations and this is a horrible horrible move. Why didn't you just raise your prices a bit? Its not like I am going to pay to have things shipped the 3 blocks to my house and I am not going to pay a $25 charge to pick up some boxes that only cost $30. And when I was there the loading dock was never "congested". Obviously a ridiculous decision from upper management who only see $$ in their eyes and don't see the message this sends to their small business customers - "We don't really care about you unless you are spending $300". Greed wins again. I can now get the supplies I need off Ebay or Amazon for less. So long Uline - it was good while it lasted. . . read more

This place is amazing. We were on a tight deadline at work and I needed some foam. I had no idea that you were able to go down and pick the item up. They were so helpful over the phone and in person. I will be doing more business with them in the future. If you place an order before 6 pm it it shipped that day and you will have it the next day. Placed an order over the phone for pickup- I drove down to Auburn, just when the order said it was going to be ready. I walked into the will call area, presented my order confirmation, and after double checking her computer system, she asked me to back my car up to the loading dock. She brought my order out within 5 minutes and helped me load my car. Easy peasy! read more

A once great company, starting to be dragged down by new management ideas. I received an email today announcing a new $25 charge just to pick up an order, if it's less than $300 in value. The message here is very clear; small businesses are no longer welcome at Uline. They claim their docks are too congested with customers trying to purchase things. Great companies find a way to deal with the problem of "too much congestion". Do you know what the grocery store does? They open another checkout line. They don't start charging extra fees to the people with 10 items or less. Sometimes those 10-items customers come back and buy a lot more, just on a different day. Maybe the Uline managers should try working in retail for a year. They seem to have forgotten (or never learned) that having people come in to purchase things is a good problem to have. Goodbye Uline, message received, I will no longer darken your door with my $200 purchases. read more

I don't like to give bad reviews, and I only rarely do so. However, Uline is deserving of an angry dressing down today, in my opinion. I ordered 4" convoluted foam sheets. I *thought* that I ordered 4 boxes of 4 sets of foam (2 pieces per set) for a total of 32 pieces. I thought this because that is what Uline's packaging and quantity descriptions led me to believe. 32 pieces for about $122 or so, plus shipping. When I received my order, there were only 8 pieces delivered. I called the company to see what the problem was, and was informed that I misread and/or misunderstood their chart, and that I got 8 pieces of foam, exactly what I paid for. When I protested, saying that the chart was misleading and quite possibly designed to be misleading because a reasonable person could not have understood the chart as they claim it should have been understood without additional missing information supplied over the phone, the agent had nothing further to add. After clarifying, Uline's foam sheets were priced at a whopping $15 a sheet, a ridiculously expensive price for packing foam. Very, very disappointed. Moral of the story: if you have to do business with Uline, make sure you call and get your order quantities clarified before paying. read more

I placed an order and it didn't arrive when I expected. I e-mailed customer service (at 4:30pm on a holiday week) asking for an update - they called me 10 minutes later! The customer service rep was on the phone with the delivery driver and stated he was still in our area and could make the delivery tonight. There had been some mix-up earlier, apparently they attempted delivery but said we weren't home and that they left a voicemail, even though I was home all day waiting for the order. Customer service said they would tell the driver to knock extra loud, I said we have a long driveway so I'll keep an eye on the street as well and thanked them for the quick update. 3 minutes later they called back to let me know the exact location of the driver and that it would be about an hour and half until he made it to our place. The customer service rep said she didn't want me to have to wait and look for the order for any longer than I already had. Amazing customer service!! And great products at a great value! One of the items we bought was packing peanuts which cost approx. $24 at Uline - at office depot the same amount of peanuts would have cost us $164!!! read more

This used to be a great place for the small business owner to place an order online and then immediately drive down to pick up. However, a newly instated $25 will call fee on orders under $300 for the privilege of driving down to your warehouse "to help ease the congestion on the docks" is a questionable business decision at best. I'm happy to do my part in easing that congestion by shopping elsewhere. This is surprising for a company who markets itself to the small businessman. I'm out. read more
