We really liked this store. Alanna was amazing! She spent a LONG time with us to make sure we got everything we wanted and wasn't in a hurry to move us on. She made everything easy and crystal clear. She even had us bring our old smartphones in and we got $300 dollars EACH for our OLD smartphones just for signing up! We are sitting at home with new iPads and iPhones 6s and couldn't be happier. Wish I could give negative stars, worst Verizon store in Olympia. and it's a corporate store. after 3 failed visits over 2 weeks, and no solutions, I went to the TCC authorized Verizon retailer in Olympia (a few miles away), and Taylor M had it figured out in 15 minutes, transferred everything and had me on the road in an hour or so. Since there is no way to reply to the stores reply, I'd like to share that no one ever followed up or called back or did anything to alleviate the damage they did, just as I suspected, they would ignore it as they have every other attempt I've ever made to resolve something with them. I'm done. My service was deplorable. Upon complaining the first time they didn't listen. They kept charging $128 per month yet I had dropped calls, muddy connections that consistently broke up. On recommendation from a friend I had a second phone I owned connected to MINT MOBILE. Exceptional call quality, excellent customer service, at one third what I pay Verizon. I am leaving Verizon for good this time. No more second chances. I'm also taking hundreds of people with me as I will convince them not to do business with Verizon either. I am grateful for the person who alerted me to another option. There's no excuse for the way I was treated by Verizon and I will not be paying my bill beyond what I reasonably owe. The most condescending staff I have ever encountered. Made an appointment in store, was told it would be 45 mins and they would call. Waited an hour, went back to see how much longer and staff tried to put us back on the queue. Corporate sent us to the store to show death certificate to stop a phone. The staff refused to help and I sat in store talking to corporate (5-6 different agents) for 2 hours. Staff refuse to cooperate with its own corporate (call center), leaving us not only dealing with a death but the frustration of a company who does not have internal communication. I have been to this Verizon store twice and will not return. The staff is so rude and act like they hate their jobs and the customers. I just purchased a new phone there and was sold a car charger that didn't fit my new phone. The male employees that was selling the phone to me and the accessories was irritable when I would ask questions. I was sold a car charger that doesn't even fit the iPhone that I purchased so I had to go in and return it today. The Verizon employee that helped me today was so rude even the person I was with commented on how rude and unfriendly he was. I decided not to purchase the correct cord and car charger for my phone because of the customer service. The Verizon male employee said the credit would be credited back to my Verizon account. I said I wanted it credited back to my credit card because that's how I purchased it. I had to ask for a receipt and it doesn't even show on the receipt that has been credited back to my credit card. I got the rude Verizon employees name from another employee and will be following up with the store if it doesn't go back to the original payment method. I will take my business elsewhere for any accessories or phones from now on after two terrible experiences there. read more

Went in to the store to add another line and was helped by a boy named Adam. Things went well until I mentioned the deal I received from another store. Then he got this smug smile on his face and continued to tell me I was wrong. Told him this was thru am authorized retailer not a Verizon owned store in which he then stated how long he has worked at Verizon and I was wrong with one of those smiles that says your an idiot and he knows everything look. At which time I had enough as I was there, thankfully with my 76-year-old mother. As I was not sure in which way he would have tried to take advantage of her. As we all know now Adam knows it all, and everyone else is stupid. I've never been so insulated in customer service in my life. It was everything in me not to put his little smiling face over my knee . As he needs to learn to show respect to elders. The proper way to handle a situation like this, Adam, when u think a customer is incorrect is not to treat them like ur a know it all. U simply say this. Thank you for sharing this offer. I am not seeing this offer in our store. But I would be happy to look into it for you. At that time you could have contacted the other Verizon store and found out what the offer was, before making judgment. You have a lot to learn if you're going to work in customer service. The customer experience attempts to copy the Mac stores but Verizon can't disguise its big telecommunications roots. They aren't hip, just a necessary hurdle to getting your cool iPhone 6. We arrived and were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We asked if we could come back and the manager Anthony said yes. We came back in 40 minutes and Anthony was like, "there are still 6 people ahead of you it will be another 40 minutes." So we left for 15 and decided to wait in the store. After waiting what seemed to be forever and the manager oddly seeming to avoid us, we asked how long our wait is...the guy said, "hmmm. Looks like your not on the list. I'll put you back on. You guys are next." Wtf? But fine. After being told we were "next" we see the manager help other people. I asked "are we still next?" The manager said, "No. you have 4 people ahead of you." I said, "we were told that we were next." He said, "No you weren't!" My husband and I said "Yes we were!" He said "Not by me you weren't!" My husband pointed to the man signing people in and said "He told us we were next."So the manager says, "well he's not in charge!" My husband then said, "This is bad business practice." And the manager said, "Actually it's not." So my husband said, "Oh I just have a doctorate in business, I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. You're right." When we were finally helped we told them we were upgrading our daughters phone as a surprise for her birthday. We got the new IPhone 11 pro. We kept telling them we would be giving it to her on her birthday in two weeks. What does Verizon do? They sent a text to her saying she got the new iPhone!!! So the second we walked in the door she says, "Thanks for the new iPhone 11!" So after waiting nearly 2 hours and dealing with an unprofessional jerk, they text my daughter about her new phone! read more

Last night I bought a usb cord for my Iphone and they were going to charge me 41.37 $ for the cord that sells for 4.99 online. I will never buy from this store again , nor will I ever have service with this company. They rob their customers of everything they have and provide a horrible service. I ordered my new phone online and had it delivered to my home so I wouldn't have to go in store. When my phone arrived it wouldn't go past the very first set up screens. I took it to a Verizon store and they tried to get it started, but quickly said there is a problem with the software on the phone. They directed me to this corporate Verizon store that was authorized to exchange my phone for the same model. I go to the corporate store and have to wait 30 mins+. My salesperson brings out the new phone and starts the exchange. For some reason there is a tax of $11.20 for the exchange. He asks his manager, Kenderick, if he can waive the tax, and the manager says no. I'm very upset. I already paid the taxes on the phone when I ordered it. I know it's wrong, but I pay it so I can leave. Of course I call Verizon next day and they refund the $11. The manager needs a lesson in common sense and customer service. read more

I'm basing this off one trip to this store. I've been with AT&T since 2009, and even still had their unlimited data plan. Unfortunately that data plan was throttled to near unusable speeds after about 5GB of data usage. Verizon does not offer unlimited data plans to new customers, but it is still possible to acquire one by either finding a friend with one who is willing to transfer ownership of the phone line with an unlimited data feature attached, or you can also buy them on eBay for $200-$500. Verizon is required by LAW to not throttle their LTE network, hence the reason I chose to jump ship from AT&T and go to Verizon. The process of transferring ownership and contractual obligations for a Verizon line/account is called assumption of liability. You MUST do this over the phone in order to retain the unlimited data feature. You cannot just walk into a STORE to get actual Verizon customer service. They are trained for one thing, and one thing only. To SELL you new products. Now I got my unlimited data plan from my friend and after I had that line added to my existing Verizon account with another line, I then went into this store to upgrade that already existing line and port over two other lines from AT&T. Didn't have any issues at with getting new iPhone 5's, nor did I have any issues with porting the other numbers. The woman did try to sell me their insurance bs and cases, but I wouldn't have any of that and I let her know that. Now, all three AT&T phone lines were only 8 months into their contracts, and I had a near $1,000 final bill coming as the early termination fees were still relatively high. Due to AT&T recently introducing their new $0.61 "administrative" fee, It's certainly still possible (at least until the end of June) to argue you way out of paying any of the ETFs. Which I did have success doing by emailing their CEO and receiving a response back from their Customer Appeals Executive Branch department. In the end, I'm a happy camper with my actual unlimited LTE Verizon data plan, as well as the option to add on unlimited LTE tethering. And because I was able to get out of AT&T's ETFs, I will come out ahead on $$$ after selling my three old iPhones on eBay. Just a side note to anyone thinking of buying an unlimited plan, you are not able to use the line's upgrade to get a subsidized device. You would need to pay for your phone at full price ($600+), use an upgrade on another existing line on your family plan, or simply add on a line to your existing nationwide family plan. This CANNOT be done if you already have a share everything plan. read more

We were With Verizon for many years. But over time there customer service and cell signal Began to suck big time. Last January we went into the Olympia Store to upgrade our phones. They would not help us transfer data and would not install protective face covers on the phones. That was the last straw so we went across the mall and went with AT&T. We cancelled all of our Verizon service at that time. However they continued to do withdrawals from our bank account. When you call these clowns on the phone you can expect to wait over an hour to get to talk to a live person. Then when you get them on the phone they tell you how sorry they are and do nothing for you. As it turns out they continued to withdraw funds from our bank account because he continued to Bill us even though we had cancelled our service. Finally we contacted our bank and instructed the bank not to allow Verizon to withdraw funds from our account. We contacted Verizon one more time and ask them to stop withdrawing money and refund what they Otis from the cancellation date back in January. They refunded us $80 and then send us another bill for $80. We refused to pay it so they sent us to collection. Finally we went to the Olympia store and demanded help. The manager on duty did provide some assistance and got us $170 refund. The bad part is that Verizon Owed over $400. When we said that was unacceptable the managers and said she was done with us and instructed us to leave. These people are nothing but no good thieves and they're not going to help you out. read more

When v/m wouldn't allow us access after we got home and had to return to store they acted like we were stupid. Terrible customer service! I purchased a phone here on Thursday and I paid extra to have it delivered on Saturday. Waited all morning ... no phone. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with verizon and they can't find it, can't cancel it, but they did find one at the store I tried to buy it at before. Great. He says he's spoken to the manager and they are holding the phone. I go over there and they inform me they will do me the big favor of refunding my shipping (duh! No kidding! It never arrived!) but that I would lose my $50 device credit if I get the one in the store. I was annoyed and asked to speak to a manager. She was even less helpful and even less nice. Sorry. That's what it is. So, I think about it and my son is with me and really needs his phone...so fine. I will lose the $50, although I don't think it should cost me $50 to BUY A PHONE FROM THE SAME PLACE I just bought it from and that didn't deliver on its promise. Then the guy comes out and informs me I will have to "borrow" the upgrade on my other son's phone to do it! What?! Since he is leaving for the army in two months and going to be cancelling his phone, I would now ALSO lose the $100 I get for "upgrading"? They staff was very unhelpful and very uninterested...they were basically like, "look, you want your phone this is the best we can do..." or you can wait until they maybe ship it and you get it sometime...I am beyond frustrated. I should not leave a store on the very of crying. I am now looking into how to move ALL six of my phone lines to another carrier. Clearly being a customer for nearly a decade counts for nothing...they only care about "new" customers. Never fixed my bill issue. Traded in phones and never once got credit for it. Ripped off for months from Verizon.

Had so many account issues. Took over a year to get account ownership, hours and hours spent to make even the smallest change. Then found out they were giving discount to first responders (including nurses, physicians, EMT's) but not Physician Assistants. That 10 years in the emergency department doesn't mean a thing to them. I am closing my account and switching carriers. Stay away from Verizon as a whole! read more

Yesterday I purchased a new phone from verizon and I when I got home I realized that an included accessory was defective. So I went in today to replace the defective part. The CSR wasn't able to help me with a replacement which is disappointing. I recently had a problem with my smartphone. The home button became harder and harder to push and, being around 5 - 6 years old, I knew the battery was probably on it's last legs. I called and received a quote for both things, and went over to Capital Mall in West Olympia to get the repairs done. I was correct that the battery was on its way out, as it had swollen in size and put a strain on other components. I thought it was a bad home button, but it turned out to be the part that attaches to the button, which includes the phone's charging port. They did not have the part in stock, but set me up with a software home button so I could use my phone while they ordered the part for me. I just had the part replaced today, and I am happy to say it is working like a new phone again. And, there were no extra charges! I would recommend Livit to anyone who needs a phone repair. read more

We just got home from a great experience at the Verizon Store in Capital Mall. We definitely timed it right by going in on a weeknight evening so there wasn't any wait. We appreciated that there were at least three staff members there. Andrew helped us and was amazing. We wanted to add another phone to our account and had quite a few questions. Andrew was very knowledgable and described several options to us and helped guide us to what was best for our situation. We were impressed with how on top of everything he was and how he explained everything we needed to know to help us with our decision. My husband and I went in today to get some information about switching networks. All the sales people were busy with other customers so we settled in and waited for them to finish with someone. After a solid ten minutes we left because not only did no one acknowledge that we were there but also two employees came out of the back room and walked right by us. Then they proceeded to walk up to someone who literally just walked in and ask them if they needed help. I don't know if we are even interested in switching anymore. read more

They don't care at all about their customers I came in with my iPhone 5c it had started to come apart, even though I have the life proof case on it. I got the gorilla glass from livit mobile diagonal from the verizon store it had maybe three cracks but they were protecting the actually screen, there wasn't damage on the phone. The workers at Verizon wanted to charge me 500 dollars to fix it or I could drive to the apple store and ask them to try. They were a bunch of assholes, but livitmobile fixed my phone for free since it is a common problem with the 5c. read more

We were checked in immediately by Peter, who assisted my boyfriend in choosing his Google Pixel phone, which has not left his palms since the store visit. Peter was professional, kind, and most of all genuine. He was not pushy nor invasive, but extremely enthusiastic about the devices & accessories offered by Verizon.
