Wanted to upgrade my iPhone and stopped in on Sunday 9/12. Had a phone on hold for me, waited just 15 minutes since they were busy, no problem. Jon came over and I told him what I wanted to do. He got the phone for me and he fully explained about financing, upgrading, etc and patiently figured out the math and final cost. Explained everything! Even offered some suggestions to save even more money, wow! We finally decided I'll wait for the iPhone 13 to come out later this month which he said was no problem. I just wanted to say that all the employees that were on duty were more than happy to help me out! A great bunch of people! Jon helped me along with another employee which I did not catch his name. Also a young female employee greeted me as I came in the door which was very nice to do. Being a former customer service manager for one of the Big Box stores I could not see any reason for improvements! Keep doing what you're doing, I'll be sure to come back when the new iPhone comes out! I hope this can be shared with those great employees! :) read more

Terrible how a T Mobile team member would act like it's rocket science and that they literally didn't miss anything during lectures in school. Can't even give me a charger that works correctly in my phone, so I've been struggling to charge having to restart my phone everytime. Literally think it was on purpose with intent to get me out of the store while undermining my hardworking and effort at the same time. read more

I wanted to share my great experience at this store this past week. After being a satisfied Sprint customer for over a decade, their handling of tower upgrades has resulted in us being locked into contract with no service at home for a month. Finding a carrier that could provide service, respects customers and not being locked into contract was of utmost importance to us. While we set up our accounts ahead of time, there was a miscommunication and my husband came home with the wrong phone from another store. We spoke to the manager immediately by phone and he wouldn't budge on charging a restocking fee (even with email communication that mentioned the device we had wanted, and the device hadn't been opened!). We found the device we wanted at the Plymouth store, and the reps working that evening were very kind and understanding of not only the hassles we had endured, but that we could potentially be very long-term customers. They waived the restocking fee, set up the new device and sent us on our way. The T-Mobil representatives we worked with were Tony, Reuben and a female (I didn't catch her name tag). To them -- thank you for listening with open minds and epitomizing customer service. I will recommend your store to anyone I cross paths with in the future! I look forward to a long relationship with T-Mobile if they continue to put themselves in the shoes of the customer. read more

This was probably the worst experience I had ever in a mobile phone store. It started out innocent enough, I got an iPhone 6, TMobile had lots of promotions, so I thought I would switch. They messed up EVERY promotion. The free upgrade to unlimited? Messed up. The free 2.5 gb of data from 1 gb? Messed up. I spent at least two hours working with them and I'm paying for services that I should have received from these "promotions." We came to a compromise but even that got messed up. Apparently they don't have any true real power, and everything is "automated" so when they ruin your account in the store nobody on the planet can get you the promos they told you that you would get. Just call TMobile directly, or go to a different store, this place is filled with clowns. And not the funny kind, the tragically sad kind. I now understand why I got price gouged by those other phone operators for so long, at least they were openly taking my money and not hiding behind incompetence. read more

The day after I went to this location, I went to the nicollet mall location and they did *exactly* what I had been trying to accomplish at the T-mobile store in plymouth. They immediately set up the prepaid plan and gave me a Sim card for nothing. It is certainly the plymouth store that is actually a bad outlet. I also have known others who have gone here and had similar experiences when it came to their service. Avoid this particular location at all costs. read more

While I don't love my T-Mobile experience overall, this particular location is awesome. I went in with a malfunctioning Blackberry. He tried to fix it, figured out it wasn't going to happen, ordered me a new one on the spot and $5 and 10 minutes later I was on my way. read more

I had an excruciatingly bad experience with one of the customer service representatives, Jesse. He was rude, pompous, and completely unhelpful. He told me that they had a deal on a particular phone, then when I decided to go with that phone, after mentioning the price being a deciding factor (and by the way, he didn't help me decide because he had no interest in helping me pick out the phone that would fit my needs), he rang me up at a price $250 higher than what I thought it would be. When I said, that's not what you said, he said, "Ok, is there anything else I can help you with?" He was absolutely the epitome of anti-customer service. However, I called to report this to the manager and to see if they could honor the price I was originally quoted on that phone when I walked in, and I spoke with Charlie. He took over 30 minutes on the phone with me to talk to me about my best options, how I can save money in the long run, etc. I went in and bought the phone, did the deal that Charlie recommended and talked with him for an hour. He was a fantastic salesperson and had great customer service. Hopefully I won't need to go back for a long time for phone issues, but I would never recommend anyone to work with Jesse, but Charlie was great. read more
