Time to see what other plans might be a better fit for me/us. But because we are business customers, they have to email the representative to get back to us. So I will update their review after hearing back from the NV Business representative. Update - Sadly, NO surprise, but no one called us... My experience with Corporate TMobile has been fairly poor. And I noticed that the plan I signed up for 2 years ago has all been changed?!?! The good news is that I believe it changed for the better...? Atmosphere - Small location. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm and onSundays from 10am to 6pm. Service - 5 stars. Two team members and two customers ahead of us. They helped the two customers and us in a timely fashion. In and out within half an hour. We actually got the manager helping us today. Corporate TMobile service = 1-2 stars.... Price - We will see what they can do for us. We went in to get two new phones and check out their internet. We were with Sprint for years and they merged with T-mobile. So all together it was a long time. The guy seemed a little new and he kept having to get help from the girl that worked there. He was working the numbers on two new phones and we ended up in a contract for two years and we only had to pay tax which was high because it was based on two $800 phones. Then we asked about their internet service and decided to add that to the plan. We saved a little money there on the monthly bill. We get two weeks to try it out and then after that we are locked in. So far so good with the internet. My main issue is that we were stuck there for 3 hours. Our son and wife were with us and they were stuck there because we drove with them. It just went on and on and he was on the phone with someone for awhile. They need to streamline this process if they want future business. No one want to spend that much time standing there waiting for the service they are paying for. Next time we will go to a corporate store. read more

T-Mobile - Damonte Ranch Tmobile store - Electronics Near Me - Reno, Nevada

We've been with T Mobile for about a year. The good news? My 5G router works great (better than Spectrum at any rate) and the cell service is good. The bad news is? Anything that touches corporate downright sucks. When we came to T Mobile we paid off our phones at Spectrum and provided a receipt to get reimbursed. Corporate turned it down. Went back to the store and figured out what they wanted in addition. Got that paperwork to them. Again refused. Third time we provided them with everything they could possibly need. Refused again. Finally, the store just issued a credit for the amount of our payoffs, thus getting our money back by not having to pay a bill for a few months. Note: the employees in the store worked hard to figure this out and give us solution, so kudos to them for their efforts. Fast forward to last week when we wanted to upgrade our phones to the new iPhone 16e. Store visit went well and we were setup accordingly. I decided to see if I had gotten the best possible deal since "free" phones are never free. I spent 3 hours on a chat with someone from T Mobile and finally arrived at what I thought was a slightly better deal. Literally a couple of days later I got the new bill and it WAY out of line. Back to the store where they told me to NEVER engage in a chat with their people. Finally they fix this latest catastrophe with the caveat that the bill may still be screwed up next month and to just come back to the store to fix it again. The next day I got a text telling me my internet had been disconnected because my plan had changed. As it turned out, my internet wasn't turned off; the notice was just ill-advised. Communication is key people. Bottom line here is a) just work with the store and b) if you can, avoid corporate people there like the plague. I have no problem with the store people but I am sick to death of dealing with their opaque policies and business practices. read more

This was the worst experience ever I came in here to purchase a prepaid plan they didn't like it they insisted on selling me a cell phone I didn't need a new cell phone then the guy walked away when I kept telling him I would just like to purchase a prepaid plan then I called another store and found out they don't like doing it because it's time consuming and they don't make commission so the store loses money the company loses money and the employee doesn't care don't go there! My awesome fiance bought me the new Iphone 15 Pro Max 256 GB for my birthday. She told me if I wanted to upgrade it I could go into the store and exchange it for about $70 bucks to get the 512 GB So you 'd think that would be an easy enough task right? Not here. This place is a such a huge waste of time. It wasn't even busy. I walked in and two people were ahead of me. I ask one of the two employees if there's a waiting list I can sign into and he just scoffs at me like I was wrong for inquiring. About 10 min goes by so this is around 1:40 pm on Sunday November 26. The two people who had arrived earlier were then helped; leaving me to wait as the next person in line. They could have easily asked me what I was there for and informed me they don't carry the 512GB phone in stock. That would have been the end of it, I'd leave and go on with my day. Did that happen you ask? Did Giovanni or Amit have the courtesy or professionalism to do that simple bit of common sense? Of course not. Now I'm not going to assume that these two have any common sense or were in any way educated in any formal arena. I know what people of that caliber sound like. These two each sounded pretty high on some either edibles or alcohol, perhaps both. How these two were just completely able to waste over an hour helping two parties is beyond me. T-mobile is losing its proverbial tail paying these people to just waste their time on the job speaking about nonsense that has nothing to do with the sales of T-mobile products. I waited from 1:40 pm next in line till 2:40 pm and they still weren't finished with the people they had started to help. I was livid and in complete disbelief of this. I was finally called up and they were unable to help me. Giovanni even laughed and smiled when he told me it was normal for people wait for an ungodly amount of time. So not only was he rude and unprofessional but he was glib about being wasteful and amused that I was upset at him. T-mobile is usually pretty quick where I come from. If you want to sit around and have your time wasted by unremarkable individuals.... this is your place. These guys will talk, talk and talk about nothing important while you wait. Then say inappropriate impolite comments when you press them about taking so long. If you want to feel incredibly unintelligent about your use of time during your day, you should totally come in here. I've never met any employees so unqualified at their jobs as customer service as these two. You can be sure that you'll spend way more time then you should in here. Are all T-mobiles in Reno this bad? I don't know. I have a plan with several lines and I am intending on calling a competitor and having my entire account plan cancelled and picked up by some other provider. I despise playing games, and love taking business from unappreciative people like this. Amit and Giovanni are the reason places like T-mobile lose good customers. If you are thinking of starting a new service with these people I suggest going to at least another store. Because coming in here is not worth it if you value the minutes in your day. read more

This store needs to be closed or have all employees replaced. It is the pits! Went there where 2 years ago got a router which has stopped working recently. I had 2 chats withT-Mobile online and after 45 minutes with tech support it was finally decided the router needs to be replaced which I already knew. I was told to return it to the store and they are shipping a replacement. The store refuses to accept it and tells me to ship it back to the company (I have no idea where). They only want to sell you something possibly they get a commission and don't care what T-Mobile tells you to do. It looks like they don't want to do anything. I had Metro PCS which was terrible, the worst ever. We went to T-Mobile on Keystone in Reno, John helped us. I told him what we wanted and needed and no questions he delivered and got our bundle and was even $65 cheaper a month. When I transferred from Verizon to T-Mobile eight months ago my transfer was mishandled, I was lied to by regional manager, and the new guy helping me was an absolute disaster. I've had nothing but trouble with T-mobile since. I've called customer service several times, and the day before yesterday my phone stopped taking a charge and it was only at 5% battery life. Said phone has also been very glitchy for the past two months. I went into this location and the female in there was pathetic, TBH. When I told her I think I needed a new phone but wasn't sure I needed an upgrade or even if I needed a new phone at all, because my problem was it not charging, she didn't even look at me in the face. She just asked for my ID and started click-clacking away on her computer. Then she started writing a whole bunch of things down on a piece of paper, the entire time not speaking to me. I began to volunteer information, and asked her if she could just look at my phone and see if it could take a charge there, to which she snapped at me "we don't fix phones here." She gave me an option of filing an insurance claim, or spending $600 on a new phone. She didn't explain if I was eligible for an upgrade, she didn't really explain what the charges were, and when I again asked her if she could look at my phone and just see if there was something wrong with my charger or something she snapped the same verbiage at me. And then would just stare at me with dead eyes. When I told her I could not leave the building without an operating phone, she could not have cared less. She was also quite rude to the women she was helping before me, and they all seemed very polite and nice to her. She kept reiterating garbage about an insurance claim, and I never raised my voice but I was in an assertive tone saying that that was not an option for me, and she would have to think of something else and again why hadn't she even looked at my phone? She said she was trying to help me in her monotone voice, and I said "Are you? Are you trying to help me, because it doesn't seem like it." And then she told me to, "Keep it respectful." To which I grabbed my purse and left. On my way out, she suddenly gained a personality and in a singsong sarcastic voice told me to have a nice day. I drove across the parking lot to the AT&T store and transferred my service over to them. Jeremiah over there had my T-Mobile phone working in five seconds, btw. All he had to do was pop the case off and clean out the charging port a little bit with some tool, and it was fine. Came in here to get a prepaid card and it seems like the people working there were very focused on what kind of upsells they could provide you. It seems like when they realized that they weren't going to make any Headway with the upsell then they were ready to just get you out of there and do the least amount for you. I do have to give them credit for assisting us with a gentleman that slipped on the ice and broke his leg they did call 911 for us to get the poor guy in ambulance. I came in to add a line to my account and order a cheap phone for my kid. The associate told me there was a buy one get one promo going on. I asked him how much this would cost in total for that day, to which he replied "$200.32". I went ahead with the deal, swiped my card once for $200.32, signed papers, took my new phones and walked out. The next day I see the charge on my bank for $200.32 as well as an additional charge for $249.71. I called TMobile customer service and was told this was an additional higher down payment for the second (free?) Phone and it would be refunded via bill credits over 24 months. I never was informed of the additional charge, I never authorized it or swiped my card for it. The only receipt he gave me was for the agreed charge of $200.32. Somehow he managed to illegally charge my card an additional charge without me knowing. TMobile customer service will not refund the amount without charging me a restock fee since the phone had been used. Beware. read more

Stay away, if I could give them 0 I would! Let's start from the beginning it took hours to switch from Verizon. My stupidly thinking oh lets lower the bill. When all was said and done I felt confident in my choice to switch. Awesome phones added more lines for the same price. Boy was I wrong Clint my bff there ((not)) messed up everything every week I was calling. Then the first bill came 300 dollars I was only paying 230 at Verizon. It was just a fiasco having them 40 days. Refused to cancel my service because I was out of the 14 day buyers remorse. I read the contract it said for new service you had 30 days to change also again how they lied. Finally I got ahold of someone you have to email and they helped me out and took those phones AND horrible service back. I went back to Verizon with my 5 lines and I'm paying less then before and have service everywhere!! Seriously T-Mobile swindles you with these fancy promotion but they are too good to be true. I began having significant issues with my cell service with Verizon as well as billing issues over a period of six months. Within the last few weeks, I had one day where my cell phone dropped 17 calls ! I said enough was enough finally and I went to T-Mobile where a young gentleman by the name of Amit (and I might have the name spelling wrong) exhibited professionalism and customer service that I can only rate him a ten out of ten!!! We wanted to switch our family plan from Verizon to tmobile and take advantage of their promotions. Our situation was a bit complicated as some of our phones qualified for the getofthered and others weren't. In addition, my kids live out of state so they weren't at the store to do the switcherover. We were fortunate to have Michelle and David as our customer rep. They are both friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They patiently answered our questions and walked us through the plans that benefited us the most. They then efficiently did the transfer and helped coordinate our kids' transfer. I came in to T-Mobile and connected with Zack who was A M A Z I N G!!!! Went in to pay my kid's bill and he shared with me the option plan T Mobile has. He got me into a new iPhone and iPad and assisted me in cancelling my Verizon Galaxy phone and pad. My new bill now covers both of my new devices AND 3 cell phone for the same amount of my own plan at Verizon. The entire staff in this store is so knowledgeable and professional. This is the store!! Poor service from a store manager! Danny the store manager delivered horrible customer service to me as a new customer at the Mae Ann location just this week before he was transferred to the Damonte location. I would hesitate before working with him again. Unprofessional behavior is not appreciated as a new customer with concerns about charges that totaled about $100.00 more per month than promised. I called the store concerned and asked for the store manager. He answered and listened to my concerns. He promised he would get into my account and call me back. This never occurred. When I called back for him 5 hours later, I was told he could not come to the phone. I was told he would deliver a message to my salesperson to contact me by noon the next day to solve this issue. This never occurred. When I called back, Danny had moved stores. I brought a family of 4 to T-Mobile and purchased all new iPhones. His unwillingness to assist me as a new customer with questions about my charges was unacceptable. read more

I came in at 2:20pm today to switch to T-Mobile and purchase a new phone. I already knew what plan and model I wanted, and I had about 30 minutes before I needed to head home, so I figured I had plenty of time. Came in to FIVE customers waiting on ONE employee. After twenty minutes and one person walked out, he went in the back and retrieved help--where at least three people came out! So why were they in back when the store was so busy in the first place?? While I waited on the ONE employee, who turned out to be a manager (I think the store manager), a woman told him she would help me pick a phone. I explained I already knew what I was getting and what plan, and I just needed to do the paperwork. Still, he let her show me stuff and talk me through it (all info I already had) while he helped someone who arrived after me. Turns out the woman was a CUSTOMER who didn't know anything I didn't already know myself and basically just wasted another 10 minutes of my time while the manager helped someone else. It's bad enough to be passed on to someone else, but to a CUSTOMER?? That's beyond ridiculous. Once someone came from the back to help me, things went pretty smoothly. He talked me through my plan options and got me my new phone, even helping me make sure everything was backed up. He told me my old phone could be traded in toward the down payment on the new, and I thought that sounded like a good plan. I asked four or five times if my old number was going to work on the new phone because I wasn't willing to lose my old number, and he assured me it would. "Worst case, it'll take a couple of hours for it to activate on the new phone." Okay, I can live with a temporary number for a couple of hours... He told me they'd call me if there were any problems porting the number. Two hours after activating my new phone, the old number hadn't ported. Checked again at 3 hours, then at 4. It was now after 7pm, and I was concerned about what calls or messages I might be missing and didn't want the store closing for the night without me having my number working. I called the store, and the guy answering the phone said "Honestly, it usually takes at least a day." AT LEAST a DAY?!? He said, "Today's Wednesday? Call us if it isn't working by Friday. Until then, just use both phones." Umm... NO. I traded in my old phone because your employee told me it was a good idea and that my number would work in a couple of hours, WORST CASE. I cannot go AT LEAST A DAY without my phone number! I couldn't possibly notify all my family, colleagues, the doctors I'm waiting on return calls from, or my kid's school of the new number in the next day, and I don't really want to give everyone a new number that's only going to work for a day. IF I HAD BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE, I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY PHONE INSTEAD OF TRADING IT FOR A PATHETIC $43. Then, at least, people would be able to REACH me!! Summary: I had a half-hour to buy the phone and plan I had already researched and picked before walking in. I got pawned off by the manager to a CUSTOMER for help. I was LIED to about how long it would take to have my phone number active on the new phone, and, based on that misinformation, turned over the only phone working on my number. I've been unavailable to everyone I know for nearly 5 hours now and won't have my number active until at LEAST tomorrow morning... And it took me 45 minutes to get this crap pulled on me, making me late to pick up my kid. WOW, I wish I had kept my absolutely worthless phone on lousy Virgin, where at least I paid LESS per month and wasn't lied to! read more

I was pretty unhappy with my experience here. Working in retail, I understand having to make sales goals and commission but the second I walked in the door all they wanted to do was sell me something. I told them I was maybe interested in upgrading seeing as my screen had been damaged recently. They were aggressively insistent on making me get the newest iPhone. Okay fine but how much is the 5 instead. "No no it's basically the same price". Okay no price comparison or other phone options. No way to fix my phone in sight. Then they explain that they see extensive water damage only AFTER I had mentioned I had gotten some water on it. Then I go from having to just pay tax on a new phone to I have to pay $150 deductible plus the down payment on a new phone...all the while they're saying how great tmobile is for paying off my almost paid for old phone. Then sales guy says "oh no don't worry I'm going to hook you up with a new phone case!!!" What a nice guy. Hook me up meaning let me finance an $80 phone case. Any other options for cases. Oh no this is the best. Only get this one. When I say he's coming on a little strong the store manager interrupts and mentions he's "just going his job"... sir I've done his job and I've never once made a customer feel this uncomfortable. Went to this store to get a brand new phone which for me at first was hard because I haven't got a phone for a long time. A guy named Clint helped me out. I told him I want the best phone I can get for the cheapest price, and that's exactly what I got. He was quick easy to work with and very knowledgeable on almost all the product's.
