The Manager and one of the employees spent…read more15 minutes telling us that they could not do a content transfer to a new phone for me because it would take to long ( we had been waiting for 1 1/2 hours fit them to help 6 people, but now it was 20 min to closing..they assured us while we waited everybody waiting would be taken care off) . My phone was old, so they speculated how tough to impossible it would be to get the content. According to the manager I need to get a new phone all 2 years!!! We bought a phone ( since my old one was literally only working while connected to a power). The purchase was not as easy as it sounds since the guy could not even figure out what SIMS card to use. I took it home and transferred everything myself.. I am absolutely not tech savvy, but it was laughable easy and took maybe 20 minutes. You would think that people who do this for a living would know.

The guy working there would ask a completely vague question and when it wasn't answered right he got an attitude. Not once but at least FOUR times. Then finally the round manager came over to help and when he finished his explanation we asked him to speak with an associate at the out of state store and he said "NOPE, not right now!" And walked away. We felt uncomfortable from beginning to end and after an hour of being talked to like WE were the dumbasses we finally just left...without new plans or new phones. The store manager there at the…read moretime tried to throw in home internet service (he asked what company currently provided us service but did not ask if we wanted to switch, he assumed we wanted to,) a trade-in for my husband's phone, and an additional (third) phone line which we did not need. He also claimed the promotion that wanted to use did not exist but another one did which included an additional phone line. We pushed back stating we did not need/want everything he was trying to push onto us and showed them the promotion (my husband pulled it up on his phone) and he eventually gave up and we were able to just trade-in my phone with the promotion we originally came in expecting to use (it did exist!) I feel like the manager and his other coworkers have definitely gotten away with pushing additional services and products in other customers.

Still great service (I don't have a landline ...just the internet at home). I would have given them 5 stars because I am not sure if it is my computer, modem or them but my internet is not all that fast....I wish it was but I don't need it all that much at home when I have it here at work. I highly recommend them for service. They have always been sincere and helpful. Even with my Mom...if she ever had issues they were very patient with her. :) and solved her problems.

While friends of mine have "free" email (gmail, etc) they're plagued with spam. USFAMILY beautifully filters enormous amounts of it. I can still view it if I choose, and when I do view it, I'm always blown away how much crap they've save me from. The very few times I've needed assistance, a live person is ready and willing and solves my issues quickly. Definitely worth the few dollars it costs me per year!

This was a fiber-to-the-home connection, complete with a fiber optic cable I could actually look at in the closet. When I activated the service, which was really quick and easy, I got about 50 Megabits per second over the modem's built in wi-fi router. When I wired my laptop directly to the switch, however, I easily got the rated 500 Mbps I was paying for in an online speedtest. Don't use the built-in wifi router. I purchased high quality Unifi equipment, and I easily get 4x faster speeds than I did when I only had the built-in wifi access point.
