Outstanding customer service ..thank you!! I highly recommend this place and stuff are nice

Went to upgrade my phone and was put through a process that made me feel as if the ad they offered was not going to work for me. After some debating about a crack on the back of my phone, they agreed to upgrade my phone. Then they wanted to sell me some other products that I did not feel I needed. I decided not to go through with the upgrade at that store and decided never to go back to the Clairmont Square store. Instead, I called Tmobile, and the agent agreed to upgrade my phone for the full upgrade value and sent me another phone without any problems. After receiving my phone I went to the T-Mobile store at UTC and was treated like I felt a customer should be treated. I got my case and glass applied to protect the new phone and walked away a very happy customer. I would recommend to any customer not to use the TMobile store in Clairmont Square, their knowledge and customer service were poor, yet in the UTC TMobile store they we very helpful and respectful of me as a customer. read more

on the 7th of September 2021 I went into this shop to buy a prepaid plan.  I was assisted by a young lady that since the beginning was rude and make inappropriate comments like "any plan will be expensive for you" which I didn't get at the beginning but I very soon realised that it was a bigoted comment. I realised she has a bad attitude, when while I was still in the shop a old lady came in and discreetly asked for assistance of the other member of the time due to the rudeness of this female attendant. My problems with her started when she tried to charge my plan via credit card and the machine started buzzing, she said that I was a foreigner any of my cards would work, I said to her that it should work because I pay everything with this card. She tried once more and refused to try again, then I handed her another card which she said it didn't work as well. So I said I would pay by cash, she took the money in a very impolite way, and didn't gave me the receipt. Last night I checked my credit card account and it was charged the same amount I paid in cash. I went into the store this morning and I was really well treated by Ann-Marie, who confirmed that it was charged by credit card. She tried to contact her manager to sort it out but she couldn't get hold of him. So I came back twice afterwards into the shop and the situation wasn't sorted. It is disgraceful that customers are treated in such a manner, I've been several countries and states and that was the most awful situation I've experienced. The handling of the situation was awful, and if you don't believe in one very disappointed customer check your camera and you will confirme the awful customer service within your store. I hope you will be able to sort it out as soon as possible, once I don't want to get into your shop anymore and be mistreated again. read more

Shay has come through and helped us out each and every single time we've been in the store! He has been super helpful and got us where we needed to be after the over the phone customer service department neglected to do so. At this point, there seems to be no problem Shay can't fix! We've been to a couple T-Mobile stores in the Clairemont area, but due to Shay's excellent customer service it seems like we'll continue going back to him with anything that T-Mobile throws our way. I ordered Internet but canceled it within a couple days and they still charged me $198. They refunded me for the Internet portion but They said I ordered a landline too. I never ordered a landline why in the heck would I I haven't had a landline in over five years. They charged me $98 and did not refund it to me. I feel very ripped off. AT&T if you're reading this I'm still waiting for my refund I keep getting the runaround and being told to call different departments. read more

Always get helped out when I come in here. Unlike most other tmobile locations they are not just trying to get a sale out of me, but rather genuinely helping. I refuse to go to other locations, even though I moved from the area to Alpine I still come to this location if I need to do anything in store. I cannot give it a full 5 stars though based on my past experience. I wanted to transfer my line and phone lease to my own account with my wife from my moms plan. The associate wasnt sure if they could do it so they checked with management. After coming back we were informed that was not an option and I would have to pay off my phone first. After I left I called customer service and they were able to process my request no problem. Other than that though I have no problems with their service. read more

My Husband and I visited this T-Mobile to switch me to his phone plan. We just recently got married and he's joining the military. We were so pleased with the amazing offer T-Mobile gives for military families. Jamie and Sammy helped us out and were beyond helpful. They were such genuine people who really wanted to help us get the best plan possible. They were even personable with conversation and helped us pick out the best phones, cases and screen protectors that will give us the best bang for our buck. I'm so happy to be switching over to T-Mobile, and even more pleased to know there is such a nice location close by my house! read more

Had the worst experience at this location and tmobile in generalThe so called manager alondro or eduardo that worked on Monday night with the black painted fingernails was clueless and seemed like t hey just hire anyone. Already had to wait 4 days without a phone that was suppose to be overnight thru insurance. Then had no Sim card sent with phone of course. So I called the clairmont dr store and explained the situation and b4 I was finished he talked over pplme and hung up. So I went down there and could already tell he wanted to just go home and just didn't know what he was doing. All I needed was a Sim card and said that ins. Sent a defective phone and wouldn't do anything else to help. Told him I had a infant at home and my work depended on my phone. 5 days I went without a phone that I already gave them another 250 to replace my stolen one. So I called corporate and just kept getting handed off to someone else and explained my story over and over again. Very poor quality customer service and had no care about what I was going thru after 15 yrs of paying them for service. Since sprint merged I've had numerous problems. Didn't even get offered something for all the headache and inconvenience and had no emergency contact for my 3 young kids. No empathy . Very disappointed and gonna have to express this to all my social media if nothing done read more

I was helped out by Sammy who was extremely friendly and efficient he helped me switch from Sprint finally he made it painless for me! ATTENTION MILITARY AT 32ND STREET. I was with T-Mobile for almost two years. I cancelled with them because I could not communicate with others unless I was in the right place far away from the piers. What if your wife or husband was sick or injured and they tried to contact you but to bad for you, because you have T-Mobile and so you never knew about it. It's unfortunate so I switched. However, that is not the main reason for the review. I received extreme poor service when I wanted to switch services. If your phone is locked it can nearly take a week for them to get it unlocked. I was on hold for an hour and a half and went through three bosses that were located in the Philippines before they patched me through to a T-Mobile expert that was state side that was going to get the phone unlocked. Well, guess what he screwed up and then I had to bother them the next day and was on hold for nearly another hour before they finally got it done. Word of advice go with anyone but T-Mobile or Sprint as they are about to merge so you will get the same poor service regardless. I prefer AT&T due to the fact that they have good service down at 32ND street. T-Mobile customer service actually replied saying that they want to help me resolve the issue, if they read this post originally I explained above that I already took care of it, once again poor poor customer service. As an employee , I love T-Mobile, and they don't have to pay me to say it. I have fast unlimited coverage all over San Diego , with no crazy bill overages or fees that don't make sense. Plus , the company has an extensive 3 week customer service training course , so you know the company actually cares about it's customers and the experiences they have with T-Mobile. All of the yelp reviews about this T-Mobile store and most corporations use paid for Bot non-human or paid workers that right write false reviews about stores/corporations boost their consumer satisfaction. Please don't trust 3/4th of the reviews you see on yelp, if you're actually looking to review a place check who the actual reviewer's are. I just drove 45 minutes to come to a store that is not open yet, it appears that it is still in the process of becoming a T-Mobile store. It's surprising how many wonderful reviews they have considering nobody can even purchase an item from this location yet. Just a thought. read more

Flor is the best representative there! She was so knowledgeable about all the phones and knew exactly what to recommend to me based off what I was looking for! Been needing to go to T-Mobile for the last month and half because my phone was acting up. Couldn't access the internet service or any apps. Only could make calls and text which was a big setback for me. Had spoken to the T-Mobile people on the phone over a month ago and they stated it was due to the new installations to the service since the merge and that it would be fixed once the towers were finished setting up in the areas which were affected. So I waited for about a month and still nothing changed. Finally decided that while working I stop into the T-Mobile here and to my surprise ALEX was a real big help. He tried a few things, changing out my SIM card, checking for any updates needed which come to find out I needed to update my phone. At first it didn't work but then he remembered about the VPN I didn't know affected your service when on. He explained to me what it does, changing your location to somewhere else to help reduce hackers from getting your info. Which I already had an app to do that for me. He turned it off and when I tried to access my apps it worked! Everything was back to normal, life saver because I was getting down to the wire in wanting to be an angry customer with T-Mobile on the phone lol. Bad bad customer services in this location, i had a couple questions: they did not have any customer, i want buy a new phone for my son, she say i can't have jump on demand, i asked why not, she did not know anything, another girl come from the back, with very bad attitude, answer some thing, bad customer services from this two girls, i did not want to ask or buy anything i left that store and go to Balboa location and buy the phone y want.
