This is a T-Mobile corporate store vs the retail stores (as often red flagged by nonchalant kids that DGAF primarily interested in commissions on selling you phones or overpriced accessories available for a fraction online) ...are night and day in quality of service and knowledge. I cancelled or at least thought I cancelled my account with T-Mobile and switched to att because of the service and other bs I usually had to deal with in this store. Today I had to go in to officially cancel my phones after a few months of thinking I had cancelled their service. I had Denise helping me which has been the only positive of my experience with T-Mobile and I might have stayed on with them (used them for 22 years) if everyone was as helpful as Denise. read more

I explained my crazy situation to him, he totally understood what I was going through, and worked his magic to get my problem corrected. Excellent customer service from Tom!!! My friend and I arrived at the store at 7:57 after another store in rolling meadows turned us down when we got there 15 minutes before they closed but said they were too busy. We made our way over to the Schaumburg store with little hope expecting to be turned down again. But the associate Tom took care of us and our phone payment even willing to stay a little later just to make sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond compared to the other store and appreciate him greatly. read more

Very poor customer service from the bottom up. First by the store Rep, was approved for upgrade, was told by the store Rep that my old phone is scratched from the back, although their upgrade policy says the screen is the most important not the back, has to tell him what is T mobile upgrade policy is, of course Store Rep will refuse the upgrade, they are interested in selling up, not upgrading. Asked for the manager, Manager was poor trained, his face turned red, demanded that they wouldn't service me, and asked me as a customer to leave the store! I am T Mobile Customer since 2004, I have five accounts with them, I pay them $400 monthly, I think I am entitled to better customer service. I will cancel all my accounts with them. Wanted to drop my old trade in phones. Was told system glitch and online order hence have to ship-it etc etc. T-mobile email said drop at a store or ship-it. Anyway bunch of incompetent staff here. I just went and did the drop off and credit and receipt for drop off just fine at the Rolling Meadows store. No good. The rep was standoffish and rude when I told him about the problem with my galaxy s7edge. A small chip in the center of the home button has rendered my fingerprint scan useless. He told me that it wasn't covered because I cracked it. Tmobile told me something completely different - there is a known issue with the home button, and as long as there are no screen cracks, it's covered under warranty. He didn't even feel the need to look into my issue or even pull up my account. I guess a 4 month old 800 dollar phone just isn't worth this store's time. Save your time and gas and just call tmobile direct. Very dissatisfied. read more

So yesterday I went to the one on Barrington to do a Jump on Demand (upgrade phone every 30 days) and they took an hour (with nobody in line) to finally tell me i cant do it. I went to this one afterwards and was in and out within 5 minutes with a new phone. Love this store! read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband and I had been loyal T-Mobile customers for almost four years and went into this location (which we'd always used) to see about getting a new phone. They wanted to charge us retail price, $479, but - although we only had 13 months left on the contract - were willing to give it to us for a low-monthly rate for 36 months....23 more than remained on the contract. When we asked what other options there were we were told none. Now we're fighting with them over the cancellation fee which, unlike their competitors, they refuse to prorate. Their customer service is hiding behind their "policy," which anyone who has ever worked in business knows is subject to some level of interpretation. Stay away at all costs... read more

7:30 on a Thursday evening and I was amazed at how quickly we were helped. My daughter was in need of a new phone and Matt seemed so knowledgeable in what she wanted while being helpful and patient getting everything transferred over and answering all questions either of us had. We noticed that the sale rep. Marilyn DeLuna's (store# 8616)promised deal kept on changing little by little as she was setting up a new line for us....the free netflix deal could not be offered no more, a new ph# had to be issued to get us a deal.... Credit history was checked and she even charged our credit card. But then, we found out that she was forcing us into 24mo contract instead of 18mo promotion w/o even telling us (glad that we checked..) We finally had to say 'No, stop. Cancel the order', I would not go further and describe how she reacted or behaved because I am not sure if she is just not educated enough or have no knowledge on their own products/promotions. All these could have been prevented if she was able to openly explain all in detail from the beginning like any other sale reps would do. I will put it this way. ' -5 stars for her attitude, -5 for her professionalism and -5 for her customer service '. Her manager didn't help much neither. Sigh.....Received no apologies. People don't get trained properly in this pandemic no more? That's when I decided we should not waste more time there. So I simply asked the manager for the confirmation email of cancellation and left. This was two wks ago. Well...I still haven't gotten any confirmation from them yet. I was in the store at 8pm on 12/04/2019 and after I waited for just under a minute, I saw a gentleman walking towards me. Right away, I felt unwelcomed because sales associate Diego didnt even acknowledge or greeted as he was walking towards me. Instead, I was the one who greeted him and also described the purpose of my visit. This is very unusual that 1 hour before store closing the associate is not happy to see a customer in the store and right away i felt unwelcomed. I would be lying if i didnt say I felt sort of discriminated because of my appearance. I was there to get some help on how to get the ipad setup completed but after some failed apple id login attempts from my side, Diego asked me when I bought this ipad and i told him probably a month ago and he said I should go to a apple store to get the setup done. Remember at this point i gave Diego my drivers license and he was already accessing my account so he could have easily found when i bought the ipad but because of his lack of interest he didnt show any interest to look for information. Next, i asked him about upgrading my iphone 11 to iphone 11 pro max and he then asked me what plan i have on iphone 11, i told him i don't remember and plus hes already in my account so cant he check this information there? Diego responded oh yes i can check but its delayed response. I am like i have been doing business with this location for over 10 years and never seen such a cold behavior and secondly how a associates lack of interest to lookup information and instead he kept asking me for more information. I will be making a general statement here, because at the time I visited the store, Diego represented this location so hence I feel this location discriminates based on your looks and appearance. I went in the other day and the associate was helpful. He gave me a great deal. Told me the Black Friday deal ends Saturday the 19th at 8pm and to come in before then. Not sure why the Black Friday deal would end a week before Black Friday but maybe that should have been a clue to what was to come. Called the associate today (the 18th) and he said to come in . When I went in to sign up for business plan (I'm self employed but basically a family plan and I had my kids with me to get their new phones) he got the new phones out which pleased my kids. Then I confirmed the prices and it seemed things had changed. He said "we have a new promotion now". The service plan price was up more than $20 per month and the free tablet to replace my iPad was not an iPad but a mini Samsung. Not what I was told nor what I wanted. The iPad would be another $39 per month when I was led to believe it was included in what was to be my new monthly charge. I told him I wasn't going to do it this way. He said that was all he could do but he would talk to his manager and to give him a minute. Didn't see him again. After 10 minutes we left. Another observation. The place was crowded but most conversations were about problems on their bills between what they were told and what was billed. Very disappointing. I'd give less stars if I could. Walked in with my iPhone 7 Plus being a jump on demand customer. Walked out less than 15 minutes with an iPhone 8 Plus. Surprised they had them in stock for the first day. Highly recommend going in at non peak times because it will be trouble free. Blame yourself if you go in on the weekend on peak times. Obviously it will be annoying to be on a waiting list. Go in on weekdays before 5. Customer service is great, they have to do their job by advertising other products you didn't come in for. read more

If you are a Tmobile customer and you think by going to Tmobile store you will get the best prices you got it all wrong. HTC Sensation at this store is $ 199.00 with 2 year contract. Walmart -$ 49.00(same phone, same contract). Target and Radio Shack-$ 99.00. These tmobile guys will spend half an hour trying to talk you into buying phone insurance but will "forget" to mention there is a $ 150 deductible. No clearly marked prices on accessories. When asked about phone case price, the guy looked at it, said $ 20, then said $ 10.00. Car salesman practices at their best. Stay away from this place. read more

My husband and I went here to activate his new phone. While waiting our 5 year old son needed to use the bathroom. They refused to unlock the bathroom door and told us to go next door to Panera. Which I did. When my husband gave his opinion regarding their lack of customer service, the store manager asked him to leave. We've been customers for over 8 years and we will be dropping them. Had issues with my old phone and was told by a phone rep to go to local store to have a sim card replaced to hopefully resolve the problem. Visited this location at lunchtime expecting a long wait but was helped within minutes. Long sorry short the sim card was not helpful and I had to return to the store within the hour, ending up purchasing a new phone. Both times was welcomed with a friendly greeting and helped within a few minutes. I may have waited a little longer because I wanted the same young man to assist me as before. The rep was Giuseppe and was so patient with me in switching everything over as I am older and my children were out of town for the holiday weekend and couldn't do it for me. seriously rude people with an attitude prob here. relatively short dude, wearing glasses with blackish hair or dark brown. very cold, unfriendly. HE rang me up but i asked a simple question about headphones and the dude was just so... almost rude not quite there yet. but just unpleasant to talk to, like he really couldn't give a crap about anything. honestly coming to this store just made me sick of tmobile in general. i hate coming to locations where they actually make me feel emotionally bad for spending money with them... i'm surprised this store is even open now that i look at the reviews. obviously something deeper going on that tmobile needs to check out. read more

i went to this location to sign up new service after trying out AT&T(never again). i was assisted by a young man and the manager(Sean) to sign me up. the wait was a bit long but they wrote my name down on the list and i was waiting. when it was my turn i was assisted right away and they were happy to sign me up for 4 cell phones on a family plan(Who wouldnt, theyre on commission) and the Iphone 5 which wasnt in stock in white, but the manager somehow found one stashed away for someone else that didnt yet pick it up. i enjoyed my experience there and the store is very nice and bright, but the other employees didnt seem to interested in anything their customers were saying to them as i walked around for 20 minutes and listened in. the prices were the same as everywhere else with the new plans and full price phones but i felt like i was taken care of very well and the manager even thanked me for my business. i just wish i could remember the salespersons name that helped me. I recommend you go see him(has a british accent but i think is Indian). T-Mobile as a company tho doesnt earn tyhis review. the service has gotten worse and worse, the reception is horrible, and the customer service tells you they will file a ticket and POOF! nothing happens and i still have to pay. read more
